Devious Maids Season 2 Finale Preview: Spence and Rosie Tie the Knot

Rosie’s feelings for Spence never went away while she was working for the Miller family, not even when Reggie claimed that he said some not exactly flattering things about her. She might have been angry at Spence for his perceived slights or frustrated with herself that she couldn’t move on, but she never stopped loving him, making him a logical place for her to turn after her relationship with Reggie ended. With Spence still working to put his alcohol troubles behind him, he might not be the most stable person in Rosie’s life, but he’s someone that she needs right now, a bit of comfort after an extremely trying experience.

On the second season finale of Devious Maids, the swell of feelings from their reunion causes Rosie and Spence to rush down the aisle. While there’s a whole other angle to their union in Rosie’s vulnerable immigration status and Reggie’s promise to send her and Miguel back to Mexico, this is less green card wedding and more a marriage of two people who love one another, with a twist. Rosie gets to be with the man she fell for and insure that Miguel gets to grow up in America like she wanted, while Spence gets a source of stability in Rosie and someone to always keep him grounded, never allowing the Hollywood business he has to deal with to impact him. However, in the world of Devious Maids, love is never easy and on what could be the happiest day for Spence and Rosie might wind up being marked by tragedy.

Elsewhere on Devious Maids, Nicholas finally admits his secret to Marisol, while Zoila receives word about Pablo being a match for Genevieve, a mysterious stranger approaches Carmen regarding her music career, and Valentina gets offered the opportunity of a lifetime.

The second season finale of Devious Maids airs Sunday at 10:00 on Lifetime.
