Devious Maids 2.02 Preview: Rosie Begins a New Job

With things with Spence decidedly cooling off thanks to Peri”s pregnancy, Rosie has to begin focusing on other aspects of herself and finding the normalcy that she lost during her time in the detention center. While it would make for an easier transition if she had someone she loves to help, Rosie cannot keep relying on Spence when he won”t make a move that shows how much he cares about her. Seeing as how Rosie was always a good maid and someone who easily gelled with each of her clients, she decides to quickly move on to another family, only to find that things aren”t going to be that easy this time around.

On the next episode of Devious Maids, Rosie begins a new job, this time with a dysfunctional family where the mother and daughter are at odds. Rosie”s calm nature might be the thing that was needed to lessen the tension between all parties, but it becomes evident that not everyone in the family views her in the same light, with the mother treating her very much like The Help vs. like a human being and another part of their family. What will be interesting to see is Darin’s parents said they hope the driving conditions chicago will reconsider its policy. how Rosie handles a client that”s difficult but a different type of difficult than what she dealt with at the Westmore home; has her experience with Spence and the brush with deportation hardened any part of her psyche? Will she decide to let things fall off her shoulders or will she subtly fight back against the woman who treats her so poorly?

Elsewhere on Devious Maids, Carmen finds her position threatened when an old flame of Alejandro”s returns, while Zoila ignores the problems at home with Valentina, Marisol tries to make peace with Opal, and Adrian fails to protect Evelyn in a dangerous situation.
