Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce: Susan Walters to Guest Star

TVLine is reporting that Susan Walters (Star-Crossed) has signed on to guest star on upcoming Bravo scripted series Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. She’s set to portray Karen, a class mom who disapproves of how Abby (Lisa Edelstein) is handling her divorce.

Based on the Vicki Iovine novels of the same name and adapted for television by Marti Noxon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce follows self-help author Abby as her separation from her husband becomes public knowledge. Not only does she now have to repair the damage to her brand that the separation caused, she’s been thrown into the Los Angeles singles scene as a 40-something, which she never would have expected. Out of practice on what it means to date around and nursing a bruised ego, Abby ends up turning to her divorced friends for advice on what to avoid and how to find someone worthwhile in a seemingly impossible situation.

In addition to her role on the CW alien drama, Walters has appeared on the likes of The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, and Reckless. Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce stars Janeane Garofalo (Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior), Paul Adelstein (Scandal), Alanna Ubach (Hung), Beau Garrett (Turistas), and Necar Zadegan (Rake).

Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce is slated to premiere Tuesday, December 2nd at 10:00 on Bravo. You can check out a trailer for the series here.
