Baby Daddy Season 3 Finale Spoilers: Ben and Riley Make a Discovery

The only people who aren’t at least a little clued in to Danny’s feelings for Riley are Ben and Riley herself, as the former’s self-absorption and the latter’s bad experience with Wheeler men, as well as her inability to view Danny in another light, have kept them from seeing what was right in front of them. With Danny doing everything to keep from letting Riley know that he wants to be with her, this time due to her recent breakup with Philip and his new relationship with Georgie, it’s going to take her stumbling onto something that indicates that her best friend wants to be more than her friend and that she’s been oblivious about the state of their friendship for quite a long time.

Wednesday, May 28th – “Baby Steps”
Ben can’t wait to see Emma take her first steps and tries everything to get her to toddle before he has to go to work. But when even the bribery of food doesn’t motivate his daughter to move, Ben reluctantly gives up and leaves. However, as luck would have it, Emma makes a beeline for Uncle Danny as soon as her father is out the door. As Bonnie, Tucker, Danny, and Riley scheme to make sure Ben doesn’t miss this major milestone, everyone reminisces about how far they’ve come as parents since the tot entered their lives.

Wednesday, June 4th – “Foos It or Lose It”
Bonnie decides to baby-proof the apartment and sells the foosball table to struggling fraternity Sigma Beta Kappa, unaware that Ben had been hiding money in the table for Emma’s college fund. Ben and Tucker pose as pledges in order to get the money back, but their fake identities cause more trouble than they’re worth. Meanwhile, Riley is not happy that Danny is dating Georgie (Mallory Jansen), especially because she blames the Brit for ending her relationship with Philip. But when Georgie secures Riley an interview for the in-house counsel job at Vogue, Riley begins to look at her rival in a new light – at least until she overhears Georgie admitting the interview was bogus. Riley can’t wait to tell Danny the truth about his deceptive girlfriend, but can she really break her best friend’s heart?

Wednesday, June 11th – “All Aboard the Love Train”
Riley plans to attend her family reunion in Orlando, but since she hates to fly, she decides to take the train instead. Ben realizes this trip is the perfect opportunity to rekindle their romance and volunteers to tag along. However, when Riley thinks he’s only after one thing, Ben manages to convince her that his feelings are genuine. Can she bring herself to trust him with her heart once again? Meanwhile, Tucker has the chance to be Mary Hart’s co-host and asks Bonnie for help with his audition tape. But when Mary decides to give Bonnie the job instead, Tucker is forced to play dirty in order to eliminate the competition.

Wednesday, June 18th – “You Can’t Go Home Again” (Season Finale)
Bonnie is livid when her former New Jersey neighborhood resurrects the Block Party Olympics that she created and declares war. Seeking vengeance like only Bonnie can, she drafts everyone to crash the gathering, win all the events and put an end to the party once and for all. While visiting the Wheelers’ old tree house, Riley and Ben are surprised when they find Danny’s childhood expression of love. Meanwhile, Danny learns Georgie (Mallory Jansen) is moving to Paris and realizes this could be the perfect opportunity to put some distance between himself and Riley. But given her recent discovery, what will Riley do when she learns Danny might be leaving? Is it too late for Riley and Danny to start a romantic relationship, or does her heart still belong to Ben?

Baby Daddy Season 3 Spoilers: Riley Tries to Find Her Biological Father

Riley’s entire world was turned upside down when she learned that her mother Jennifer was really her aunt Jennifer and her aunt Margot was really her mother. Riley’s identity and sense of self were heavily shaped by Jennifer’s influence that learning that the woman she thought was her mother isn’t could really do some damage to who she thinks she is and how she views her past. Although Riley will have to deal with nearly three decades of betrayal and deception from those she loved and trusted the most, she now has an opportunity to learn about her past and find out who her biological parents really were. That is, if she’s able to track down her birth father.

Wednesday, April 23rd – “Livin’ On a Prom”
Bonnie is tired of not being appreciated for everything she does for the boys and Emma and decides to go on strike. When it’s quickly obvious they can’t survive without her, Ben realizes the best way back into his mom’s good graces is to take her to the Bon Jovi concert. But when Tucker unknowingly buys fake tickets, Bonnie must get through time in Bon Jovi jail, a tough security guard (Gary Anthony Williams), and a little dilemma in the green room if she hopes to meet her idol. Meanwhile, Riley and Danny return to their high school to chaperone prom and run into Vice Principal Peters (Kim Coles), who’s still inappropriately enamored with Danny.

