Through April 6th, full current seasons of the likes of Nashville, The Neighbors, and Grey’s Anatomy will be posted on Hulu, ABC.com, and the WATCH ABC app, available on iOS, Kindle Fire and select Android devices. The move is designed to help several key shows produced by the network get additional sampling or find a live ratings boost in the final months of the regular season. Involved in the Binge Watch Week are more than a few bubble shows and each additional eye they pick up will go a long way toward securing additional seasons, so if you were thinking of watching something but kept putting it off or fell behind on watching something you enjoy, now is the time to strap yourself to the couch and marathon away.

Below is a list of every show involved in Binge Watch Week, as well as corresponding links to watch episodes.

ABC reveals its 2014 schedule Tuesday, May 13th. They’re currently the only network that has yet to give an early renewal to one of their veteran shows, though the likes of Once Upon a Time, Grey’s Anatomy, and Scandal are all locks for a spot on the 2014-2015 schedule.

Which shows will you be catching up on during Binge Watch Week? Do you think that this will make a difference in the ratings for any show involved? How do you expect the network to treat their remaining bubble shows as far as what they choose to renew and what they choose to cancel?

The network’s slow descent into the doldrums of summer begins Thursday, April 3rd with the season (and likely series) finale of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland; Wonderland is one of three ABC shows that will conclude before the beginning of May sweeps, as The Neighbors concludes its second season on Friday, April 11th and Scandal will end its third season Thursday, April 17th following a cut episode order. Otherwise, it’s a pretty standard staggered schedule, no night concluding all at once and most of the finales concentrated in the second week of May. The series debuted this past Sunday to a mighty 3.8 in the 18-49 demo, easily making it the network’s number one drama of the week and reinvigorating a Sunday lineup that had been fairly dormant for the past season and a half.

The network hopes that by reairing the pilot, they can get the show sampled even more than it already was and stave off the drop that comes with every new show’s second episode. If ABC is able to keep Resurrection at an acceptable ratings level through its eight-episode first season, there’s a chance that the show could be brought back this fall for a 22-episode second season, likely with Once Upon a Time and Revenge on either side. It’d allow ABC to focus its attention on other nights and strengthen its drama roster, but is the concept, outlined below in the pilot description, flexible enough to handle the strain of a 22-episode season?

“The Returned”
An 8-year-old American boy (Landon Gimenez) wakes up alone in a rice paddy in a rural Chinese province with no idea how he got there. Details start to emerge when the boy, who calls himself Jacob, recalls that his hometown is Arcadia, and an Immigration agent, J. Martin Bellamy (Omar Epps), takes him there. The home he claims as his own is occupied by a 60-year-old couple, Henry (Kurtwood Smith) and Lucille Langston (Frances Fisher), who lost their son, Jacob, more than 30 years ago.

While they look different, young Jacob recognizes them as his parents. Lucille is overjoyed at the seeming miracle of her son’s reappearance. Henry is reluctant to accept that Jacob is back. Those closest to the family want answers, including Sheriff Fred Langston (Matt Craven), whose wife Barbara drowned 30 years ago while trying to save Jacob, and Fred’s daughter, Maggie (Devin Kelley), a local doctor. Pastor Tom Hale (Mark Hildreth) seeks a spiritual reason for what’s happening in his community. When things take an even more shocking turn, Maggie’s life-long friend, Elaine Richards (Samaire Armstrong), finds herself drawn into Arcadia’s growing mystery.

Resurrection airs Sundays at 9:00 on ABC. You can check out a preview of the second episode below.

The series, based on the novel “The Returned” by Jason Mott, tells the story of residents of a small Missouri town dealing with their loved ones returning from the dead, a similar premise to last year’s The Returned, which aired on Sundance. In both series, the mystery of why (and how) those who return from the dead came back soon envelopes their respective towns, causing a mixture of fear, paranoia, and heartache among the town residents.

Listed below are the dates, titles, and descriptions of the first two episodes of Resurrection.

Sunday, March 9th – “The Returned”

Sunday, March 16th – “Unearth”
The Langstons, especially Sheriff Fred, are forced to confront secrets from their past they’d rather leave buried when Bellamy pushes to have Jacob’s tomb exhumed. Maggie agrees to help Bellamy in his investigation, and Pastor Tom reaches out to Jacob, his childhood friend. The Richards family adjusts to Caleb’s return, the second for Arcadia. But unlike Jacob, Caleb claims he has no memory of his death.

