Friday, January 17th – “Eyes of the Beholder”
Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to the gruesome murder of a veteran working in home security. During their investigation, they discover this might be one of several revenge killings regarding a horrifying cover-up involving members of the army and military contractors. On the domestic front, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) accompanies Rosalee (Bree Turner) during her long overdue reunion with her mother and sister. In Europe, Adalind (Claire Coffee) sees hints of what she thinks might be her powers returning.

Friday, January 24th – “The Wild Hunt”
Nick and Hank investigate a cop killer who scalps his victims. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) begins to communicate with Nick’s mom via email and Adalind finds herself much closer to delivering her baby than she previously thought. Elsewhere, Monroe’s parents (guest stars Dee Wallace and Chris Mulkey) decide to surprise him and Rosalee with an early arrival to Portland after learning some exciting news.

On the next episode of Grimm, a string of vigilante-like killings have occurred in Portland recently, killings that have brought whispers that old Spanish legend El Cucuy has come to town. To get more information on the legend, Nick and Juliette track down Pilar, the woman who helped them with the La Llorona case from last season, and learn how the women in her neighborhood in Guadalajara called out to El Cucuy in hopes of getting rid of the evil men that lived among them. El Cucuy, she says, hears the cries of those experiencing sorrow; if enough of them say its name, it arises and hunts down those who its callers want rid of. However, the answer as to how they can defeat El Cucuy and send it back to where it was before it came to Portland likely lies not with Pilar but within the pages of the book in Aunt Marie’s trailer.

Elsewhere on Grimm, Juliette finds out about Nick’s mother and Adalind has a scare during her ultrasound.

On the next episode of Grimm, the gang has gathered at the shop to continue looking into the string of “undead” that have popped up around Portland. A flurry of rage-fueled assaults has drawn attention and can be traced back to The Baron, since the final step in the evolution of his victims is erratic and explosive violence. Seeing as how he infected an entire busload of people last week, the Crocher-Martel has plenty of hired guns (so to speak) ready and willing to do his bidding, but Nick having the resources that he does means that he can figure out a way to eradicate the city of them once and for all. It’s something that he has to do quickly, though, because if he lets The Baron shoot his saliva on enough people, there might be too many for even a Grimm of his caliber to deal with.

Elsewhere on Grimm, Stefania and Frau Pech continue to use Adalind as a pawn in their feud, while Renard learns that Eric’s in town on family business.

The season finale of Grimm is set to air Tuesday at 10:00 on NBC.

Just when things look like they’re back to normal with Juliette, Nick is called to investigate a flurry of rage-fueled assaults happening all over Portland. He goes to Monroe and Rosalee (Bree Turner) for help battling Portland’s newest wave of “undead.” As if that weren’t enough, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) informs Nick that his brother Eric (guest star James Frain) is in town on family business. Meanwhile, Stefania and Frau Pech methodically use their alliances with Adalind to battle one another.

Grimm airs Tuesdays at 10:00 on NBC. The show has already been renewed for a third 22-episode season.

Mysterious cow mutilations and reports of glowing creatures put Nick on a case that forces him to question the existence of aliens within the Wesen world. He also meets a strange UFO expert who seems to know more than he’s letting on. Meanwhile, Nick digs further into the key, and Juliette’s romantic memories of Nick start coming back in a big way.

Friday, May 3rd – “Kiss of the Muse”
Nick discovers a muse-like Wesen (guest star Nora Zehetner, “Heroes”) with the ability to influence those she gets close to – some with positive results, others with terrifying ones. Nick must find a way to get close without losing himself in the process. Juliette arranges a dinner date with Nick in the hopes of clearing the air, but their plans go awry as the case intensifies. Meanwhile, Rosalee (Bree Turner) takes her first visit to Aunt Marie’s trailer.

On the next episode of Grimm, Rosalee is on jury duty for a case with a Ziegevolk defense attorney who is using his powers to sway the jury in his favor. Once he eats a toad in the bathroom, he gets a psycho-hallucinogenic influence over people, which he’s been using to win cases, build his reputation, and move up the ladder at his firm. The fact that the Ziegevolk was trying to bend Rosalee to his whims, along with the rest of the jury, will make the case more personal for Nick, Hank, and Monroe, placing greater importance on getting him arrested and out of the general population. Not only is he targeting someone from their camp, he’s placing the Wesen community as a whole in danger, which could lead to others being found out and innocents being lost all due to the greed of one man.

Elsewhere on Grimm, Captain Renard brings Nick and Hank in on his recent dealings with the Verrat, while Juliette returns to the trailer and finds her memories becoming clearer.

Back at the precinct, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) brings Nick and Hank in on his own recent dealings with the Verrat, to keep them on their toes. Meanwhile, a return to the trailer brings a flurry of memories of Nick rushing back to Juliette.

