After hearing about everything from Raquel, he’s determined to bring Oscar down, too. The following morning, Jude gets a visit from Detective Harris, who questions him about where he was at 10:26 the night of Olivia’s murder; he tells him that he snuck onto the arena’s floor to get some time to think before rushing Harris out the door so he can get ready for work. At the arena, Ahsha and German run into one another after their hookup and he tells her that he would be willing to give things another shot, provided she commit herself 100% to the idea of being with him. If it’s not what she wants, he’s more than okay with that – he just can’t go through another breakup with her.

Over at the Playground, Jelena gets questioned by Detective Harris and she claims that she was asleep at the time of Olivia’s murder. However, she, too, rushes away from Harris, making herself look more guilty than she previously did. She ends up hightailing it to rehearsal and, once the music stops, has a confrontation with Ahsha over the latter refining her dance skills and coming for Jelena’s spot. After coming home from a heavy day at the office and still with thoughts of the police visit on his mind, Jude gets a delivery – a wedding invitation from his father and Lionel, who are getting hitched in the immediate future. When they find out, Sloane and Pete are aghast at the thought, though the latter understands how Lionel is spotlight hungry enough to do something like this. Sloane thinks that Oscar only got strong-armed into this due to Lionel possessing the financial evidence and tape that Kyle recorded, so she decided to head to the wedding in hopes of procuring the evidence and turning it over to the proper authorities.

At the wedding, Jude gets annoyed when Zero flirts with a girl working the door, while Derek comes to Oscar about his concerns over Kyle, who he says tried to give him coke the other night. The reason for this? Kyle will get fired from her position as Oscar’s new #1 girl, thus allowing her to leave Los Angeles without having to look over her shoulder from here on out. The last bit of business that she takes care of has to do with being Derek’s alibi, which he also is for her, and Kyle Hart is one game away from leaving the city for good. Back in Oscar’s house, Pete finds Lionel in her black wedding dress and tries to talk some sense into her, all the while Sloane sneaks through Lionel’s bags looking for the tape. She finds it just before Lionel heads over to the aisle and begins marching toward Oscar. Jude eventually joins her and walks her down the aisle, though he’s more concerned about what the heck this woman is doing marrying his father than anything else. While the ceremony goes off without a hitch, Sloane rushes to the police to deliver the tape to an investigator. However, she’s spotted by corrupt Detective Harris, still on Oscar’s payroll, thus putting herself in danger.

The following day, the seventh and deciding game of the finals tips off and the Devils end up down by 2 at the half thanks to a last second shot from Zero. After the Devil Girls perform their final routine of the season, the second half gets underway and the game remains close throughout. With Los Angeles up 1, Boston hits a 3, giving them the 2-point lead; with four seconds to go, Terrence makes a lay-up to tie the game and lands awkwardly on his injured leg, shattering his fibula and taking himself out of the running for OT. Once he tells Jelena to stay at the arena and tell him how the game ends, Terrence gets carted off. The OT period finds Boston and Los Angeles as close as ever, with Boston up three following a dunk with less than 30 seconds left. Los Angeles closes the gap and with time expiring, Derek opts to take the final shot himself, bouncing the ball of the backboard before slamming it home and putting the Devils up by 1. Confetti rains down; Sloane and Pete affectionately celebrate; Derek gets a chance to impress his mother; and Zero is noticeably deflated, having called for the ball in the closing seconds.

Unfortunately, the celebration is short-lived, as police swarm the arena and arrest Oscar for Mia’s murder. An apologetic Harris tells him that it was Sloane who brought the damning evidence and as he’s restrained after charging at her, Oscar warns her that she doesn’t know what she just did. While Kyle and Raquel agree to get married in order to keep the latter in the country, their friendship rekindled at the Playground following Oscar’s arrest, Sloane gets summoned to Oscar’s office by Lionel. With a swarming group of paparazzi at her back, she makes it safely there, only to find that Lionel is now the team co-owner, everything that led to finding the tape was pre-orchestrated, and Jelena was the one behind the idea in the first place. The kicker is that Sloane has now been trapped in the Devils organization; if she quits, she leaves herself open to retaliation, but if she stays, Lionel promises that nothing will happen to her, despite the fact that she wants nothing more than to rip the Devil Girl director’s throat out.

