2 BROKE GIRLS (8:00-8:30 PM)
When Caroline (Beth Behrs) discovers that Max (Kat Dennings) didn’t graduate high school, she decides to help her best friend get her degree and reconnect with her estranged mother.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 7
CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (10:00-11:00 PM)
The CSIs investigate a present-day crime with ties to a mob heist that occurred 25 years ago, and Brass has to make a decision when his daughter attempts suicide. Treat Williams guest stars.

THURSDAY, MAY 8
Two and a Half Men (9:01-9:31 PM)
Alan confesses his true identity to Larry (D.B. Sweeney), who continues to bless Alan’s wedding to his sister, Gretchen (Kimberly Williams-Paisley). With the wedding comes one surprise after another, including a big one from Gretchen. Country music star Brad Paisley, Williams-Paisley’s real-life husband, guest stars.

FRIDAY, MAY 9
HAWAII FIVE-0 (9:00-10:00 PM)
Evil genius Ian Wright (Nick Jonas) resurfaces and uses Grover’s (Chi McBride) daughter as bait in order to get him to steal $100 million for him. Meanwhile, Wo Fat (Mark Dacascos) escapes prison and unexpectedly returns to Oahu.

BLUE BLOODS (10:00-11:00 PM)
When Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) disobeys orders and investigates a case he was told was off-limits, he uncovers shocking information that he shares with Frank (Tom Selleck) that could have enormous repercussions within the department.

TUESDAY, MAY 13
NCIS (8:00-9:00 PM)
The NCIS team investigates whether a fire on a U.S. Navy ship, which also served as a detention site for terrorists who had been indicted, was accidental or an intentional diversion for prisoner escape. Meanwhile, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) travels home following news about his father’s passing, played by the late Ralph Waite. The episode is a tribute to both the character and the actor.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES (9:00-10:01 PM)
When the NCIS: Los Angeles team and DEA uncover the cartel’s plans to slyly transport billions of dollars’ worth of cocaine from Colombia to the U.S. using a submarine, Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL COOL J) must quickly locate the missing vessel. Meanwhile, Hetty (Linda Hunt) is called to Washington in the aftermath of the controversial mission in Afghanistan.

PERSON OF INTEREST (10:01-11:00 PM)
The team takes desperate action in its race to prevent the malevolent AI program Samaritan from coming online and making them its first targets. Meanwhile, the months-long battle with the anti-surveillance terrorist group Vigilance comes to a shocking conclusion.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 14
CRIMINAL MINDS (9:00-10:00 PM)
As a team member clings to life, the BAU continues its investigation in Texas where they uncover a deep web of corruption, and Garcia is thrust into action to save a friend. Esai Morales returns.

The futures of Florrick/Agos and Lockhart/Gardner are at stake when the firms consider merging, driving a wedge between Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Cary (Matt Czuchry). Meanwhile, Diane (Christine Baranski) makes a big decision when Louis Canning (guest star Michael J. Fox) challenges her role at her firm.

THE MENTALIST (10:00-11:00 PM)
A new lead in a cold case requires Lisbon (Robin Tunney) to delay her plans to leave for Washington, D.C., giving Jane (Simon Baker) time to finally come to terms with his feelings for her and decide on a course of action.

MONDAY, MAY 19
MIKE & MOLLY (9:00-9:30 PM)
Molly’s thrilled when she is accepted into an elite eight-week writer’s workshop in Iowa, but when Mike asks her not to go and leave him for the entire summer, Molly questions whether or not to pass up her opportunity of a lifetime.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 21
SURVIVOR (8:00-10:00 PM)
Four Castaways remain and one will be crowned the Sole Survivor during the two-hour season finale, followed by the Live Reunion Show (10:00-11:00 PM), hosted by Emmy Award-winning host Jeff Probst.

On the drama side, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Person of Interest, CSI, Hawaii: Five-0, Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, Elementary, and The Good Wife will be returning next season, with The Mentalist, Intelligence, and Hostages left of the renewal flurry.

