2014 Imagen Award Nominations Announced

imagen awardsNominees for the 2014 Imagen Awards have been announced and on the television side, it was a strong showing for The Bridge and Devious Maids, in particular. The former, an FX crime drama that returns for its second season in July, garnered two supporting actress nods to go along with a series nomination, while the latter, in the home stretch of its second season, garnered nominations for all five of its lead actresses. Among the series that received multiple nominations were Looking, Chicago Fire, Switched at Birth, Law & Order: SVU, and Chicago P.D..

You can check out a full list of nominees for the 2014 Imagen Awards, which will recognize positive portrayals of Latinos and Latino cultures in television and film, here. The awards will be given out Friday, August 1st in Beverly Hills.