Jude finds Zero moping in the locker room. Despite having two rings, Zero wanted to be The Man for Los Angeles, rather than just some guy who happened to be on a championship-winning team. He blames Jude for his loss of status, while Jude points out that the loss of endorsement opportunity came because Zero couldn’t keep it in his pants, which also points to Jude’s jealousy over the flirting incident at the wedding. But Jude explains that he’s angry at himself for allowing this type of treatment to persist; angry at Zero for continuing with this “no relationships” bullshit when they both know he only means “no relationships with guys”; angry that Zero refuses to be real with anyone; angry that he needs something from Zero that he feels like he’s never going to get. Jude tries to quit as Zero’s agent, claiming that he’s tired of getting percentages from people, only for Zero to confess his actual first name – Gideon – as a way of showing that he’s willing to open up. Before leaving, Jude tells Zero that he’d really like to take Gideon out for a date sometime and if that’s a possibility, for him to call him.

Ahsha meets Sloane in the Devil Girls practice area and tells her mother that she’s beyond proud of what she just did and that she understands why she came to work there in the first place. Sloane then has to drop a bomb on Ahsha – due to the influence of Jelena and Lionel, she has to fire her daughter from the team. While Jelena heads to the hospital to tell Terrence that the Devils won, Sloane receives a phone call from the officer she gave the tape to; he informs her that the LAPD is going after Oscar in connection to Olivia’s murder, though she doesn’t think that he would do something like that. Derek and his mother head to a restaurant for what he thinks is a quiet dinner with just the two of them. It turns out, though, that she brought several businessmen to the dinner with the intention of getting Derek to sign endorsement contracts now that he’s a champion. Feeling hurt, Derek pulls her aside and lashes out at the deception, saying that all his mother cares about is money, that he only gave her stuff to keep her around, that she never loved him to begin with, and that he’s going to go after the one woman who did love him – Ahsha. But when he makes it to the Hayes residence, he finds that Ahsha’s not home and he ends up leaving Sloane with the knowledge that he’s going to try to win her daughter back.

A montage then plays showing where everybody was the night that Olivia died –

Jude was on the court, as he told Detective Harris.
Kyle was in her apartment.
Derek was in a bathroom with a bag of coke.
Raquel was at the arena and checked her phone to find that Olivia called her a bunch of times.
Jelena was in a car outside the arena.

Olivia’s killer?

German. He had an envelope with Ahsha’s name on it, presumably his motivation in pushing Olivia to the ground.

