Created by Tim Kring (Heroes) and Gideon Raff (Homeland), DIG focuses on FBI agent Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs), who takes a job in Israel to escape his personal demons and give himself the type of fresh start that he needed. However, while attempting to solve the death of a young American, Peter discovers a conspiracy that goes back thousands of years and threatens to change the course of history as we know it.

In addition to Isaacs, DIG also stars Anne Heche (Save Me), Regina Taylor (The Unit), David Costabile (Low Winter Sun), Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), and Omar Metwally (Non-Stop).

Created by Sean Jablonski (Nip/Tuck), Satisfaction follows married couple Neil (Matt Passmore) and Grace Truman (Stephanie Szostak) as they confront the issues that had been dragging their relationship down. After Neil catches Grace cheating on him with a male escort, he attempts to figure out where their marriage went wrong and how they can get back to where they used to be. The series, which averaged over two million viewers in L+7 numbers, also stars Michelle DeShon (Hollywood Heights), Katherine LaNasa (Deception), and Blair Redford (The Lying Game).

Rush starred Tom Ellis (EastEnders) as Dr. William Rush, a hard-partying medical fixer who served the Los Angeles elite. From Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies), the series featured Larenz Tate (Rescue Me), Sarah Habel (Underemployed), and Rick Gonzalez (Reaper).

Production on the 10-episode second season of Satisfaction should begin next year, with the series likely returning that summer.

Satisfaction joins a scripted lineup that includes conspiracy drama Dig, EMT comedy Sirens, and legal drama Suits, with decisions on Graceland, Royal Pains, Covert Affairs, and Playing House still to be made.

Created by Michaela Watkins (Trophy Wife) and Damon Jones (Halfway Home), Benched follows distinguished corporate attorney Nina Whitley (Eliza Coupe), who hits her breaking point when she learns about her ex-fiancée’s engagement and the fact that she didn’t make partner at her firm. Shunned from the corporate world, Nina can only get a job at the Public Defender’s office and must find a way to get along with her overworked co-workers who lack her professional pedigree, in addition to handling the decidedly less sophisticated clientele that she’ll be dealing with.

In addition to Coupe, Benched stars Jay Harrington (Better Off Ted), Oscar Nunez (The Office), Maria Bamford (Adventure Time), Jolene Purdy (Under the Dome), and Carter McIntyre (Drop Dead Diva), with the likes of Chris Parnell (Suburgatory), Fred Melamed (The Crazy Ones), and Jim Rash (Community) slated to guest star.

“Complications is a story about the making of a hero – how an ordinary doctor’s split-second decision changes the course of his life and the lives of everyone around him,” said series creator Matt Nix.  “It’s tremendous to be working with USA again and with such a talented cast.  The writers’ room is going strong and I cannot wait for audiences to see this new series.”

Executive produced by Michael Horowitz (Burn Notice), Complications centers on suburban ER doctor John Ellison (Jason O’Mara), who intervenes in a drive-by shooting and saves a young boy in the process. However, Ellison killed one of the attackers and soon learns that the boy is the son of an influential gang leader, thereby putting a target on them both.

In addition to O’Mara, Complications also stars Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl) as reckless ER nurse Gretchen; Beth Riesgraf (Leverage) as John’s wife Samantha; and Lauren Stamile (Burn Notice) as Bridget, John’s co-worker who is forced to deal with the fallout from his decisions.

Complications is set to premiere sometime in 2015. The series joins the likes of Suits, Sirens, and Dig on USA’s 2015 slate.

Averaging 1.62 million viewers, 870,000 in the key 25-54 demo, Sirens became the top new basic cable comedy series debut of the year. The series, executive produced by Denis Leary (Rescue Me) and Bob Fisher (Wedding Crashers), was the first original scripted comedy to launch under the network’s current push in the genre and showed ratings growth throughout its first season despite losing its lead-in halfway through. Renewal news for USA’s second original scripted comedy Playing House, which airs its season finale June 17th, has yet to be announced.

USA has been working overtime to diversify its programming beyond the so-called “blue skies” approach that vaulted it to the top of the cable heap. Last year, it premiered a darker procedural in Graceland, which is said to become fully serialized in its recently premiered second season, while picking up male escort drama Satisfaction, reality series Chrisley Knows Best, and two comedies in Sirens and Playing House.

