And, Kevin O’Leary follows up on his and Mark Cuban’s recent investment in Groovebook, which tripled its sales in just 5 days after airing earlier this season and also drops by “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” This episode of “Shark Tank” airs FRIDAY, MAY 2 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

SHARK TANK – “Episode 525” – Self-professed wine connoisseur Kevin O’Leary gives advice to a lady from Solano Beach, CA on her lighter, healthier alternative to a full-bodied wine. Likewise, Robert Herjavec has some suggestions for a former merchant marine from Anacortes, WA on his innovative, deep-sea treasure hunting business. Three men from San Francisco, CA hope to paddle their way into a deal with a collapsible kayak that folds up like the traditional Japanese art of origami, and a couple from Pleasant Hill, CA reveal to the Sharks the surprising twist they put into their decadent cinnamon rolls. Agents of SHIELD picks up following the conclusion of the battle of New York, with the public fully aware of the existence of superheroes and aliens. What they don’t know, though, is that Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) has assembled a group of agents from the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division with the intention of going after The Rising Tide, an as-yet-unknown enemy group who could pose a serious threat going forward. Their first task toward bringing down the mysterious organization is to track down a man who has acquired supernatural powers that could leave behind a trail of devastation and destruction, should they fail to act soon enough.

In addition to Gregg, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD stars Ming-Na Wen (SGU Stargate Universe) as Agent Melinda May, an ace pilot and weapons expert; Brett Dalton (Killing Lincoln) as black ops specialist Agent Grant Ward; Chloe Bennet (Intercept) as computer hacker Skye; Iain De Caestecker (The Little Vampire) as Agent Leo Fitz, a technology expert; and Elizabeth Henstridge (Delicacy) as life science specialist Agent Jemma Simmons.

–Oprah’s Lifeclass has officially won the Primetime Emmy for Creative Achievement in Interactive Media – Social TV Experience, a category voted on by a jury of professionals in the relevant peer group. The series finds millions of students all over the world interacting with Winfrey on-air, online, and via social media as they listen to an expert meant to help them live more fulfilling lives. OWN has also doubled the episode order for Tyler Perry’s Love Thy Neighbor, bringing the comedy up to 52 episodes for its first season, and while ordering four more installments of Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots and moving Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse over from TBS beginning Wednesday, September 18th at 9:00.

–True Blood star Stephen Moyer has signed on to star in NBC’s production of The Sound of Music as Captain Georg Van Trapp. The three-hour live event, also starring country music star Carrie Underwood, is set to air December 5th.

-ABC Family has ordered three comedy pilots: Mystery Girls, starring Tori Spelling as a former TV star forced to solve crimes with her mystery TV series co-star; Work Mom, which follows digital marketer Heather as she gets a promotion and hires her mother; and Young & Hungry, about a tech entrepreneur who hires a food blogger as his personal chef. A decision about whether any of these will be picked up to series and join the network’s comedy roster, which includes Baby Daddy and Melissa & Joey, will come early next year.

-Kendrick Lamar leads the way with 14 nominations at the BET Hip Hop Awards, which will air October 15th and be hosted by Snoop Dogg. Other major nominees, which you can see here, include J. Cole, Drake, and Wale.

-Comedian Dave Attell has landed a weekly late-night stand-up series. Yet to be titled, the eight-episode first season will feature comedians performing uncensored and unfiltered sets, with new faces mixed in with familiar favorites. He previously had travelogue Insomniac with Dave Attell on the network, which ran from 2001-2004 and inspired several one-hour specials during its run.

-History has greenlit production on a scripted miniseries based on famed magician Harry Houdini. Starring Adrien Brody and Kristen Connolly, Houdini follows the man as he “finds fame, engages in espionage, battles spiritualists and encounters the greatest names of the era, from U.S. presidents to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Grigori Rasputin.”

-Upcoming ABC Family drama Ravenswood will be given a special new promo during the summer finale of Pretty Little Liars, airing Tuesday. Also, the network will initiate the #RavenswoodReveal challenge, as star Tyler Blackburn will tweet a portion of a photo that holds clues to the series. Once it reaches 1022 retweets, in honors of the show’s October premiere date, one of his four co-stars (Nicole Gale Anderson, Brett Dier, Britne Oldford, and Merritt Patterson) will tweet another part of the photo, looking for 1022 retweets, and so on.