Additional thoughts and observations:
-“Messengers have a habit of getting shot.”
-“Everyone retires eventually.”
-“So, this is what blood money looks like.” “Blood money and a good decorator.”
-“He has crabs. Excuse me.”
-“This is an awfully short aisle.”
-“I promise to cheat on you…a lot.”
-Holy shit, you guys. I was not ready for the reveal that German (!!!) was the one responsible for Olivia’s death – and that it was no accident on his part. If you had asked me to rank the characters in order of likelihood of killing Olivia, I would have had German either at the very bottom or within a couple spots of the bottom, since I thought he was off-limits for something like this. While I do adore the decision to have someone like him do it, as the show’s central mystery/pre-finale cliffhanger was a bit more predictable and I think it gives Jonathan McDaniel some interesting options regarding how to play German next season, I can’t help but wonder if this is the show’s way of making Derek/Ahsha happen again. I’m all for big twists like this and turning character perceptions on their head, but I hope this isn’t a shipper pandering plot device and that this reveal will have some emotional weight during season three, that this is a soap with some depth behind the theatrics.
-I will say, though, that I loved the way it was revealed – some could call it overwrought, but the epilogue-like feel, with the monologue, the blue, and the flashes to what everybody was doing when Olivia died, was so well-executed and left things in such an interesting place for season three that I don’t even care if it was. It was entertaining and it made for a strong coda to a season that I firmly enjoyed.
-Another fun choice was the quick shots of every suspect in Olivia’s murder when the police came into the arena. I love a good stylized soap and between that and the red letters, Hit the Floor killed it this season in terms of style, individuation, and commitment to being a quality soap.
-Question: Does Oscar know that it was German who did it? Could that have been what he meant when he said that Sloane didn’t know what she was getting herself into?
-During the game, there was a weird time cut that I had to rewind – it might be my fault for not paying close enough attention while I was taking notes, but in OT, having it go from Boston up three to up 1 without showing the seconds in between confused me for a second. The second time I saw the scene, I caught the amount of time on the clock, but I wonder if that was maybe one cut too many, since there was only 20-ish seconds left. Though that can be an eternity in basketball time, I think the show could have framed that a little differently and made the scene smoother.
-Even though I knew Jelena couldn’t have done it, I thought she looked extraordinarily guilty during her meeting with Detective Harris. But did Harris know that Jelena was also working for Oscar, hence him letting her go to rehearsal and out of talking to him?
-I like how the rehearsal song and the routine song were completely different, despite Jelena stressing that they had to do the routine perfectly. I did like the routine, though – the operatic music that totally set the mood for the rest of the episode, the corset-y tops, the pyramid they formed while laying on the floor. The choreography on Hit the Floor is always a highlight and this week was no exception.
-Lionel wearing black to her wedding was also perfect. And let’s talk about how beautiful Jodi Lynn O’Keefe looked there, because that dress fit like a glove.
-I’m going to need Kyle not to leave Los Angeles. I’m happy that she wriggled free from Oscar and that she didn’t end up as the show’s third dead blonde in two seasons, but both the character and Kat Bailess’s performance bring such life to this show that I can’t imagine it without her. So, like, if you guys see a pretty Southern blonde who comes running when you open your wallet, direct her back to the Devils arena. Thanks.
-Terrence’s injury was terrifying. For this being a fluffy basic cable soap, that was gruesome and surprisingly emotional. The show did good by building Terrence’s arc this season around his hunger for a title and the uncertainty surrounding his leg; him being such a good man and such a hard worker made the injury all the more devastating, especially since it happened so late in the game anyway. You thought that he might be able to make it out of this season without injury and then there you are, choked up at him telling Jelena that he wants to know how the game ends. Well played, show.
-Ray Wise! Ray Wise is in everything, you guys. I’m surprised someone as recognizable as Ray Wise took a bit part like this, but it was good to see him, as always.
-I love that Lionel isn’t written as a prototypically stupid actress. She’s cunning and though she might be a bit too over her head in her partnership with Jelena, it was a cool dynamic twist seeing her on the Devils throne and hearing about the catch-22 she caught Sloane in.
-Everything between Jude and Zero this season has been total heart eyes for me and this week was no different. Just as the show humanized Jelena through her love for Terrence, it’s dethawed Zero’s heart by showing that he does care about Jude and that he might be willing to be himself for the first time since he landed in Los Angeles. It’s a little bit of sweetness on a show that went darker this season and I hope that we get to see their relationship develop further next season. Also, Adam Senn in the blue shirt and white pants he wore in the locker room? Jesus.
-Also also, is Jude the most rootable character we have right now? Because out of everybody, he’s the one who I most hope finds happiness, especially given how emotionally satisfying his dressing down of Zero was.
-So, what do you think Ahsha’s envelope says? My predictions: it either says that she was adopted by Sloane or (wait for it) Oscar, rather than Pete, is her biological father. Bookmark me.
-Thanks to any and all of you who’ve followed my Hit the Floor coverage this season. Unfortunately, it was interrupted as I fell behind on the show, but I got it together just in time to witness a heck of an ending to a pretty strong season. Let’s hope that the show continues this momentum into its third season and that it gets to explore every corner of darkness that lies within the halls of Devils Arena.

It was a sad state of affairs for the former Devil Girl, who had grown desperate enough at the prospect of the groundbreaking to blackmail several key members in the Devils world into making a public stand against Oscar; had she decided to lay low and conduct her business in the shadows and behind closed doors, she might even still be lurking around the arena.

But Olivia Vincent will not go away quietly – it’s just not her style. Her death, which Oscar attempted to sweep under the rug by hiring Sloane and railroading Chase, is threatening to undo the very fabric that holds the Devils organization together. Someone associated with the franchise pushed her off the landing and it’s not someone like her husband with only tenuous ties to the Devils; it’s someone deeply entrenched in the organization, someone who, if word of their involvement in the murder was to leak, would cast a pall over what should be the happiest time in the franchise’s existence. Under Coach Pete Davenport, the Devils have managed to make it to the finals – the pinnacle for any professional sporting team – yet it could all come crashing down around them before the first bottle of champagne gets popped.

With the mystery surrounding Olivia’s death to culminate in a shocking finale reveal, TVHackr decided to look at the suspects in the murder and determine who’s most likely behind the fall of the beautiful former dancer. Once you cut out the least likely suspects in the murder, either due to their role on the show (e.g. Ahsha) or their lack of ties to Olivia (e.g. Terrence), the five Devils and Devils adjacent figures on the hot seat when it comes to the investigation are Oscar, Jude, Jelena, Kyle, and Derek, all of whom knew the Devil Girl director had something on them. But who could be the person whose one decision could threaten a multi-million dollar franchise?