The series premiere of Resurrection airs Sunday, March 9th at 9:00 on ABC.

Will you be watching Resurrection? How do you think the newly released promos make the show look? Can the show escape the shadow of The Returned and find an audience on increasingly difficult Sundays?

With more networks delving into scripted programming than ever before, there are going to be quite a few options for ever the most discerning of viewers, so to help cut through the clutter and find the best that midseason 2014 has to offer, TVHackr has keyed in on 10 new series that have the potential to become strong staples for their networks. Whether it be a strong cast, promising concept, or intriguing enough trailer, these shows have something that caught our eye and made us want to see more.

Only included in the list, sorted in alphabetical order, are shows that will be making their series premiere in the coming months, whereas last year’s list was a mix of returnees and rookies. A list of midseason premiere and return dates can be found here.

Bitten (January 13th, Syfy)
Who’s in it: Laura Vandervoort, Greyston Holt, Greg Bryk, Paul Greene, and Steve Lund
What’s it about: The only female werewolf in existence and the ties that bind her to her pack.
Why?: The latest Canadian import for Syfy, Bitten looks to follow the lead of Lost Girl in spotlighting a sexy, butt-kicking heroine dealing with a major identity crisis.

Black Sails (January 25th, Starz)
Who’s in it: Toby Stephens, Luke Arnold, Zach McGowan, Jessica Parker Kennedy, and Hannah New
What’s it about: Decades before Treasure Island, Captain Flint fights for the survival of a criminal haven.
Why?: Executive produced by Michael Bay and said to be a mix of literary characters with real life figures, Black Sails could be the splashy, audience-pleasing hit that Starz is looking for.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh19hCkvVLw

Enlisted (January 10th, FOX)
Who’s in it: Geoff Stults, Chris Lowell, Parker Young, Keith David, and Angelique Cabral
What’s it about: Three brothers living and working together on a Florida army base.
Why?: FOX’s upcoming military comedy has an amiable cast and the type of goofy, warm-hearted sense of humor that will pair well with Raising Hope.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpZ79FXs-eI

Helix (January 10th, Syfy)
Who’s in it: Billy Campbell, Hiroyuki Sanada, Kyra Zagorsky, Mark Ghanime, and Jordan Hayes
What’s it about: A CDC team gets called to an Arctic research base to look into a potential viral outbreak.
Why?: Helix promises a claustrophobic atmosphere that capitalizes on a premise not out of the realm of real life possibility.

Looking (January 19th, HBO)
Who’s in it: Jonathan Groff, Murray Bartlett, Frankie J. Alvarez, Scott Bakula, and Russell Tovey
What’s it about: Three friends living and loving in San Francisco.
Why?: Coming on the heels of increased support for same-sex marriage, the Andrew Haigh-directed dramedy is the first predominately LGBT series since the days of Queer as Folk, Noah’s Arc, and The L Word.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnGwmP8qg2c

Mixology (February 26th, ABC)
Who’s in it: Blake Lee, Vanessa Lengies, Sarah Bolger, Adam Campbell, and Andrew Santino
What’s it about: Six women and five men try to find love over the course of one night.
Why?: The intriguingly structured premise and cast of unknowns/potential breakouts make Mixology something that could flourish as it goes along.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEYP2O1nm4E

Penny Dreadful (April, Showtime)
Who’s in it: Josh Hartnett, Eva Green, Billie Piper, Timothy Dalton, and Helen McCrory
What’s it about: Classic horror characters grapple with alienation in Victorian London.
Why?: Showtime goes to the horror well by humanizing the things that go bump in the night and exploring what it’s like to live in a world where you don’t feel you belong.

Resurrection (March 9th, ABC)
Who’s in it: Omar Epps, Kurtwood Smith, Devin Kelley, Frances Fisher, and Samaire Armstrong
What’s it about: A small town is shaken to its core when former residents return from the dead, unaged since and unaware of their deaths.
Why?: Though its premise is eerily similar to Sundance’s The Returned, this ABC drama offers a slightly less creepy, slightly more hopeful version of events.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvaMQ7Umsc0

Star-Crossed (February 17th, The CW)
Who’s in it: Aimee Teegarden, Matt Lanter, Malese Jow, Grey Damon, and Titus Makin Jr.
What’s it about: A group of aliens get assimilated into a high school and a romance develops between an alien boy and human girl.
Why?: Best described as Roswell with an allegorical tinge, the show will rely heavily on the chemistry between the leads and the depth behind its set pieces.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DJ0kqEKIvc