Wednesday, April 30th – “From Here to Paternity”
Now that Riley knows the truth about Margot, she decides to find her biological father and uses her parents’ high school yearbook as a guide. With a little help from Ben, Riley narrows down the possible candidates to David (David DeLuise), the easygoing pastry chef, and Mark (Adam Harrington), the high-powered attorney. But despite some initial deception and old teenage rivalries resurfacing, Riley finally learns her father’s identity. Meanwhile, Tucker is not happy about his parents’ divorce and realizes the source of their problems is that Marshall (Philip Morris) is too uptight. But when Danny asks his mom to help Mr. Dobbs loosen up, Bonnie takes the challenge to a whole new level.

Ben getting Emma in the way he did and having to be her sole provider has made him a bit more sensitive and obsessive over her needs than he would have expected. Before she arrived on his door step, Ben was a selfish playboy who didn’t know how to (or want to) commit to anything or anyone; he didn’t take anything seriously and let his id take charge more often than most adults his age would. While that might have been fun for a while, he realized that he wasn’t fulfilled and taking care of Emma for the past year has taught him more about being a man than the past several years of his life combined did. As both a celebration of his first year on this planet and the personal growth that he’s experienced in that time, Ben becomes determined to give his little girl the best birthday party he could, but what could get in the way of her good time?

Danny accidentally discovers something about Riley’s family that turns her world upside down. A lovesick Bonnie realizes how much she misses her ex-boyfriend Brad (Peter Porte) and turns to Tucker for help reuniting with her true love. But when Brad confesses that he still has feelings for Bonnie, Ben’s well-intentioned but misguided advice leads Brad to make a rash decision. Riley wants to have the relationship with Margot (Amanda Detmer) she never had with her adoptive mom, but first Riley must learn to appreciate Margot for who she is, flaws and all. Meanwhile, Danny must stop Riley from taking the next step with Philip.

Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy Renewed by ABC Family

ABC Family has announced that Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy have been renewed, which will bringing the former past the 100 episode mark and the latter into its fourth season. The two have provided a solid foundation for the ABC Family comedy brand and will be joined by Young & Hungry and Mystery Girls beginning this summer.

The network also revealed that it’s ordered three drama pilots in contention for next year. With disappointing ratings performances from the likes of Twisted, The Lying Game, and Ravenswood, ABC Family has veered away from the teen mystery genre, as this latest development cycle features three shows removed from the Pretty Little Liars vein.

Based on the novel of the same name by Blake Nelson, Recovery Road tells the story of party girl Maddie, who spends her nights living with other addicts in a rehab facility and her days pretending everything is okay while at school. The pilot was written by Bert V. Royal (Easy A) and Karen DiConcetto (Ruby & The Rockits). Exploring the world of professional tennis is Unstrung, which focuses on siblings Luke and Ellie Holt as they fight to move up the rankings and stave off the pressure from fans, reporters, opponents, and themselves. Emily Whitesell (Life Unexpected) will executive produce. Finally, Alice in Arabia, from former US Army Cryptologic Linguist Brooke Eikmeier, details a kidnapping of an American girl by her Saudi Arabian extended family and how she handles being held captive in her grandfather’s royal compound.

Melissa & Joey airs Wednesdays at 8:00 on ABC Family, with Baby Daddy following at 8:30. You can check out spoilers from the latter here.

Baby Daddy Season 3 Spoilers: Ben Gets Set Up by Bonnie

With Riley getting back out into the dating world and choosing to move on from her relationship with Ben, it seems like it’s time for Ben to put aside his guilt from how their relationship ended and try to find some companionship himself. He’s never had a problem meeting and hooking up with girls, but Ben is at an age where he’s not looking for something quick and easy anymore; he wants to find something real, something that will last, and something that will help him move on from Riley. However, as much as he loves his mother and as good as her intentions might be, it’s probably not the best idea for him to accept a fix-up from Bonnie, considering that her taste in women likely isn’t in line with her son’s.