Adalind wasn’t in town 24 hours before she managed to have Hank beaten so badly we never even saw the damage, Juliette so lost in her feelings for Renard she was giving away state secrets about Nick and his family jewels (aka, the silver bullet) and finally wound up in jail under suspicion for the murder of her mother.

Monroe and Juliette both wanted to urgently speak with Nick about Renard, but only one knew who he was. Why was that? In all the cases Monroe has been stumbling around behind the scenes with Nick, he never once saw Renard on the job? I find that hard to believe. Thankfully, DVRs come in handy not only to watch television, but to move television plots along, and Monroe was able to show Nick exactly who Juliette was kissing in the shop.

Juliette is no longer even mildly amusing. I completely understand her dilemma, as I’ve had the incredible opportunity to meet both David Giuntoli and Sasha Roiz in person. They are both extremely handsome, ooze sexiness and are funny and personable. That’s real life. Toss in what the writers give them, all that mystery and suave, debonair crap and she has one hell of a decision to make. Who to choose? Okay, she’s also under a spell. By a powerful Hexenbiest. From what I understand, it only wiped her memory of the past, not her desire to get to know someone in the present. I’ve seen Nick’s blue eyes in person, even if I didn’t know him, I’d want to share a dinner or two, and a few bottles of wine gazing into them to see if maybe I wasn’t so crazy to be in love with him once.

Of course, then Renard would come strolling in. All six foot too much of him, demanding to be seen and I’d swivel my head. But it would not be as easy as “you’re not sleeping in this bed.” Or whatever specific phrase Juliette used when Nick finally told her he’d had enough of the couch. Juliette seems open to everyone and everything except Nick, and that’s not what the spell was supposed to do, so I’m a bit peeved with her. And, yes, Juliette, it is rude of you to go to his best friend’s house for answers, even if it is the last place you remember before your coma.

What are your thoughts on this – did they have Hank beat up so there wouldn’t be a difficult decision in where Nick went when he left Juliette? When Adalind first knocked on Hank’s door, I thought it was Nick, wanting to move in with him. And….I was kind of angry that Nick chose to live with Hank instead of Monroe. How weird am I? I have this love of Monore and Nick together, and the thought of Nick choosing to live with Hank would have hurt my feelings. Typing that just made me laugh out loud at how idiotic it sounds.

So, we have to wait until 2013 to find out what happens next. That stinks!  It’s especially difficult since it was one of the first series to air, starting in August. We’re so close now. Don’t go away! Here’s what we have to look forward to:

Renard found the trailer. I think. You never know, it could have been exchanged or moved or any number of things to keep him from discovering the actual goods. If he finds the Grimm goodness inside and Nick is stripped of his greatest assets, then what? Perhaps he will find his inner Grimm powers enhanced in some way.

It’s also possible Nick is inside waiting for Renard. Something tells me sleep was the last thing on his mind once he saw that news footage, and I could easily imagine him heading over there to pour over historical records to try to find some clue as to what might tie Renard to the Royals. He has to have put it together. Monroe knew Renard was in the shop for a very specific elixir. Adalind told Nick the Royals are behind her attempted murder of his aunt for the key. Adalind’s cat scratched Juliette. Nick is a smart guy, the wheels are turning.

Oh my gosh – now I’m even more excited for what’s to come. To see Nick and Renard pitted against each other? Squeee! Bring it on.

With two episodes of Grimm to go this fall, Adalind pops back up and reveals that her role in what’s going on in Portland might be bigger than Nick expected. We know that it was her cat that caused Juliette’s coma and, indirectly, her attraction to Renard, but the promo hints that her involvement is (and will become) much deeper than has been revealed. Might she turn her attention to Juliette and attempt to get her to break up with Nick? Or will she go the more direct way and find someone to attack the Grimm in a bid to make him pay for the death of her mother and the loss of her powers?

Elsewhere on Grimm, Hank’s newfound knowledge of the Wesen world continues coloring how he views the cases he’s handling. This time, he gets suspicious about a man currently on death row that he arrested; the man claimed self-defense during his murder trial and that he had defended himself against “monsters.” Hank has revisited cases before, but this one is different and he has a chance to save a life if he can figure out a way to get the man off of death row without delving into the monster talk that didn’t fly in court. Part of the reason that Hank’s managed to keep it together after being able to see Wesen is that Nick could see them, too, and I’m sure that there’s a certain amount of comfort knowing that the two of them aren’t alone, though the time for grilling the man about his ability isn’t now.

Not when his life depends on how quickly Hank and Nick can come up with a way to get his conviction reversed.

Grimm airs tonight at 9:00 on NBC. The show’s fall finale will be airing next week.
