45th NAACP Image Award Nominees Announced

naacpNominees for the 45th NAACP Image Awards were announced on Thursday and leading the way was BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood, which picked up seven nominations in total, four of which were for acting. The comedy, a partially scripted parody of the Real Housewives franchise, recently completed its second season. On the drama side, Shonda Rhimes had an especially good day, as Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy combined for nine nominations between them, with both making it into Outstanding Drama Series. Other multiple nominees included Treme, Boardwalk Empire, The Game, Being Mary Jane, The Soul Man, and Southland.
