Sleepy Hollow 2.02 Photos and Sneak Peeks: Crane and Abbie Plot an Escape Route

Ichabod and Abbie managed to reunite after being incapacitated by Jeremy, with the former using his knowledge of science to free himself from the coffin and the latter getting some necessary advice from Brooks on how to handle purgatory. However, just because the two are now mobile in the outside world doesn’t mean that they’re in an overly advantageous position against the Horseman, not when two members of their team are still up against the wall. As Irving’s legal position might not be easily amended, their focus has now shifted to the more high priority target: Katrina, who is still trapped in a carriage house overseen by Abraham.

On the next episode of Sleepy Hollow, Abbie and Ichabod come up with a way to free Katrina from her confinement, as they resurrect a Frankenstein-like creation of Ben Franklin in order to fight the Horseman. It’s quick a risky gambit, seeing as how they don’t have a back-up plan should the creature lose, but they have to think outside the box if they have any hope of freeing Katrina and getting a much needed victory against both Jeremy and the Horseman. Not only would securing Katrina give both Abbie and Ichabod the moral victory that they need to keep going, her powers would become quite the weapon in the fight against the Horseman, allowing the team the type of latitude they didn’t have while she was in purgatory.

Elsewhere on Sleepy Hollow, Irving reveals what really happened during his encounter with the demon, thereby causing himself even more problems, while Jenny finds herself at odds with the new sheriff of Sleepy Hollow.

Sleepy Hollow Season 2 Premiere Photos: The Town Edges Toward Destruction

Ever since Ichabod and Abbie began working together, they’ve made quite the progress toward understanding their true mission, finding the type of common ground necessary to help their working relationship, and saving the world from the threats that seek to destroy it. However, as quickly as they were learning about what was expected of them as guardians, neither of them were able to pick up on the fact that the Sin Eater was Ichabod’s son Jeremy – the Second of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. That lack of awareness threatens to undo all of the good that Ichabod and Abbie have done since they first teamed up, but will either Ichabod or Abbie escape their precarious positions in order to stop War from enveloping Sleepy Hollow?

On the season premiere of Sleepy Hollow, the town edges toward destruction now that Jeremy has free reign. While Ichabod is trapped in a coffin similar to the one that his son was for two centuries, he’s unable to help Abbie escape purgatory, free Katrina from the grasp of the Horseman, or pull Jenny from the car crash that she was involved in. If Ichabod doesn’t find a way to escape the coffin, his resurrection will have been for naught, as there would be no one standing between the Horsemen and the beginning of the apocalypse; whether he likes it or not, Ichabod will be one of the defenders of the world for the next several years, giving him a sense of purpose that outweighs how lost he feels in this new world that he’s been brought up in. In order to continue living in, exploring, and protecting this world, he’s got to free himself and find ways to rescue those he loves the most from the fates that his son played a part in facilitating.

The second season of Sleepy Hollow premieres Monday, September 22nd at 9:00 on FOX.

Revenge 4.01 Photos and Preview: Victoria Finds an Advantage

Emily knows that it’s going to take a lot to bring Victoria Grayson down. The Hamptons Grand Dame’s tenaciousness is only matched by the fabulousness of her wardrobe and she’s had years to practice navigating uncomfortable situations and manipulating the sentiments of those around her. Victoria knows how to get people on her side and how to keep herself going through the most trying of circumstances, so while Conrad might talk a bigger game and carry a bigger stick, the Grayson matriarch is the true threat to everything that Emily holds near and dear.

On the fourth season premiere of Revenge, Victoria finds herself trapped in a mental institution with a destroyed reputation. Anything she says about Emily Thorne being a whole other person and coming to the Hamptons in order to exact revenge for David’s murder will be treated as the ramblings of a mentally touched woman who finally succumbed to the familial pressure weighing on her. Emily seemingly found a way to keep Victoria from coming after her by trapping her in the hospital and ruining any chance of having her identity exposed, with the institutionalization serving as the death blow to the air of untouchability that surrounds the Graysons and Victoria in particular. However, Victoria is still alive, breathing, and mentally sane, so now that she has the information she needs about Emily’s real reason for coming to the Hamptons, she’s going to fight like hell to get out of the hospital and give herself a chance to square off with the real Amanda Clarke. But does Emily has a plan of action just in case Victoria makes it back from her sojourn into the mental health system?

Elsewhere on Revenge, David plans his next move after striking against Conrad, while Emily plans to host her most surprising party ever.

