When a dentist-fearing Louise (Kristen Schaal) finds out she needs a cavity filled, she runs away and seeks refuge with Aunt Gayle (guest voice Megan Mullally), where she is quickly joined by Gene (Eugene Mirman) and Tina (Dan Mintz). Ken Jeong guest-voices as Dr. Yap.

AMERICAN DAD (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT) – “Rubberneckers”
Stan (Seth MacFarlane) is interviewed by an intimidating insurance inspector (guest voice Terry Crews) when his “rubbernecking” causes a massive traffic accident. COSMOS: A SPACETIME ODYSSEY (9:00-10:00PM ET/PT) – “The Lost Worlds of Planet Earth”
The Ship of the Imagination embarks on a journey through space and time to grasp how the autobiography of the earth is written in its atoms, its oceans, its continents and all living things. Later, American geologist Marie Tharp (guest voice Amanda Seyfried) creates the first true map of Earth’s ocean floor, and discovers microscopic life that exists deep beneath the ocean.

Later, Chef Ramsay puts the pressure on the chefs to execute a flawless dinner service, but each of the teams struggles to communicate with each other, delaying the dinner service.

In another nail-biting LIVE results show, the finalist who receives the fewest votes will be eliminated from the race for the title.

Faye believes she has the weight of the entire restaurant on her shoulders, while Brenda does not feel she is treated as an equal in the partnership. With tensions rising, the food not up to standards and everyone playing the blame game, Chef Ramsay is faced with one of the stickiest situations he’s ever encountered.

As far as new shows, FOX has Riot, which features celebrities and comedians facing song, dance, and sketch challenges while navigating a stage titled at a 22-degree angle, on May 13th; scripted drama Gang Related, which stars the likes of Terry O’Quinn and Ramon Rodriguez, on Thursday, May 22nd; and I Wanna Marry “Harry,“ a reality series featuring 12 women who think they’ve been selected for a dating show with Prince Harry as the ultimate prize, on Tuesday, May 27th.

However, it’s not all good news, as finale dates for both Rake and Enlisted have yet to be confirmed, not a positive sign for their future on the network. While Hell’s Kitchen will air into the summer, its finale date also currently unknown, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is set to conclude its first season on March 25th and the one-hour series finale of Raising Hope will premiere Friday, April 4th.

FOX will unveil its fall 2014 schedule on Monday, May 12th.

“These shows are some of the best and acclaimed series on television, with influential, culture-driving stars, and some of the best, most creative talent behind the camera,” said Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, and Joe Earley, Chief Operating Officer, Fox Broadcasting Company.  “All four are core assets within our 2014-15 portfolio of content, and we’re really happy to bring them back to our FOX fans for another season.”

The quartet joins Bones, Sleepy Hollow, and Glee in getting early renewals for next season, though the likes of Enlisted and Almost Human were left out in the cold for now. Though FOX promises additional pickups to be announced soon, the network has online casino been stockpiling programming for next season and there”s only so much space to go around, year-round programming initiative or not. The currently un-renewed shows certainly aren”t dead, at least in the case of Almost Human, but it”s going to be a long wait until May for those involved in certain productions.

With FOX getting the bulk of its upfronts announcements out of the way, The CW already renewing half its schedule, and CBS likely to give mass renewals later this month, it looks like the ball is effectively in the court of ABC and NBC, each without any major early renewals. NBC typically gives out its early passes to next season in March, meaning that the Peacock”s Golden Tickets could be distributed soon, while ABC tends to wait until the week before network upfronts to announce its renewal decisions.

The Following airs Mondays at 9:00 on FOX, with New Girl airing Tuesdays at 9:00 and Brooklyn Nine-Nine Tuesdays at 9:30. The Mindy Project is currently on hiatus and will return with new episodes in April.

The biggest changes come for the network’s Tuesday nights, as The Mindy Project and Dads will be put on hiatus beginning January 28th and February 11th, respectively. On February 4th, Brooklyn Nine-Nine moves to 9:30 to air behind New Girl, where it will stay until its late March finale. Mindy will then return to its slot on April 1st and finish out the season there, with Glee moving to the night on February 25th at 8:00. There’s been no return date set for Dads as of yet.

