Originally slated to premiere Monday, September 29th, the Chuck Lorre comedy won’t be returning until Thursday, October 30th at 8:30, where it will be following The Big Bang Theory. The Millers, meanwhile, will have its premiere pushed up from October 30th to Monday, October 20th at 8:30; the Greg Garcia comedy will get one week behind The Big Bang Theory before having 2 Broke Girls assume the lead-in position on October 27th.

Instead of Mom, CBS will be airing reruns of The Big Bang Theory at 8:30 on Mondays until The Millers premieres. The move is to give Scorpion the biggest lead-in possible without using up the Big Bang originals necessary to launch the network’s Thursday lineup next month. However, the Mom/Millers switch isn’t permanent, as both shows will return to their previously slated time slots on January 5th and 8th, respectively.

The best case scenario here is that Big Bang encores steady Scorpion, Mom benefits from the additional Big Bang exposure, and The Millers provides a steady enough presence to keep Mondays from faltering. There are some worrisome aspects to the plan, though, as 2 Broke Girls is one of the network’s weaker lead-ins, The Millers is a time slot hit, and the constant shuffling of shows will do nothing to set viewer patterns this early in the season. When people are still trying to figure out what to watch when, moving shows back and forth doesn’t seem like the best strategy, even if there is sound logic for each individual move. Collectively, they could easily test the loyalty of the CBS audience and threaten to halt what momentum Mom has garnered in the off season and the promising start that Scorpion got off to this past Monday.

You can check out a summary of the CBS moves below.

Do you think this scheduling will work out for CBS? Where do you think Mike & Molly fits into the equation? Could this end up backfiring on CBS and damaging Mom, The Millers, and Scorpion?

Mondays through October 13th
In total, the network is going to have four series conclude their runs this season before May sweeps begins, as already renewed Mom ends April 14th and The Crazy Ones gets a one-hour finale April 17th. Also of note, Survivor will be concluding on a Wednesday rather than a Sunday for the first time in a decade. while CBS Tuesdays will be the rare night where every show ends the same date (May 13th) and The Amazing Race gets a one-hour finale rather than a typical two-hour edition.

Finale dates for the likes of Friends with Better Lives and Bad Teacher have yet to be released, likely due to the fact that they’ll be running into the summer. You can get a look at the full list of CBS 2013-2014 finale dates below.

Do you think CBS should have allowed How I Met Your Mother to air into May? Will any of the currently unrenewed shows (The Crazy Ones, The Mentalist, Intelligence) be renewed for next season? Should more networks allow full nights of programming to end on the same date?

Known for her role in The Big Bang Theory as Penny, Cuoco got engaged to tennis player Ryan Sweeting in September after merely few months of dating. The couple got married at Santa Susana, Calif.’s Hummingbird Nest Ranch, in the presence of 150 guests. The 28-year old Cuoco looked stunningly beautiful in her pink tulle Vera Wang wedding gown.

In November last year, Kaley Cuoco appeared on Ellen and openly shared her relationship with 26-year old Sweeting. On the show she said, “Life is so good right now, I cannot even tell you”. She also shared that both of them bonded really well from the second day of their courtship and that she was so much convinced of their relationship, it was quite unbelievable.

Well, our heartiest congratulations to ‘The Tweetings’, may we all find love like this!

TV. Johnny is teaming with Stephen McPherson, popularly known as the former chief of ABC Entertainment and who is partners with Fox and Lionsgate in TV Return.

Fox has bought this comedy series from writer Ricky Blitt, the plot of which is based on a diminutive, 30 year old guy, living with his mother. He lives by his own rules, when one fine day, his perfect world gets totally disrupted. His mother decides to get married and the story doesn’t end here, his new step-dad brings home, his three teenage kids, to move in with them. Those sure sounds like a good fun series, what do you think?

This promising project is very special for Galecki as it brings him back with Blitt, for whom he starred in his show called Becoming Glen, a Fox Comedy back in the year 2002. Ricky is the writer of the show, who came up with the idea and developed it further with Galecki. In fact, the lead character of Here’s your damn family has some shades of the character Galecki played in Blitt’s former series Becoming Glen. Along with Warner Bros TV, the other producers of the show are Candy Bar Productions, Wonder Monkey and Galecki.

Here’s you Damn Family is McPherson’s third successful attempt with Fox in this busy season of development. He is also geared up to produce another comedy from Kate Gersten, a Julliard Grad student and a half-hour set u from an aspiring writer, Brandon Schwartz.

However, Galecki is the first among his Big Bang team to step into the producer’s shoes, as Kevin Sussman (Stuart) and John Ross Bowie (Kripke) had set up a comedy called The Second Coming of Bob, aired on CBS network last year.

Taking home individual honors were Louis C.K. for the third season of FX comedy Louie and Tatiana Maslany for the several roles she plays in BBC America’s Orphan Black. While this is C.K.’s second consecutive win in the category, it was Maslany’s first nomination, though she won a Critics’ Choice Television Award earlier this summer.

Among the three major program categories, Breaking Bad was named Program of the Year, reigning Program of the Year winner Game of Thrones earned honors for Outstanding Achievement in Drama, and there was a tie for the comedy equivalent, as The Big Bang Theory and Parks and Recreation will share the award. Meanwhile, Bunheads took home the award for Outstanding Achievement in Youth Programming shortly after its cancellation, Shark Tank won for Outstanding Reality Programming, and The Americans picked up Outstanding New Programming.

A full list of nominees and winners is below.