Revenge Season 3 Finale Photos and Preview: Emily vs. Victoria

Ever since Emily Thorne arrived in the Hamptons, she had two main targets in her quest for vengeance: Conrad and Victoria Grayson. While others crossed into her path along the way and her venom was eventually reserved for Daniel Grayson, Conrad and Victoria bore the brunt of her fury for their roles in getting her father sent to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Due to her own anxiety about finally finishing the job, the arbitrary deadline that Jack gave her lingering in her head, and the blackouts that took her out of commission for a while, Emily’s journey sped up in recent weeks on Revenge, culminating in a kidnapping plot that forced the great Conrad Grayson behind bars. But what about Victoria?

On the third season finale of Revenge, Emily gets to direct the full extent of her ire toward Victoria and launches a full-scale attack on the Hamptons queen. However, Victoria isn’t coming into this battle unarmed, as she’s one step away from figuring out that the woman she knows as Emily Thorne is actually Amanda Clarke, a revelation that would change the game for each woman. Emily would no longer be able to operate in the shadows, though Victoria figuring out her secret could give her the incentive to finish what she started, while Victoria isn’t exactly drowning in allies at this moment; even if Victoria wanted to bring down Emily, regardless of her connection to David, she has neither the resources nor the manpower to make that happen. But we’ve seen that Victoria will do what she has to in order to survive when her back is against the wall, so if it’s either her or Emily, she’ll figure out a way to put up a hell of a fight.

The third season finale of Revenge airs Sunday at 10:00 on ABC.

Revenge 3.21 Photos and Preview: Emily Resorts to Drastic Measures

The Grayson empire has taken quite a few shots since Emily Thorne came to town on her quest for vengeance, but they’ve always managed to dust themselves off and withstand whatever blows landed against them. However, the longer Emily has continued her hunt for justice for her father, the more the Graysons have weakened, meaning that at this point, it’s all a matter of Emily hanging on until the moment comes when she can deliver a knockout punch. But is she ready to wreak years worth of vengeance on the people who made her life a living hell and turned her into the woman that stands before them today?

On the next episode of Revenge, that moment looks to be coming sooner rather than later, as Conrad and Victoria are left reeling when they discover Charlotte’s been kidnapped. Victoria, especially, isn’t in a positive state, the kidnapping coming after Pascal’s murder, and her taking her eye off the ball could give Emily the motivation and opportunity to strike. With how resilient the Graysons have proven to be, she can’t afford to waste this chance, not when she’s still recovering from the toll her blackouts took and not when she might not have the Grayson defense shields down again anytime soon. What she has to do now, though, is figure out who took Charlotte, what they want with her, and how she can be use this situation to her advance – does she turn Victoria against Conrad and watch as the Graysons further implode? Or could she save Charlotte herself and use the Grayson daughter as a way to glean information about the destruction her parents are dealing with?

Revenge 3.20 Photos and Preview: The Graysons Gain Leverage

After spending quite some time in blackout-induced confusion, Emily Thorne has slowly been putting her plan for revenge back into motion, doing the legwork necessary to put herself in position to bring down the Graysons. However, her time away from her plan has made her a step slow, slow enough for Victoria to piece together the real reason for her presence in the Hamptons and develop a trap of her own that Emily didn’t see coming. To Emily, Luke Gilliam was another victim to gross off her list of those culpable for the death of her father, but to Victoria, he was a way to get the truth, someone to help her remain a step ahead of her former daughter-in-law.

On the next episode of Revenge, the Graysons continue to gain leverage against Emily, so with her identity hanging in the balance, and therefore her safety in the Hamptons, Emily decides to adopt a new persona. Her intent is to use the persona to help unmask the Graysons, but in addition to the new identity, she brings in Pascal to interrogate him about his role in her father’s death and extract information about the Graysons from him. With how close he is with Victoria, he’s the perfect person for Emily to turn, making him a double agent of sorts and getting a window into the Grayson world that she wouldn’t have access to otherwise. However, Emily has to be careful, as Victoria is still very much ahead of her and could have given Pascal explicit instructions on how to handle a confrontation with her, meaning that even when Emily thinks she’s ahead of the game, she’s the one playing catch-up.

Revenge airs Sundays at 10:00 on ABC.

Revenge 3.19 Photos and Preview: Emily Looks into Oscar Chapman

Emily Thorne’s plan for vengeance has been derailed for much of the third season of Revenge, as she’s had to deal with crippling blackouts and dwindling senses of confidence and purpose. Once living her life with blinders on, seeing nothing but her next move to bring down the Graysons, Emily has felt the weight of her plan this season and realized just how much she’s taken on by dedicating her life to pursuing revenge. Years ago, she thought that the closer she got to destroying the Graysons, the more invigorated and alive she would feel, but it turns out that her thirst for vengeance has only lessened the deeper she’s gone into the Hamptons rabbit hole.