The Red Road (February, Sundance)
Who’s in it: Martin Henderson, Julianne Nicholson, Jason Momoa, Allie Gonino, and Tom Sizemore
What’s it about: A sheriff finds himself partnering with a local Indian tribe as a way of covering up a crime committed by his wife.
Why?: Sundance went on an impressive hot streak with its 2013 scripted programming that The Red Road, with its unusual premise and intimate setting, looks to continue.
The latter centers on Revenge, which has struggled this season at 9:00 in the face of brutal competition and the perception of a sophomore slump yet to wear off; rather than keeping it in the same time slot and allowing it to continue to die, ABC has pushed the nighttime soap back at hour to 10:00. Beginning Sunday, March 9th, Revenge will occupy the 10:00 slot and drama Resurrection, which has a similar concept to Sundance’s The Returned, moves ahead an hour to 9:00.

Thursday, January 2nd sees the second season of cooking competition The Taste take over for The Quest, which was booted to summer, at 8:00 and limited series The Assets assume Scandal‘s 10:00 slot for eight episodes. The Assets is based on the book Circle of Treason: A CIA Account of Traitor Aldrich Ames and the Men He Betrayed by retired CIA officers Sandra Grimes and Jeanne Vertefeuille. While the next season of The Bachelor premieres Monday, January 6th at 8:00, Killer Women has been slated to debut Tuesday, January 7th at 10:00, taking over a slot that saw Lucky 7 become the first cancellation of the season last month. The series stars Tricia Helfer as a divorced former beauty queen who rises to the top of the Texas Rangers.

Third season comedy Suburgatory returns to Wednesdays on January 15th, when it will take over Back in the Game‘s 8:30 slot. The series is said to have 13 episodes this season following two seasons of being one of the more promising comedies on the network. The ABC Wednesday lineup will also see the debut of Mixology on February 26th at 9:30 when it assumes the post-Modern Family time slot from Super Fun Night. Starring the likes of Vanessa Lengies, Sarah Bolger, and Blake Lee, Mixology takes course over the span of one night at a Manhattan bar. Kyle Killen drama Mind Games, which stars Christian Slater and Steve Zahn, is set to be the final premiere of ABC’s season, picking up the Tuesdays at 10:00 slot from Killer Women beginning March 11th.

The only midseason series that wasn’t scheduled was The Black Box and it seems like that could end up moving to summer unless one of the midseason dramas stumbles or the network wants to replace something like Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Plans for what will replace Nashville during the country music drama’s planned hiatus have yet to be revealed, but with Black Box having 13 episodes, it doesn’t fit there. Also yet to be released is how ABC plans to handle Sundays between January and the beginning of March with Revenge and Once Upon a Time heading for hiatus soon.

What do you think about ABC’s midseason schedule? Did they make the right choice in moving Revenge back? Which ABC midseason shows will you be watching?

Reality adventure series The Quest, from the producers of The Amazing Race and Lord of the Rings, will premiere Thursday, January 2nd at 8:00 with a two-hour premiere before moving to Sundays at 8:00 for the duration of its run. Taking over for fall soap Betrayal will be Resurrection, a one-hour drama about an 8-year-old American boy reappearing 30 years after his supposed death; the show, which stars the likes of Omar Epps and Kurtwood Smith, will premiere Sunday, March 9th at 10:00.

The network revealed earlier this year plans to have each of its serialized dramas operate on a split-schedule, airing in two distinct chunks of episodes with little to no repeats. Today, they unveiled when the second chunks of each series will begin, though we don’t know what will be filling in the gaps during the time off. Nashville is the first to return on February 26th, with Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal beginning the second halves of their respective seasons the following day and Once Upon a Time and Revenge following on March 9th. The only fall drama without a split coming this season is Castle, but it has enough procedural elements and a loyal enough audience to where it might not need this type of scheduling.

You can check out ABC’s 2013 fall schedule here, as well as trailers for their new series this season here and fall premiere dates here.

What do you think about ABC’s plans to split their dramas into two halves vs. airing them in the on-off pattern of seasons past? Will this help stop the bleeding from Once Upon a Time and Revenge, while bolstering Nashville and keeping Scandal‘s momentum going? Where do you think the network’s other midseason programming will air?