All the moves that FOX made today carry a certain amount of sense to them – Glee was floundering on Thursdays and has a guaranteed sixth season, so it needed to be moved and could prove to be a good match for New Girl; The Following is their biggest drama right now and giving it the NFL boost will not only help their affiliates, it’ll fight against a sophomore ratings slump; though the network brass love The Mindy Project, and it has a small but loyal fanbase, it hit a series low this past week and doesn’t seem to be benefitting from its time slot; despite its full season order, Dads has been an albatross around the neck of the network and this seems to be a way to guide it to cancellation without having to rescind the 22-episode order. However, the changes will just end up being confusing to the casual viewer with all the show shuffling and FOX has shown itself to be unsure of itself at this point in the season, making that abundantly clear by how quickly they offered a revised version of the schedule they unveiled earlier this fall.

With the annual winter TCA press sessions only a couple of months away, don’t be surprised if more moves are made, in addition to the scheduled announcements of premiere dates for 24, Gang Related, and Wayward Pines.

Titled “All My Problems Solved Forever,” the episode follows Mindy and Casey to Haiti, wherein she promptly gets ill and has to be airlifted back to New York. Meanwhile, Schulman & Associates welcomes a new OB/GYN who happens to be a sex therapist and offers advice on how Danny and Christina can spice up their love life. Will they find anything valid in what he has to say or are they going to write him off for being inappropriate and thinking he knows their dynamic without knowing them personally?

Putting pilots online early has become something of a norm for broadcast networks in recent years, an easy way to build buzz and get shows sampled without having to spend the extra money on marketing. However, season premieres are more rarely released early, so this is likely FOX being confident in the direction The Mindy Project is taking this season after a shaky first season and wanting word to spread that the show has worked out the kinks that kept it from being the critical darling that many thought it would be.

-Former Sportcenter anchor Keith Olbermann has signed on to host a late night talk show for ESPN 2. Beginning Monday, August 26th at 11:00 p.m., the anchor, who has been seen on MSNBC and Current TV, will head Olbermann, said to focus on the day’s relevant sports topics through a mix of perspective and commentary,  interviews, contributors, panel discussions, and highlights.

-James Franco (This is the End) is set to guest star on the first two episodes of The Mindy Project‘s second season. The actor will be playing Dr. Leotard, a former model turned physician who replaces Mindy at Shulman & Associates while she’s volunteering in Haiti.

-The CW will kick off its fall season with the two-night presentation of the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival, beginning September 30th. Scheduled to appear are Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, J. –The View co-host Sherri Shepherd will guest star on How I Met Your Mother‘s final season as a woman sitting next to Marshall on a flight. Her role, which begins in the season premiere, is said to be recurring.

-Composer Bear McCreary has been tapped to serve as series music composer for Starz’s upcoming pirate drama Black Sails, which debuts in January 2014. McCreary’s series credits include Da Vinci’s Demons, Battlestar Galactica, and The Walking Dead.

-ABC has officially renewed Canadian import Rookie Blue for a fifth season. The series currently airs Thursdays at 10:00.

-Per The Hollywood Reporter, Ravenswood has recast the role of Olivia, which had been filled by model Elizabeth Whitson earlier this year. Instead, due to a different character direction and only a week before pilot filming, Merritt Patterson will now play the role. Patterson had previously been cast as Olivia’s best friend and there’s been no word who’ll fill her role as a result of the bump up.

-According to TVLine, the cast of ABC’s soap Mistresses has had their contracts extended through September, meaning that the network is mulling over a potential second season renewal. The season finale is set to air September 9th.

-Nelson Franklin (Veep) has joined CBS’s The Millers as a series regular, while Australian comedian Kate Jenkinson has boarded ABC’s Super Fun Night as a neurotic Type A lawyer.

-FOX debuted a new promo for upcoming cop comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine during last night’s MLB All-Star Game.