Wednesday, March 19th – “Go Brit or Go Home”
Ben is less than thrilled when Riley asks him to hang out with her new boyfriend, Philip (Christopher O’Shea), but he reluctantly agrees once Riley plays the friendship card. However, the man-date goes horribly wrong when Ben’s harmless flirting with a student puts Philip’s job at the college – and his visa – in jeopardy. Danny’s hockey playing is criticized by a sports reporter, Logan (Courtney Parks), but that doesn’t stop him from hitting on her, prompting a horrified Bonnie to embrace her inner enforcer and take matters into her own hands. Meanwhile, Tucker discovers the power of the British accent.

Wednesday, March 26th – “An Affair Not to Remember”
A horrified Ben realizes that he dated Tucker’s new girlfriend, Stephanie (Kelsey Chow), and is convinced she’s only with Tucker to get back at Ben for their bad break-up. Riley is delighted when her boss, Ms. Jensen (Kym Whitley), finally asks her to participate in the firm’s spa day, but her joy is short-lived when Bonnie is also included in the outing. Riley knows Bonnie will embarrass her and ruin her chances at making partner, so she tries to disinvite Bonnie and enlists Stephanie to be her plus-one instead. But when the boys crash their spa day in a misguided attempt to save Tucker’s relationship, it’s a case of mistaken identity when the very intimidating masseuse (Dot Marie Jones) puts them to work.

Wednesday, April 2nd – “The Wingmom”
Bonnie sets Ben up with Bailey (Bailey Buntain), a fast-talking, animated spitfire with plenty of attitude. Everything seems to be going well until Ben realizes his new girlfriend is a mini version of his mother and he has to break up with her. However, Bailey refuses to be dismissed so easily, and Ben resorts to desperate measures to get her out of his life once and for all. Meanwhile, Danny pulls his dad’s beloved car out of storage, but it’s a bumpy start for “Adele the Chevelle” once Tucker and Riley get a hold of the keys.

Baby Daddy Season 3 Spoilers: Has Riley Found The One?

Although a part of her still has feelings for Ben, and always will carry something for him, Riley has been looking toward moving on following their breakup. If she had someone else in her life, she would be able to move on from what happened and not allow the dissolution of her relationship with Ben to eat away at her. This was something that she wanted to happen for years and now that it’s over, she has to move forward or risk becoming stuck, always counting on things with Ben to eventually resume rather than living her life the way that she should. But how would meeting somebody impact her friendships with the guys? Could she and Ben remain friends if one of them gets into a serious relationship?

Wednesday, February 26th – “Romancing the Phone”

But when Sydney takes a liking to the real Tucker and asks him out, Ben is determined to prove she’s interested in the wrong guy. Riley meets up with an old frenemy, Heather (Cassie Scerbo), and enlists Danny in her plan to prove to Heather once and for all that she’s a winner. Meanwhile, Bonnie asks for Tucker’s help in coming up with a catchy new slogan for her realty business, but things quickly go awry when she starts getting offers from guys interested in buying more than a home.

Riley bets Ben that he can’t get a second date with Heather. He gladly accepts the challenge, but when Heather doesn’t jump at the chance to go out with him again, Ben resorts to desperate measures. Bonnie decides to break up with Brad, but when her realtor boyfriend declares his love, she can’t bring herself to go through with it and asks Danny to end the relationship instead. Further complicating things as only Bonnie can, her love life takes another twist when she unknowingly falls for Brad’s father (Bruce Thomas). Meanwhile, Tucker uses Emma to pick up women.

Wednesday, March 12th – “A Knight to Remember”
Tucker still hasn’t told his dad that he’s not a lawyer, which proves to be a problem when Marshall Dobbs (Philip Morris) unexpectedly arrives for a visit. Tucker and Ben devise a plan to keep the charade going, but it eventually backfires when Marshall learns the truth. Riley falls for a handsome Brit (Christopher O’Shea) she meets at the bar and tells Bonnie that she finally found “the one”; however, Bonnie mistakenly believes that Riley is talking about Danny and immediately encourages him to go after his true love. Meanwhile, the group’s trip to the renaissance faire hits a snag when a sword fight breaks out in the subway.