Thursday, January 2nd
8:00-10:00 p.m. The Quest (special two-hour premiere)

Wednesday, February 26th
10:00 p.m. Nashville

Thursday, February 27th
9:00 p.m. Grey’s Anatomy
10:00 p.m. Scandal

Sunday, March 9th
8:00 p.m. Once Upon A Time
9:00 p.m. Revenge
10:00 p.m. Resurrection

Included are seven dramas and five comedies, including Once Upon a Time spin-off Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Rebel Wilson comedy Super Fun Night, and Resurrection, based on Jason Mott’s “The Returned.”

You can check out ABC’s 2013-2014 schedule here.

Which trailer do you think looks the best? Which looks the most disappointing? What will you be watching on ABC next season?

Back in the Game
Who’s in it: James Caan, Lenora Crichlow, Maggie Lawson, Ben Koldyke, and Griffin Gluck
What’s it about: Baseball might be America’s favorite pastime, but for the Gannon family it’s also in their blood.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cf3ttSBq09g

Betrayal
Who’s in it: James Cromwell, Stuart Townsend, Hannah Ware, Henry Thomas, and Chris Johnson
What’s it about: It started with a chance meeting at an art gallery. Photographer Sara Hayward and Attorney Jack McCutchen both felt it, a sudden spark and with it, an undeniable feeling of instant attraction. Both are married, albeit, unhappily to other people.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zR0A09sYrU

The Goldbergs
Who’s in it: George Segal, Jeff Garlin, Hayley Orrantia, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Troy Gentile
What’s it about: Before there were parenting blogs, trophies for showing up, or peanut allergies, there was a simpler, awesome time called the ’80s. For geeky 11-year old Adam (Darien Provost) these were his wonder years and he faced them armed with a video camera to capture all the crazy.

Killer Women
Who’s in it: Marc Blucas, Tricia Helfer, Michael Trucco, Alex Fernandez, and Marta Milans
What’s it about: Of all the notorious lawmen who ever patrolled the violent Texas frontier, none are more storied than the Texas Rangers. And none could be more macho. While the once all-male bastion now allows “lady rangers”, no one can say they are welcomed. Being the only female ranger in this elite squad isn’t going to stop Molly Parker (Tricia Helfer), she’s ballsy and badass enough to get the job done despite a good-ole network filled with harassment and discrimination.

Lucky 7
Who’s in it: Matt Long, Anastasia Phillips, Christine Evangelista, Lorraine Bruce, and Luis Antonio Ramos
What’s it about: Every day, across the country, Americans imagine what it would be like to strike it rich. They dream of new houses, new cars, new everything. It’s just a pipe dream. It could never happen to them……but what if it did?

Who’s in it: Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, and Elizabeth Henstridge
What’s it about: From executive producers Joss Whedon who also co-writes and directs the pilot, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, Jeffrey Bell, and Jeph Loeb comes Marvel’s first TV series. Witness the astonishing return of Agent Phil Coulson as he puts together a small, highly select, team to investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown secrets of our world as Agents of Shield.

Mind Games
Who’s in it: Christian Slater, Steve Zahn, Wynn Everett, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Cedric Sanders
What’s it about: Need help getting a job? How about convincing your daughter not to marry her loser boyfriend? Whatever it is you want, Clark (Steve Zahn) and Ross Edwards can help you get it. They’re not magicians, nor wishful thinkers. Clark and Ross are brothers and partners in a unique agency committed to solving clients’ problems using the hard science of psychological manipulation.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
What’s it about: Potential spin-off of the drama told through the point of view of Alice, of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” fame

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-ir6JhV2Zs

Resurrection
Who’s in it: Kurtwood Smith, Frances Fisher, Nicholas Gonzalez, Omar Epps, and Samaire Armstrong
What’s it about: What happens when the people you have mourned and buried suddenly appear on your doorstep as if not a day’s gone by? Would it be a miracle, madness and is it even real? The people of Arcadia are forever changed when their deceased loved ones suddenly start to return.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3dGcgHKru4

Who’s in it: Rebel Wilson, Liza Lapira, Kelen Coleman, Kevin Bishop, and Lauren Ash
What’s it about: All work and no play makes Kimmie a dull girl. No chance of this young junior attorney being called that. Kimmie Boubier (Rebel Wilson) and her two best friends Helen-Alice (Lauren Ash) and Marika (Liza Lapira) have a standing date every Friday night for the last 13 years. They even have a motto for what they call Friday Night Fun Night.
