lookingPatrick only had one boyfriend before he and Richie made things official and that kind of inexperience at his age is usually a sign of something deeper. In his case, it’s that he’s still somewhat uncomfortable with his sexuality and that he’s prone to acting on how he think he should be vs. who he actually is, especially when it comes to making decisions about how he presents himself in public. Patrick views being gay as something to make up for, motivation to find somebody with the type of social standing to make his parents forget about the fact that he’s gay, which has put a damper on his relationship with Richie, who is secure in his sexuality and has no plans of becoming the type of man that Patrick thinks he needs. Richie knows and loves himself and Patrick will have to make peace with the fact that Richie isn’t going to be the high-powered, corporate San Franciscan of his parents’ dreams. What he is, though, is a charming, caring man who will make Patrick more comfortable with himself and that might be more impressive to Patrick’s parents than any fancy title Richie could acquire.

Listed below are the dates, titles, descriptions, and encore information for the final two episodes of Looking‘s first season.