Baby Daddy Season 3 Spoilers: Bonnie Drags Riley on a Double Date

Riley and Ben came to the mutual understanding that while they’re not ready to be in a relationship with one another just yet, it’s a possibility one day in the future. Until then, they have to begin rebuilding their friendship following what ended up being a painful, confusing breakup that nearly destroyed a decades-long friendship in the process. Also on the agenda is the issue of moving on to other people; as she’s been in love with Ben for years, Riley will have the most difficult time transitioning from being Ben’s girlfriend to being his friend once again, but in her case, it might be better to get out in the dating world sooner rather than wallow in her sadness or insecurity. She’ll regain her self-confidence this way and there’s a chance that maybe, just maybe, she’ll meet someone who can take her mind off Ben once and for all.

But when Riley’s away, Piper will play, and Danny and Tucker find themselves tangled up in her wild child ways. Wednesday, February 12th – “Life’s a Beach”
When Ben’s rooftop beach gets shut down by the current apartment Board President, Sondra (Rachna Khatau), the boys campaign to overthrow her and preside over the building themselves. The only problem is they have to decide who has the best chance to win the election, which won’t easy given their spotty history with the other tenants. Meanwhile, Bonnie drags Riley on a double date with her boyfriend Brad (Peter Porte) and his twin Tad (Peter Porte), but it doesn’t take long until the ladies suspect that Brad has made Tad up in order to escape accusations of infidelity.

Baby Daddy Season 3 Spoilers: Angela Tries to Spend Time with Emma

Angela”s reappearance into Ben”s life will almost assuredly have an impact on Emma”s custody, as she wants to spend time with the daughter she abandoned and prove to both herself and Ben that she can be a good mother, that she deserves the opportunity to get to know Emma. However, Angela showing up after vanishing is going to potentially have an even greater impact on Ben”s life away from Emma, which she completely upended by leaving the baby on his doorstep in the pilot episode of Baby Daddy. Ben”s spent the duration of the series trying to become a better father while not allowing fatherhood to become his sole trait; included in that is his new relationship with Riley, taken to the next level following a years-long friendship. Even the strongest romantic relationship would be tested by something like Angela”s reappearance, but can Ben and Riley weather the storm and emerge on the other side more committed than ever?

Wednesday, January 22nd – “The Lying Game”
Angela has been crashing in the boys” apartment, trying to spend more time with Emma and get closer to Ben. Her presence puts strain on Ben and Riley”s relationship, but Ben doesn”t have the heart – or the guts – to ask her to leave. Tucker plots to show Riley that Angela is trying to steal her man and Danny decides that the only way he can heal his broken heart is to get his own apartment. Meanwhile, Bonnie begins dating a younger man.

Wednesday, January 29th – “Lights! Camera! No Action!”
Ben catches Riley in a compromising position with her ex-boyfriend Fitch (Matt Dallas), which leads to a massive blow-out between the two. Danny worries that the combination of his low stats and his Rangers jersey not selling in stores means his future with the team is in jeopardy. Tucker gets a job assisting Mary Hart on her new talk show, “The Mary Hart Show,” and sets his sights on becoming a producer. Bonnie convinces Tucker to have Danny as a guest on the show to increase his popularity, but when Mary digs a little too deep into Danny”s personal life, he has an emotional meltdown.

ABC Family has announced that Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy will be having their winter premieres on Wednesday, January 15th. While Joe makes a rash decision when he finds out that Austin wants to give things another try with Mel, Ben and Riley try to acclimate to life as a couple with expectedly embarrassing results.

Melissa & Joey – 8:00
In picking up where the summer cliff-hanger left off, Joe rushes home to tell Mel that he has feelings for her after their romantic night together in New Jersey. When he arrives, he’s shocked to find Austin (guest star Trevor Donovan) has shown up and wants to give his relationship with Mel another try. Deciding he can’t stay and watch them fall in love all over again, Joe quits. Meanwhile, Lennox plots to get Joe and Mel together and Ryder gets sick from his own cooking.

Baby Daddy – 8:30 (“The Naked Truth”)