Kyle Hart
Could she…?: Kyle has previously refused to answer any questions about what she was doing the night of the murder, feigning offense at the insinuation rather than actually coughing up her alibi. She and Olivia clashed multiple times since she joined the team and there’s a possibility that she could have accidentally shoved Olivia to her death in the heat of yet another argument – this one about the information Olivia was holding that could send Kyle to prison. Was Kyle desperate enough to free herself from Benny’s clutches that she refused to let Olivia take that opportunity from her?
But wait: Kyle Hart is the comic relief of Hit the Floor, the one character who has managed to keep her sense of humor in the face of an uneasy time, and those aren’t the characters who get pinned for stuff like this. The show needs Kyle’s brassy Southern drawl dispatching sassy one-liners to keep the tone from shifting too much to the dark side and it’s not as if she hated Olivia as much as someone like Jelena; there might be some shiftiness in Kyle this season, but with how afraid she became of Oscar and how she was trying to build a better life for herself, that doesn’t equal a murderer.
Final verdict: Though Kyle might have had a reason to kill Olivia, Hit the Floor wouldn’t turn their ray of sunshine into a full-on heel, not after undergoing its darkest season yet.

Jelena Howard
Could she…?: Jelena and Olivia hated each other’s guts and continued to battle for control of the Devil Girls until the latter’s death. Jelena has made no mystery of the importance the Devil Girls have in her life and through her interactions with Ahsha and Sloane, she’s shown herself to be ruthless enough to get what she wants no matter the impact it has on others. Already the show’s B-villain, she has a history of nefarious activity that killing Olivia wouldn’t look too out of place up against, especially since she was the one who moved the shovel for Oscar, and having her be the one to push Olivia to her death would be a way to amp up the mystique around the baddest Devil in the locker room.
But wait: The show has done an awful lot to humanize Jelena this season – having her be cautiously friendly with Raquel, showing just how much she cares about Terrence, shining a spotlight on the issues she has with her mother. While there’s always a chance that this was all a bait-and-switch, a way to soften the character before being hit with a reminder of just how deep her badness goes, it doesn’t feel like something that Hit the Floor would do, not when Jelena is as prominent on the show as she is. Some catty comments are one thing, but would the show have arguably its second lead become a murderer?
Final verdict: Jelena Howard is capable of a lot of things, but season two has proven that murder isn’t one of them.

Derek Roman
Could he…?: Olivia knew about Derek’s drug use and could have used that to destroy his public image, thereby costing him millions of endorsement dollars in the process. Word about his addiction could have also robbed him of a chance to play for a championship and put quite a bit of heat on the Devils regarding whether they would suspend him or keep him on the roster, so he had an ample amount of motivation to silence Olivia. Derek didn’t want to rock the boat in the Devils organization like Olivia wanted him to and rather than going up to her home to scare her off of his back, he ended up pushing her to her death, an event that embedded itself in his subconscious and helped inspire his relapse.
But wait: Derek is part of the central love triangle on Hit the Floor and there’s just no way that they would sully that by having him kill someone, even accidentally. His relationship with Ahsha played a huge part in season two and since they’ve already leaned on Derek’s addiction issues to complicate things between the two of them, adding something like this and completely severing the chance that he and Ahsha were to get back together just feels like too much. “Dersha” might be dead for the moment, but there’s too much between Derek and Ahsha for Hit the Floor to throw in a murder and obliterate arguably one of the vital components of its identity.
Final verdict: Derek cares too much about basketball and Ahsha to get mixed up with Olivia Vincent.

Oscar Kincade
Could he…?: If Olivia were to go to the press with what she knew about Oscar’s financial improprieties and penchant for lending his girls out to other high rollers, it would have obliterated his tremendously successful empire and possibly forced him to give up the Devils for good. The show has spent the entire season pointing to the fact that Oscar isn’t afraid to kill to get what he wants and has the most to gain from Olivia being kept silent, so with him already pinning the crime on Chase with the shovel, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to have him be the one directly responsible for Olivia’s death.
But wait: Oscar Kincade doesn’t get his hands dirty, so he just doesn’t seem like someone who would not only go to Olivia’s house himself but push her to her death. He’s more about using his resources to get what he wants and since he wasn’t the one to kill Mia in order to keep her from talking, it’d be out of character for him to be suddenly front and center on jobs like this, especially when you consider the similarities between Mia and Olivia’s appearance and personal history. Having him connected to the death itself rather than the covering up would be believable; him breaking the pattern he has with his girls and putting his dreams of a new arena in danger simply isn’t.
Final verdict: Oscar is a bad man who deserves jail time, possibly some for his connection to Olivia’s murder, but is he the one who gave Olivia the final shove? I don’t think so.

