boardwalk empireSlowly but surely this season on Boardwalk Empire, Chalky White has been backed into a corner, as Dr. Narcisse has made no secret of his intentions of taking over the Northside, Dunn Purnsley turned his back on his business associate, and Nucky Thompson decided not to intervene in the turf war, citing the fact that his debt to Chalky was paid and that Mr. White simply couldn’t keep his house in order. With his family likely to turn against him now that Maybelle caught her father with siren Daughter Maitland and Narcisse not taking kindly to being called out in front of potential converts, Chalky is arguably as bad off as he’s been on Boardwalk Empire now that the fourth season is winding down, not a powerful ally in sight and more to lose now than ever. Can he figure out a way to outsmart Narcisse, reassert his dominance in the Northside, and prove that Nucky made a mistake in not helping him?