After intervening in a drive-by shooting and killing one of the attackers, he learns that the young boy he saved is still being targeted for death; though he vows to protect the boy at any cost, his views on life and medicine begin to shift almost immediately, possibly causing a fundamental shift in who he is as both a man and a doctor. In addition to O’Mara, Complications stars Beth Riesgraf (Leverage), Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl), and Demetrius Grosse (Banshee).

Satisfaction finds married couple Neil (Matt Passmore) and Grace Truman (Stephanie Szotak) struggling with questions about their relationship and battling with the idea that having it all might not be enough to keep them together. Anne Heche has signed on to play Lynn,  the head of the FBI office in Jerusalem, and the boss – and occasional lover – of Jason Isaacs’s character, Peter.  While investigating the murder of a young female archaeologist, Peter uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years old.

Heche’s character is described as tough and unafraid to rip into her team when they slip up, though she also has a sense of humor and softer side.

Heche recently finished a brief run on NBC’s Save Me.  Her other televisio credits include Men In Trees, Hung, and Lifetime movie Gracie’s Choice.  

Dig comes from co-creators Tim Kring of Heroes and Gideon Raff of Homeland, who executive produce with Gail Berman and Gene Stei of Tecumseh Productions.  The project is set to film in Israel and air later this year.

The eighth season of Psych is set to premiere Wednesday, January 8th at 9:00 with an episode that finds Gus and Shawn traveling to London and coming face-to-face with Despereaux. Other episodes this season include “A Nightmare on State Street” and a remake of season one episode “Cloudy with a Chance of Murder,” while season eight guest stars include Mira Sorvino, Anthony Michael Hall, and Phylicia Rashad. Season five of White Collar returns from hiatus on Thursday, January 9th at 9:00 with four new episodes. While Neal continues to be blackmailed by Curtis Hagen, he, Rebecca, and Mozzie get closer to cracking the Mosconi Codex and a dangerous secret gets revealed.

The third season of legal drama Suits returns Thursday, March 6th at 9:00 with the firm’s future in doubt after the murder trial and Louis threatening to expose Mike. Guest stars will include Zeljko Ivanek, Jamey Sheridan, Damon Gupton, and Patrick Fischler. Sirens premieres Thursday, March 6th at 10:00 with back-to-back episodes. The series follows three Chicago EMTs (sports nut Johnny, outspoken Hank, and new recruit Brian) as they balance their unruly personal lives with successful professional lives. Additionally, they often intersect with Theresa, a Chicago PD officer who’s also Johnny’s ex-girlfriend. Guest stars for the 10-episode first season include Jean Smart, Loretta Devine, Bill Nunn, Lenny Clarke, Nora Dunn, and John Scurti.

Jason O’Mara, known for his roles in ‘Vegas’ and ‘Terra Nova’ is headed towards the USA Network as he has been appointed to play an ER doctor in the Network’s drama pilot, named ‘Complications’ by Matt Nix. The drama pilot is being produced by the Fox Television Studios.

According to Nix, Complications is about a cynical Resident ER named Dr. John Ellis, the character played by O’Mara. The life of Ellis has transformed after his involvement in a gang shooting incident, when he is enforced to discover the pro-activeness with which a doctor can treat and diagnose according to his patient’s medical condition. He voluntarily gets involved in a drive-by shooting incident, in an attempt to save the life of a young boy and ends up killing one of his attackers. And when he gets to know that the little boy is eventually headed towards death, he is compelled to save him, resulting in a life-transformation for him as a doctor and his outlook for medicine.

Matt Nix, who has recently finished seven seasons of Burn Notice, is going to write and executive produce this drama show for Fox Television Studios. O’Mara will be seen for his recurring role on The Good Wife and was seen in CBS’ period drama Vegas, last year. In the year 2011, O’Mara starred in one of the most expensive shows on Fox, the sci-fi drama Terra Nova. Other shows to his credits are inclusive of The Agency, Band of Brothers, and Life on Marsand features Resident Evil: Extinction. Jason will also be lending his voice for Batman in the animated film Justice League: War.
