Members Only: Michael Landes Joins Upcoming ABC Drama

Deadline is reporting that Michael Landes (Save Me) has joined the cast of upcoming ABC drama Members Only, formerly known as The Club. He’s set to play recently widowed pediatrician Malcolm, a charming single father who has mixed feelings about his membership at a country club.

Created by Susannah Grant (A Gifted Man) and David O. Russell (American Hustle), with Russell exiting the project shortly after it was announced, Members Only is said to be an upstairs/downstairs drama that follows the goings-on at a private country club. The series was one of four straight-to-series orders by ABC this past season, though none of the group, which includes Marvel’s Agent Carter, Secrets & Lies, and The Astronaut Wives Club, will be premiering this fall.

In addition to his role on the NBC comedy, Landes has appeared on the likes of Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23, The Crazy Ones, and My Boys. He joins a cast that includes the likes of Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), Luke Mitchell (The Tomorrow People), and Boris Kodjoe (Real Husbands of Hollywood).

Members Only is set to premiere this midseason on ABC.