Jude Kincade
Could he…?: Jude is desperate for the approval of his father. Be it their lack of a relationship, his insecurity about his sexuality, or his desperation to move up in a testosterone-dominated field, he would do anything to prove himself to Oscar and to keep his father in power. He’s already hinted to Zero that he’s done bad things in the name of helping Oscar and he has two very distinct reasons for wanting to keep Olivia from speaking to the press: he wanted her to back down in order for the arena to still be in play and he knew that Olivia knew about him, Derek, and the coke. Even if it was ultimately something that he didn’t mean to do, Jude killing Olivia would save his career, get him “in” with Derek (and thus, the rest of the Devils), and keep the chance of building a relationship with his father open. Were he to be the one responsible, it would cast a tragically ironic pall over the last few episodes, as Jude would have given up a promising career and many years of his life for a man who ultimately disowned him, and give the season just a little bit more punch than it had before.
Final verdict: Barring any last minute twists, look for Jude to be led away in handcuffs for the murder of Olivia Vincent, assuming Hit the Floor pivots away from an obvious-seeming suspect (Oscar) and toward someone that has motive but whose participation in the crime is a little more shocking.

The season finale of Hit the Floor airs Monday at 9:00 on VH1. The two consistently had conflict between them, with Jelena seeking to gain greater control over the Devil Girls and get one over on the woman who continually stood in her way, while her close relationship with Oscar only points to her being involved in some form or fashion, be it moving the shovel to Chase’s car or some other minor task. With Olivia gone, Jelena could have ran the Devil Girls in the way that she saw fit and become an even bigger figure in the sports world, yet would she go as far as killing her and helping Oscar cover it up?

On the season finale of Hit the Floor, Jelena gets questioned by the police now that they know the time that Olivia fell to her death. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have a great alibi and she quickly ends the meeting, the latter of which making her seem more guilty than she was beforehand. Jelena is someone who is so careful and calculated that seeing her not have a locked-and-loaded alibi is disconcerting, but does that necessarily mean that she had something to do with Oscar’s death? After all, she’s not been completely on her game this season with the reappearance of her mother, Ahsha’s continued rise, and her separation from Terrence, so there’s room for her to make a mistake and reason enough for her to not be as absurdly prepared as she normally is. Or could it mean that she knows more about what happened the night of Olivia’s death than she’s let on and doesn’t want the party responsible to zero in on her next?

Elsewhere on Hit the Floor, the Devils face off with Boston in the deciding game of the finals, while alliances are tested as the police close in on Olivia’s murder.

The season finale of Hit the Floor airs Monday at 9:00 on VH1.

Who do you think killed Olivia Vincent? Is the person who actually killed Olivia going to be arrested or could we be looking at a potential frame job? Will the Devils pull off the win against Boston and give Terrence, Derek, and Pete their first titles?

He’s spent his entire life working to get to this point and to go his full professional career without a championship series would’ve been devastating to his sense of self-worth, so to possibly be one run of games away from hoisting up a trophy is everything he could’ve hoped for from this season. But there’s the whole matter of his leg injury to worry about, both in terms of the impact it has on his play and the possibility of it becoming public knowledge. How would Terrence deal with the potentially career-ending injury he’s been struggling with this season becoming public knowledge?

On the next episode of Hit the Floor, word of Terrence’s injury gets leaked to the press before the start of the finals, giving Boston enough time to change their defensive strategy. Now they have the chance to lean on the Devils superstar and exploit his bum leg on the road to the championship, forcing Terrence into the role of liability when he thought he would be leading the charge to gold. The major question, though, is who was the one responsible for the leaking, since the only people who knew about it were Jelena, Terrence, and Derek. With Jelena and Derek both standing by their guy during this difficult time, it seems unlikely that either of them would be behind the betrayal, which leads Jelena to point the finger at Zero, as he has motive in pushing Terrence from the starting lineup. But even if Zero did overhear something about the injury and does have reason to hobble Terrence for the finals, does that necessary mean that he was the one to leak the injury to the press? Or could there be someone else looking to keep Terrence Wall from becoming a f

Elsewhere on Hit the Floor, Kyle is pushed into betraying a friend, while Lionel has it out with Sloane over Pete, Oscar delivers startling news, and Derek backs out of being Jude’s alibi for the time Olivia died.

