Looking Spoilers: Dom Looks to Start a Restaurant

For years, Dom dreamed of opening his own restaurant and getting himself out of the endless tedium that is waiting tables, but once he forked over the $8,000 for Ethan to get sober, his dream became a lot less attainable and thus, his motivation to change his life dwindled. As much as Dom hates being at the restaurant and not progressing in the way that he would like, he’s been beaten down enough by time to where pushing himself to do something that seems impossible is a lot more difficult than it was a decade ago; he’s aware of what he’s wasted in staying stagnant and he knows that there’s so much to do before he realistically has a shot at achieving his dreams. However, once he stood up for himself against Ethan and let out the feelings he had internalized for the past eight years, things might not look so daunting as they once did.

Saturday, February 1st – “Looking at Your Browser History”
At a video-game launch party aboard an aircraft carrier, Patrick (Jonathan Groff) and his coworker Owen (Andrew Law) meet Kevin (Russell Tovey), a gay Brit who turns out to be Patrick’s new boss. Reinvigorated after his verbal beatdown of Ethan (Derek Ray), Dom (Murray Bartlett) tells Doris (Lauren Weedman) about his plans to start a Portuguese-chicken restaurant. Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez) is fired by Stina (Ann Magnuson) after opining that her chair sculpture is lame, but his outlook on art and life gets a lift when he meets CJ (TJ Linnard), a sex worker.

Taking a break from working in the office on a Sunday, Patrick and Kevin connect while chatting about relationships, but are interrupted by a call from Kevin’s boyfriend. Later, Agustín, Doris. and Dom’s coworker Hugo (Ptolemy Slocum) take in the leather-filled sights of the Folsom Street Fair, and convince Patrick to join them. Dom asks Lynn (Scott Bakula) to lunch, but it’s not clear whether it’s for a date or to talk business. Agustín finds CJ at the Fair and considers “hiring” him for an art project.

Frustrated with the progress of his project, Agustín invites CJ to the birthday picnic, where he and Frank (O-T Fagbenle) finally cross paths.