-Syfy has put a new reality series from the producers of Face Off into development. Camera Ready will put ten aspiring costume designers through challenges in creating wardrobe for television, film, and music videos. They’ll be evaluated by Oscar-winning costume designers, cutting-edge directors, and avant-garde fashionistas, with the winner taking home $100,000.

-On September 7th at 9:00, Animal Planet will be holding a countdown of the Top 20 Kitten Moments, with regular interruptions scheduled for glimpses at the Animal Planet L!VE’s Kitten Cam. If you can’t wait, the network has set up an exclusive live stream of the second annual Walker Art Center Internet Cat Video Film Festival, set to begin August 28th at 8:30 p.m. on AnimalPlanet.com/CatVidFest. –Renewals: NBC has ordered a 10-episode second season of Hollywood Game Night, while TBS has renewed Men at Work for a 10-episode third season, Sullivan & Son for a 13-episode third season, and Deal with It for a 10-episode second season. Deon Cole’s Black Box remains the only TBS original with its fate up in the air.

-Fresh off its premiere at the Television Critics Association press tour, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will be screened during D23 Expo 2013, a Disney fan event designed to give access to Disney films, television, and theme parks. About six weeks ahead of its September 24th television premiere, SHIELD is set to screen on Sunday, August 11th at 3:00 p.m. in the D23 Expo Center. The event itself takes place from August 9th-11th at the Anaheim Convention Center.

-Bravo has greenlit Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, about the author of a self-help book navigating her life as a newly single woman in her 40’s in Los Angeles, to pilot. The pilot was written by Marti Noxon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Glee) and becomes the second project currently in development at the network, who recently passed on Rita, a drama starring Anna Gunn as a teacher struggling to balance her three children and chaotic job.

-Former soccer player Juan Pablo Galavis has been named the next Bachelor by ABC. His season of looking for love, and someone to introduce to his daughter Camila, will air this January. He was eliminated during the home visits that recent Bachelorette Desiree made this past season.

-Emmy winner Jaime Pressly (My Name is Earl) has joined TVLand pilot Jennifer Falls, which tells the story of a single mother who gets fired from her job and has to move back in with her mother until she gets on her feet. Pressly will play the title character, a woman who goes from a six-figure position to a waitressing job at her brother’s bar. Her most recent series was FOX’s I Hate My Teenage Daughter, where she co-starred along with Katie Finneran.

-After bowing to its strongest premiere numbers in two years, America’s Next Top Model has bumped two new episodes of Perfect Score, as the second half of its season premiere will be rebroadcast this Friday at 8:00; the first half will now be aired the previous day at 9:00, following a Vampire Diaries repeat. An all-new episode of Top Model, where the first cut is made in the group of 16 contestants, is still set to air Friday, August 9th at 9:00 on The CW. There’s no word on when (or if) the two booted Perfect Score episodes will surface.

-Kanye West will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards for the seventh time this year. The rapper joins Lady Gaga on the 2013 VMA lineup, where he’s scheduled to perform “BLKKK SKKKN HEAD” from his most recent album Yeezus. The 2013 VMAs will air live Sunday, August 25th at 9:00 on MTV.

-CBS midseason drama Intelligence has named Barry Schindel (Law and Order) as showrunner and executive producer. The series, which stars the likes of Josh Holloway (Lost) and Marg Helgenberger (CSI), will premiere Monday, February 24th at 10:00. You can check out a trailer here.

-Netflix has picked up 13th-century adventure series Marco Polo from Starz, the latter having ordered the show straight-to-series in January 2012. However, after little movement following said announcement, Starz released the project, from John Fusco (Hidalgo) and showrunner Dave Erickson (Sons of Anarchy). The nine-episode series, originally slated to film in China, will chronicle the famed explorer’s journey during his early years in the court of Kublai Khan.

–Community‘s Donald Glover is set to write, executive produce and play the lead in a half-hour comedy for FX. The series, tentatively titled Atlanta and currently in development, is set against the backdrop of the Atlanta music scene, which Glover grew up in.

-Issa Rae (The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl) and Larry Wilmore (The Bernie Mac Show) have teamed up for a half-hour comedy currently in development at HBO. The series, starring Rae, is said to focus on the awkward experiences and racy tribulations of a modern day African-American woman.

