Pride aside, Cleveland goes to Robert for advice on how to impress Freight Train and get his attention. All Cleveland wants is validation from his father and to get that, he’ll have to get along with his “brother” and prove that he’s not bothered by the new family situation. Freight Train has proven that he doesn’t care about Cleveland’s feelings on anything; however, he knows that he has the power to control how his son feels. Without that control, their dynamic could dramatically shift for the better.

Elsewhere on The Cleveland Show, Rallo and Junior are in debt to Donna and have to figure out a way to pay her back. They come up with the idea to become “dog bounty hunters,” picking up lost poodles and returning them to their owners for reward money. While they might be able to pay their mother back, they could get a little too invested in their new identities and have to be pulled back from the brink by Donna.

The scheduling shuffle, highlighted below, could mean that there’ll be a different look to the line-up in the fall of 2013. Bob’s Burgers certainly has the episodes to spare for something like this, having already been renewed for a fourth production cycle, and it might be getting groomed to inherit the post-Family Guy time slot from American Dad. Meanwhile, the situation for The Cleveland Show is a little more shaky; not only has FOX ordered a new animated series (Murder Police), they’ve not yet renewed Cleveland for another production cycle. Generally, animated shows need about nine months to produce a 22-episode season, so no news before the new year could mean that the double new episodes are being burned off.

The network could still order an abbreviated fifth season of the Seth McFarlane comedy, a Family Guy spin-off that has been trapped in the 7:30 slot for some time, but given its recent syndication, that’s looking less like a possibility.

Bob’s Burgers returns from winter hiatus January 6th at 8:30, while The Cleveland Show returns January 13th at 7:30.

Tough-minded Roberta may want to do something on her own to prove herself to her mother, but even she can only stand so much and it’s only a matter of time before she quits for good or explodes on him. She does manage to do a little good in her time at the mall, though, as she gets Kendra to assume the role of Santa when it looked like there wouldn’t be one that year. Will that good karma get her the purse after all?

Meanwhile on The Cleveland Show, Cleveland has discovered that the food at the local homeless shelter is better than the food at home, so he decides to pretend to be homeless in order to keep eating there. The whole reason he was there in the first place was to help Cleveland Jr. and Rallo in their effort to give back, but once the people at the shelter find out that he’s not actually homeless, Cleveland will be the one receiving pay back.

Featuring guest-voices Nick Offerman, Rachel Dratch, and David Constabile, the winter finale of The Cleveland Show airs Sunday at 7:30 on FOX. The show will be resuming its current season on Sunday, January 13th.

On the next episode of The Cleveland Show, titled “A Vas Deferens Between Men & Women,” Donna is feeling pressure from turning 42 and the ticking of her biological clock has only gotten louder. As a result, she decides that she wants to have another baby, her third and first with Cleveland. The two have been married for a few years now and part of Donna could be wanting to make their family “complete” by producing a child; their blended family has, for the most part, worked out, but it’s another thing entirely to throw a new baby into the mix. Is her relationship with Cleveland strong enough at this point to handle the stress of a fourth child?

However, there’s one major flaw in her plan to revisit the joys of new motherhood. Six months ago, Cleveland got a vasectomy thanks to a drunken game of truth or dare with Holt, Tim, and Lester and didn’t know about it until they filled him in on it. Of course, a vasectomy can be reversed, but Cleveland doesn’t want to tell Donna that he got one without talking to her first, particularly if he gets to enjoy the spoils of trying for a baby without the threat of actually having a baby.

He can’t outsmart Donna for too long and once she finds out that he had been lying to her about the vasectomy, she decides to pay him back by pretending to be pregnant.

Elsewhere on The Cleveland Show, Rallo lands the lead role in the Stoolbend Community Theater production of “Annie.”

The Cleveland Show will be celebrating Thanksgiving for the second time in two weeks on Sunday, but how will these leftovers taste?

On the next episode of The Cleveland Show, Cleveland has decided to teach Junior the value of hunting for one’s own food. Even though the boy doesn’t want to harm anything, he’s taken to a local turkey farm to bring home the family Thanksgiving dinner. Only something goes wrong and a turkey accidentally shoots Cleveland, which has a surprising effect; the elder Brown has a change of heart and attempts to free the other birds at the farm. With the farmer close by and plenty of noise that could come from the animals, will Cleveland and Jr. make it out safe, sound, and (not) shot?

Elsewhere on The Cleveland Show, Donna and Rallo are making a float for the Stoolbend Thanksgiving Day Parade, but soon enough, things get a little tense. Rallo doesn’t agree with Donna’s traditional artistic vision for the float and begins adding different elements to make it stand out, including googly-eyes, pink paint, and bubble wrap. Donna, who is trying to show-up Arianna with the float, isn’t a fan and brings in Project Runway personality Tim Gunn to assess the situation. Unfortunately, he doesn’t agree with her distaste for the float, but it’s safe to say that the float will be changed.

Also featuring the voices of Bryan Cranston and John Slattery, The Cleveland Show airs Sunday at 9:30 on FOX due to the NFL double-header and subsequent post-game coverage lasting until 8:00. The show, which normally airs at 7:30, will replace American Dad for the week; the latter is off on Sunday before returning December 2nd.

That’s because during the episode, he ends up in a plane without a pilot and has to figure out a way to land. In order to make it home safely, he’ll have to put his trust in Holt and Holt’s drill sergeant father (guest star Will Arnett), who will be working to keep Cleveland calm and instruct him on how to land. Holt wasn’t able to spend the holiday with his family in a traditional sense, but going through an experience like this with his father might be better for their relationship, as they’ll have to lean on one another for once and see what the other is made of.

Speaking of Holt, due to spending the holiday alone, Cleveland asks him to babysit Rallo while the rest of the gang helps open an airport pub. Holt finds out, though, that it might not be such a bad arrangement, as Rallo proves to be quite the little chick magnet and provides him with plenty of material in which to use to pick up women. The holidays can be quite a lonely time if you don’t have a strong support system, but I have a feeling that Holt will be doing fine without being around the family this year. And since he’ll get to join forces with his father to help Cleveland, he might be able to get the family bonding without the drama, fighting, and tension that tends to come at the Thanksgiving dinner table.

Tonight on The Cleveland Show, Cleveland will be faced with an opportunity to get revenge on former collaborator Kenny West. After the rapper, who has rocketed to superstardom since his last appearance, cheats Cleveland out of royalties from “Be-Cleve In Yourself”, it’s discovered that he’s involved in the Hip-Hop Illuminati. Several members looking to get Kenny out of the secret society come to Stoolbend, nearly begging Cleveland to kill Kenny’s career due to an inflated ego and a lack of focus on their primary objective.

Rather than go along with the rest of the Illuminati in raising gas prices or spreading their message through their music, Kenny’s more concerned with ostrich riding, parmesan hats, and giant remotes; however, since he’s the biggest star out of the entire society, they can’t exactly overthrow him themselves. By initiating Cleveland and getting him into the innermost depths of their organization, the four other stars want a close proximity to Kenny to lead to Cleveland doing their dirty work for them. Cleveland knew Kenny when he was a regular guy rapping in the mall, so it’ll take a lot for him to pull the trigger on ruining a career he knows took hard work to build up.

Elsewhere on The Cleveland Show, Cleveland Jr. starts a polka band after being rejected from the marching band at school. While his father is going behind the curtain of the music industry and palling around with the who’s who of the urban music scene, Cleveland Jr. is getting firsthand experience on stage and in front of audiences. However small (or imaginary) they may be, of course. Will he have the talent (and connections to musicians adept at polka) to make the band anything but a disaster?