Do you think Zero was the one behind the leak of Terrence’s injury? Will Kyle’s betrayal put Raquel and Sloane in more danger? Why would Derek back out on protecting Jude?

Created by James LaRosa (Shank!), Hit the Floor follows the Los Angeles Devils, a professional basketball team with more action going on off the court than on. Season two of the primetime soap, which became VH1’s scripted centerpiece following the cancellation of Single Ladies, has focused on the love trapezoid that includes Devils coach Pete Davenport (Dean Cain) and Devil Girls director Sloane Hayes (Kimberly Elise), as well as the continued rivalry between Devil Girls Ahsha Hayes (Taylour Paige) and Jelena Howard (Logan Browning) and how the mysterious death of a former Devil Girl ties into the suspicious death of former Devil Girls director Olivia Vincent (Charlotte Ross).

As was the case last season, it’s as yet unclear who will make it to the next season of Hit the Floor. Tensions on the Devils squad could leave Zero out in the cold, assuming Terrence and Derek’s rekindled relationship holds pat, while Sloane and Raquel have been gunning for Oscar, Kyle’s edging dangerously close to the lifestyle that got Mia killed, and emotionally volatile Lionel might not be able to handle being around the Devils organization if things work out for Pete and Sloane. But if there’s any constant in Devils Nation, it’s that anything can happen and the one person you thought would always be there could be gone in an instant.

Hit the Floor airs Mondays at 9:00 on VH1. The third season of the series, which will feature 10 episodes, should premiere in the spring of 2015.

Will you be watching the third season of Hit the Floor? What type of event would you like to see the season structured around? Of the current characters floating in and around the Devils universe, who do you think is in the most danger of not making it to season three?

She knew that she didn’t want to do anything to get in the way of her ex’s dream coaching job, while he realized that trying to win her back would be fruitless, that neither of them would have been happy if they were forced to be together. Their connection, as sturdy as it might be to survive the heat from the Devils organization, has also caused Ahsha’s relationship with Derek to crumble to the point of destruction, but will she want to save her relationship at this point? Or will the cocaine incident, Derek’s overall lack of trust, and her need for stability over excitement push Ahsha back toward German?

Whenever she’s landed in trouble or gotten caught, as was the case with Raquel and Jude, she’s been able to wriggle her way free and continue pushing forward, her eye on securing the justice that the Devils owner has evaded for decades. However, the further Sloane goes down the rabbit hole, the more danger she’s putting herself into and the more important each successive move will be, meaning that one hesitation, one wrong guess and she could be in hot water.

On the next episode of Hit the Floor, Sloane goes snooping around Olivia’s mansion, thinking that she has free reign with Olivia gone and Chase locked away. Gone are the crime scene tape and the prying eyes of the Vincent neighbors, but for the first time in her investigation, Sloane got sloppy and allowed herself to be exposed. What she didn’t count on was someone else being in the house at the same time – in this case, Chase, who managed to get out of jail even after signing the plea deal from Oscar. If Chase was the one to kill his wife, Sloane is trapped in a dark mansion with someone with a violent streak and a reason to stop her investigation dead in its tracks; if Chase was innocent, though, Sloane might have an ally in her quest to bring Oscar down, which would give her yet another weapon that she could use to strike the killing blow against the Devils owner. But will Chase point her toward evidence that she can use to A) prove that he wasn’t the one who killed Olivia and B) connect Oscar to Mia’s death and get him sent away for good?

Elsewhere on Hit the Floor, Jelena makes an unexpected decision, while Ahsha receives a big opportunity, German gets roped into doing an interview with Kendall, and Lionel faces her worst nightmare.

Hit the Floor airs Mondays at 9:00 on VH1.

How do you think Chase was able to get out of jail? Will German let something slip while at his interview with Kendall? What type of decision do you think Jelena makes that catches everyone in Devils Nation off guard?
While there might be cracks starting to show in her icy veneer after the breakup with Terrence, Jelena is holding tight to the only way she knows how to live for fear of being pushed into a world that makes her uncomfortable. But what happens when she’s forced to confront a figment of her past?