Blue Bloods
Buffy the Vampire Slayer‘s Marc Blucas has signed on to appear in one episode of the family cop drama as a movie star who goes for a ride-along with Danny to research for a role. However, his secret life gets exposed and he has to cut a deal to help with a case in exchange for Danny’s silence. (Huffington Post)

Bones
John Ratzenberger, who played Cliff on long-running NBC comedy Cheers, is set to appear in the second episode of Bones‘s ninth season as Bill Schumacher, a man at a couples retreat with his wife Ethel. (Entertainment Weekly)

Defiance
James Murray (Primeval) is set to appear as a regular on the next season of the Syfy hit as Niles Pottinger, the shrewd new mayor of Defiance who was appointed by the Earth Republic. Pottinger is described as polished, charming, ruthless, and pragmatic. (Deadline)

Drop Dead Diva
90210 alum Trevor Donovan is set to play the “worst best man ever”, as the groom ends up in a Mexican jail under his watch, on the August 11th summer finale of the Lifetime dramedy. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Elementary
Smash alum Jeremy Jordan will appear in an October episode as Joey Castoro, the son of the surgical patient who died in Watson’s care who comes back into Joan’s orbit with an unusual request. Additionally, Lynn Collins (True Blood) is set to appear on the CBS procedural as a math professor who helps Holmes and Watson in a case involving dead mathematicians. (TVLine)

Hart of Dixie
Josh Cooke has landed a recurring role as a New Yorker struggling to adjust to BlueBell. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Hawaii Five-0
In a role with the potential to recur, Tim Daly will play a Texas ranger with a missing daughter in one installment of the series, which relocates to Friday this season. (TVLine)

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD
David Conrad is the latest to join the secretive drama from ABC in a role with no announced character details. However, due to casting notices, there’s a chance he’ll be playing a brilliant and quirky scientist. (TVLine)

Mom
Justin Long will guest star as the main character’s (played by Anna Faris) first attempt at a romantic relationship following rehab, while Octavia Spencer is set to portray a woman with bigger problems than the main character.  (TVLine)

Nashville
Oliver Hudson is set to play a “charming, audacious, take-no-prisoners businessman” who begins working at Edgehill Records on the second season of the ABC soap. There’s no word on how many episodes he’ll appear in, but the role is said to be recurring. (Vulture)

Open
Anna Torv and Jennifer Jason Leigh have signed on to the Ryan Murphy HBO drama pilot and will play a lesbian couple (a yoga instructor and an actress, respectively) dealing with outside attractions. (Deadline)

Raising Hope
Jeffrey Tambor will portray Arnold, a resident of Natesville who starts popping up in the lives of everybody in the Chance family. He joins Molly Shannon in guest starring on the comedy, heading into its fourth season this fall. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Saint George
Danny Trejo has been cast in the upcoming FX comedy as the uncle of the main character (played by George Lopez), a construction worker who serves as a drinking buddy and mirror for those around him. Additionally, the series has added Jenn Lyon and Kaden Gibson as the main character’s ex-wife and 11-year-old son, respectively. (The Hollywood Reporter; Deadline)

Sherlock
Lars Mikkelsen will play Charles Augustus Magnussen, the newest villain on the BBC/PBS crime drama. No character details have been released as of yet. (Vulture)

This season, ABC opted for a more concentrated approach to premiering their programming, as they were still launching series in late October last season. Now, though, they have a few on either side of Premiere Week and will focus their attention on premiering a fair amount of their programming together. Interestingly, they’ll be facing the entirety of the CBS lineup during Premiere Week, which could eat into the live numbers for both networks and show why a staggered approach might be best for all involved.

Agents of SHIELD will be having its panel, featuring Whedon and Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb, on Friday, July 19th, while also being featured heavily at the Marvel Entertainment Booth all weekend. Meanwhile, Saturday, July 20th sees both Once Upon a Time and Wonderland being spotlighted, thanks to autograph sessions, panels, and press interviews featuring the casts of both shows. Fans of the show will also be able to ride in several ABC branded pedicabs made to resemble the likes of the Evil Queen’s carriage, The Jolly Roger, and Alice’s magical mushroom.

ABC’s three shows will join Twentieth Century’s 11 series, including Sons of Anarchy, Sleepy Hollow, and Bob’s Burgers, as well as Starz’s pirate drama Black Sails, in heading to the convention. Details for all, including times, panel locations, panel activities, and special guests, will be announced at a later date. Also to be announced are the shows that will be coming to the convention from other networks, as the likes of Syfy, NBC, and The CW have yet to reveal any details about their Comic-Con plans for this year. Expect announcements from them, and several other networks, in the coming weeks.

The 2013 edition of San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 17th (a preview night) through July 21st. You can check out ABC’s 2013 fall schedule here, as well as trailers for all 12 of its upcoming new series here.