On the comedy side, 2 Broke Girls, The Millers, Mike & Molly, Mom, and Two and a Half Men will join The Big Bang Theory on the network’s slate for next season. Not receiving a renewal at this time was The Crazy Ones, which has noticeably softened in the ratings in recent weeks. CBS will be premiering two additional comedies (Friends with Better Lives and Bad Teacher) before the end of the season.

In the world of alternative programming, The Amazing Race and Undercover Boss got picked up for next season, joining already renewed Survivor, while 60 Minutes and 48 Hours will also be returning.

Last season, CBS cancelled every series that didn’t receive a renewal in March aside from those that were embroiled in contract negotiations (Criminal Minds and Two and a Half Men), so it’s not a good sign for those that didn’t receive a renewal this go-around. They’re not necessarily dead, but shows like The Crazy Ones and The Mentalist are going to have to overperform for the rest of the season if they have any hope of earning a shot on the schedule.

CBS will be unveiling its schedule for next season, which will include Thursday Night Football, on Wednesday, May 14th.

The Bad Teacher move will be preceded by The Crazy Ones and Two and a Half Men flipping time slots, with the former concluding its first season on April 17th. The time slot change will occur on February 27th. Meanwhile, Undercover Boss, which has been performing well for CBS, will conclude its 15-episode season on Friday, March 27th, making way for the recently resurrected drama starring Poppy Montgomery. It’s the first time CBS has had a drama in this particular hour since A Gifted Man in 2011.

Not receiving a premiere date was legal drama Reckless, which has effectively been pushed to summer. Bad Teacher is in an interesting position in that it only has three weeks to make a positive ratings impression on CBS executives before the network has its upfronts presentations in May. Airing behind Two and a Half Men could give it the boost necessary to earn an early second season renewal, but since CBS held it for so long anyway, they might see what it can do in the summer before making a final decision. Meanwhile, The Crazy Ones got the move that it should have earlier in the season, as the Robin Williams comedy has been struggling to hold up the 9:00 hour while being the only single camera comedy in the lineup and airing after The Millers, one of the most tonally incompatible comedies it could have been paired with. Whether the move will allow it to feed off of Men‘s audience, though, remains to be seen.

The comedy king and the writer and producer of the most popular comedy series, Chuck Lorre is the recipient of the ‘Norman Lear Achievement Award’ in Television at the Producers Guild Awards Ceremony, to be held in Los Angeles on Jan. 19, 2014, at the Beverly Hilton.

Chick Lorre is widely known for the most terrific Sitcoms of today, including The Big Bang Theory, Mile & Molly, Mom and Two and a Half Men. Lorre said that Norman Lear is legendary and the comedy king in the truest sense and that he is highly intimidated and awestruck, being in the same room as him. When he learnt about the honor, Lorre said that he is deeply honored to be associated with the legend’s name and expressed his gratitude towards the Producer Guild who is honoring him with such extraordinary recognition.

The former winners of this award constitute of popular names like Tom Hanks, J.J. Abrams, Lorne Michaels, David E. Kelley, Steven Bochco, Dick Wolf and numerous others and most importantly the debut recipient of this awards, the legend, Norman Lear himself.

The co-chairs of the PGA Awards, Michael De Luca and Lori McCreary said in a statement that Chuck Lorre, having created some of the most iconic TV shows of the present time, including Two and a Half Men, Dharma & Greg and The Big Bang Theory, to name a few, truly deserves this honor. They further stated that Lorre’s shows have revolutionized the entire Television Landscape in the past decade and that is what makes him the most deserving contender for this prestigious award.

Leiner, who is a winner of 12 Emmy Awards, will reappear in the Chuck Lorre comedy as the producer named Marty Pepper and will be seen in the Season 11, second episode. The episode which has the title, ‘I Think I Banged Lucille Ball’ will be aired on October 3rd, 2013 in which Charlie Harper’s (Charlie Sheen) long lost lesbian daughter Jenny, a role played by Amber Tamblyn, will be seen moving in with her Grand Mom, Evelyn, played by Holland Taylor, resulting in Walden (Ashton Kutcher) feeling uncomfortable with the crowd in his home.

 Both, Reiner and Taylor will be seen for multiple-episode run this eleventh season, which has helped the much-loved Chuck Lorre’s comedy series move to a new time slot of Thursdays, 9:30 pm.