On tonight’s episode of Hit the Floor, Jelena reunites with her mother after two years apart, though the reason is less about the Devil Girl captain discovering that she is, indeed, human and more about who Olivia left her 10% stake in the squad. It might not be surprising that Olivia found a way to get one over on Jelena from beyond the grave, but it’s a situation that Jelena has to resolve in order to seize control of the squad. If she’s going to get rid of Sloane and Ahsha, she’s got to have that 20% (the other 10% from her deal with Oscar), so for the chance to rule over the Devil Girls and dispatch those who trespass against her, Jelena is going to have suck it up and convince her mother to sell her share.

Elsewhere on Hit the Floor, Ahsha deals with the realities of being Derek Roman’s girlfriend, while Sloane finds herself a new ally and Kyle received an unexpected visit from someone from her past.

Hit the Floor airs tonight at 9:00 on VH1.

Why do you think Olivia left her stake in the Devil Girls to Jelena’s mother? Will Ahsha be able to handle the bad that comes along with being the girlfriend of a superstar? If Benny turns out to be Kyle’s visitor, is there a chance the two get back together?

She would keep her spot on the Devil Girls while getting to be with Derek; she had the good girl image and the coveted bad boy superstar. However, Jelena finally pieced together how to catch her in the act and has the bomb necessary to destroy Ahsha’s professional reputation. The only questions are when she’s going to use it and whether Ahsha has evolved enough in her time on the squad to outmaneuver Jelena and minimize the damage an exposure could do.

On the next episode of Hit the Floor, Ahsha and Derek get blindsided with news of their relationship going public on TMZ, something that should be the finishing blow to Ahsha’s brief dancing career and add to the mystique of the great Derek Roman. Jelena is the only Devil Girl permitted to be with players and she’s more than willing to flaunt that status to each and every member of the squad, but what she’s forgetting is the fact that Oscar cares about nothing more than money. If this news about Ahsha and Derek can fill up the stands and keep the team in the headlines, especially if Terence continues underperforming due to his knee injury, it might be worth bending the rules just this one time, in his mind. But would Ahsha continue seeing Derek when she knows that everyone else knows about their relationship and how the beginning of their time together was a secret?

Elsewhere on Hit the Floor, Jelena falls victim to one of her own moves, while Kyle inches closer to paying Beau off and a setback plagues Sloane’s investigation of the Devils organization.

Hit the Floor airs Mondays at 9:00 on VH1.

Will Ahsha’s relationship with Derek survive such a public exposure? What will Beau do now that the woman he likes is almost ready to free herself of him? Is Sloane getting in too deep with her investigation?

Whether it be professional jealousy or insecurity at the thought of not being the focus of the Devil Girls for the first time in four years, Jelena’s relentlessness is something to be both admired and feared, yet Ahsha doesn’t seem to want to retaliate. Jelena could handle a battle of wills with the Devil Girls newbie, but she doesn’t know what to make of somebody not fighting back and avoiding conflict whenever possible. That doesn’t mean that Jelena is any less focused on getting Ahsha off this squad, though. She just has to go about it in a different way.

On the next episode of Hit the Floor, Zero inquires just why Jelena, who has been in control of the Devil Girls for years, deems Ahsha to be such competition. What he doesn’t know is that Ahsha has grown smarter and less naïve since she entered the Devils organization, meaning that Jelena can’t simply raise enough hell to run her out of town; she has to go about this more intelligently, especially since she knows about the relationship with Derek and can use Sloane’s presence as the ultimate weapon. Ahsha and her mother might not be as close as they once were, but seeing Jelena going after Sloane might be the thing to force her to engage in this feud, which plays right into Jelena’s strengths. And while Jelena can go cerebral in her battles with aspiring Devil Girls, she feels like she’s ready to deliver the knockout blow and something like exposing Ahsha’s relationship would be far too easy a card to play.

Elsewhere on Hit the Floor, a stunning development marks Sloane’s investigation, while Terrence makes a huge decision that will impact his playing career, Jude teams up with Zero, and Lionel’s true motives in returning to Pete’s life are exposed.

Hit the Floor airs Mondays at 9:00 on VH1.

Why do you think Jelena can’t let go of this competition with Ahsha? What type of decision will Terrence make and will it be a positive thing for his playing time? How will Pete react when he learns the real reason Lionel’s back in his life and messing with his relationship?