On tonight’s episode of Revenge, Emily has one of her first real leads of the season in Oscar Chapman, the reporter with a connection to Aiden’s father Trevor who could sketch out Trevor’s relationship with Pascal. It might just be a dead end if Pascal had no part in David Clarke being railroaded, but it’s something that could reinvigorate Emily’s motivation to see her plan through. Even if she doesn’t find Oscar Chapman or if Oscar Chapman confirms that Pascal is an innocent in all this, getting back in the game could do wonders for Emily, showing her that she’s within reach of the goal she’s dedicated her life to and that soon, normalcy may be something more than a pipe dream. However, if Pascal does happen to have a role in the imprisonment of David Clarke, how will Emily ultimately make him pay?

Revenge 3.18 Photos and Preview: Victoria Reconnects with Mason Treadwell

Victoria Grayson is someone who gets what she wants. She might have had numerous stumbling blocks in her life, events that guided her down the path she ultimately regretted taking, but when she wants something, when she passionately believes in something, she reaches out and takes it. As much as she may despise Conrad for everything he did to her during their marriage, she learned how to be a shark from him and it’s served her well, as she’s gotten to the top of the Hamptons social scene by being cunning, ruthless, and, most of all, smart. So the fact that she’s latched on to the mission of exposing the real Emily Thorne, the skeletons that her former future daughter-in-law keeps buried in her closet, is not a good thing for Emily.

On tonight’s episode of Revenge, Victoria pays Mason Treadwell a prison visit and gets even closer to figuring out that the woman she knows as Emily Thorne isn’t who she claims to be. All of this resulted from Emily’s plan being thrown off due to the blackouts and regrouping has taken longer than one would expect from the woman who came to the Hamptons on a warpath toward justice; once Emily realizes that Victoria is going after her, she’s got to find a way to balance her original plan for revenge against the Graysons with her new plan to stall/misdirect the Grayson matriarch, therefore giving herself the time and space needed to get back on track. But has Victoria gotten too close to the truth about Emily to be turned around now? Are Emily Thorne’s days in the Hamptons numbered?

Revenge 3.17 Photos and Preview: Daniel Goes After Emily’s Friends

Emily Thorne was able to secure a public break from the Graysons by leaking her medical records to Voulez and making it known that she faked her pregnancy. It was a move that showed just how dedicated she is to exacting justice for her father, a move that should bring Stevie Grayson more into the fold now that she knows where Emily’s loyalties truly lie. While Emily’s newly single status should be an asset in her quest to bring down the Graysons, there’s the matter of Daniel still seething over the perceived affair with Aiden; Emily assumed that the Graysons feeling as if they won against her would lower their defenses and give her an opportunity to regroup and strike back, but what if Daniel chooses instead to go on the offensive?

On tonight’s episode of Revenge, Daniel pledges to go after Emily’s friends now that he realizes his soon-to-be-ex-wife’s eyes are less on the Grayson fortune and more on the foundation of the Grayson family. Emily wants to bring down the Graysons by any means necessary and since her plan was interrupted by her string of blackouts, Daniel has the opportunity to strike back and make himself the latest obstacle Emily has to either navigate around or destroy. We’ve seen Daniel’s anger toward Emily bubble up several times in recent episodes, but could it go from being a strong motivator for his own sort of vengeance to a liability? If Daniel is only able to focus on the act of revenge and cannot see the full picture, he risks bringing the type of harm to himself and his family that Emily has dreamed of ever since her own plan came into fruition all those years ago.

Revenge 3.16 Photos and Preview: Emily Gets Ambushed by the Graysons

Emily Thorne may have recommitted herself to her goal of exacting vengeance upon the Graysons, but she doesn’t have as much control over the situation as she would like. Thanks in part to her series of blackouts, which she only recently learned the cause of, Emily has been falling behind on her plans for the Graysons and doesn’t have as much surety in her step as she did when she first arrived in the Hamptons. She’s going to have to make up for lost time and then some if she has any hope of finding the justice that her father was denied, especially if she continues getting into public squabbles with Victoria Grayson, making herself a tabloid queen rather than a philanthropist and pinning suspicion on herself if anything ever goes awry.

On the next episode of Revenge, Victoria and Emily have another public showdown, with Victoria decidedly having the advantage going in. She’s still angry about what the Hamptons did to Patrick and the lengths that she had to go to ensure his safety, so seeing Emily out on the town and being reminded of the pain the Grayson family went through might be too much for her to deal with, hence the confrontation. Of course, it’s a short-sighted move to get involved in something so public, seeing as how Victoria risks being painted as the aggressive, over-the-hill shrew attacking a woman still recovering from a near-fatal shooting, but Victoria only cares about sending the message that neither she nor her family are to be messed with.

Elsewhere on Revenge, Pascal LeMarchal’s arrival in the Hamptons causes major reverberations, with the epicenter being the offices of Voulez.
