I don’t even know where to begin. All season long this show brought the scares and this episode was no different.

First off, Dillon killed Mr. Matheson! That scene really terrified me. I really didn’t know what to expect when Remy, Luke, and Olivia went inside Mr. Matheson’s office but when they walked out and saw Ryan, bloody eyes guy, I knew things weren’t good. So Mr. Matheson knew about the pact. Very Interesting. Dillon had come to see Mr. Matheson and proceeded to stab him! Dillon put Rochelle’s coat, gloves and the knife in his bag and left. What a piece of garbage. I’m was actually really happy that Dillon ran off from the chapel and ran into Max in the woods. When she told him she was going to help him get away I knew something was going to happen. Dillon ended up tripping and falling on the train tracks and got run over by a train. Can’t say I’m all that sad about his demise.

I felt horrible for Olivia. Poor girl watched her boyfriend stab her own father. I actually cheered her on when she said she didn’t want the police to find Dillon. She wanted to find him and kill him. How is she supposed to deal with the fact that her boyfriend killed her father?

Hanna ended up coming to Ravenswood to see Caleb. Actually, Hanna originally came to talk to Miranda, but that would be impossible. Caleb finally told Hanna the truth about Miranda, that she was dead and that she was still there and he talks to her… that’s normal right? Of course Hanna didn’t believe Caleb. Who could blame her? I know I would have a hard time with that one.

Hanna: “I will crack your skull with a hammer if you say it’s complicated.”

Hanna ended up seeing Grunwald and Hanna told her that Caleb talks to Miranda. Grunwald was able to convince Hanna to stay a little while longer. Hanna then went to see Caleb again and told him the real reason she came to town was to fight Miranda. Okay, who would win in a fight, Hanna or Miranda? Go! When Caleb went off to talk to Luke on the phone (I assumed it was Luke), creepy child Max started talking to Hanna. Max convinced Hanna to come meet her friend. Caleb saw Hanna go off and ran after her. Of course Hanna was growing frustrated with Caleb and his lies. She just wanted to know what was going on.

Of course, this being Ravenswood we got to see creepy spider lady at the ice cream truck. Yum, I always like my ice cream with a side of spider.

Later on, Hanna was at the Collins place “talking” to Miranda. That scene was one of my favourites from the finale. Hanna said she was sure Caleb was in love with Miranda by what he said when he got back to Rosewood. It was such a sweet scene between the two of them. I really wished Hanna could have heard Miranda’s side of their “conversation.” I felt so bad for both Hanna and Miranda. Miranda is in love with Caleb, but Caleb is in love with Hanna and has always been trying to keep her safe.

Miranda: “He made you a promise. He’s just trying to keep it.”

Miranda: “I know how much he loves you, don’t ask me how. I just do.”

Remy went home to find her father and of course the lights went out in her house. I knew something was going to happen, I just didn’t think Dillon would have showed up, knocked her out and dragged her body out of the house. That boy… Well, he got what was coming to him. Then Caleb heard about Remy going missing and proceeded to run to Raymond’s office and told him.

There we learned some interesting things. Raymond didn’t know Dillon killed Mr. Matheson. Raymond told Caleb that the Collins men were always the ones to keep the children of the pact, hence the hair in the jars. Keeping the souls in escrow, as Caleb put it, until the contract was complete. Raymond told him whoever questioned the pact always got death. As hard as it was for Raymond, he sent Miranda away on purpose to protect her from everything. So after I went back and forth this entire time, Raymond was in fact a good guy after all. Creepy Collins no more!

The group then went to the chapel and found Dillon and Remy. Spider lady showed up and called Dillon her faithful servant. Then spider lady revealed herself to be Abaddon. We were then led to a showdown between Collins and Abaddon. Abaddon was then bringing Miranda back to life but Raymond wasn’t going to let that happen. Raymond told the group that Abaddon needed Miranda alive to kill the rest of them. They all needed to die together. Raymond ended up smashing Original Caleb’s jar to set him free.

Raymond: “She can come back but not this way.”

It was sad to see Hanna leaving town, but it was the best thing for her. She knew that and knew why Caleb needed to stay in Ravenswood. I wonder what’s next for these two?

Hanna: “I don’t think that the smart thing will make me as happy as you do.”

Hanna: “We know how to keep secrets.”

With all the craziness, I’m happy we ended on such a sweet note with Original Caleb and Miranda. Original Caleb saw Miranda on the park bench, then we were treated to a flashback between him and Original Miranda. What a way to go out. I hope you all enjoyed the winter finale as much as I did. I’m just so happy we got answers and I’m ecstatic that Miranda has someone she can actually feel. I can’t wait to see what else the Ravenswood crew has up their sleeves.

Just when I think the guy is evil, he does something nice to change my opinion, then he’s shady again and I don’t know what to think. First off, Collins replaced Luke and Olivia’s father’s vandalized headstone and continuously visited her in jail. They had quite the sweet moment reminiscing of old times. Apparently Rochelle made school tolerable for Ray. I really thought that scene humanized Raymond.

Raymond even posted Rochelle’s bail and she was able to get home to Luke and Olivia. Just when I thought he was such a nice guy and maybe these crazy kids would maybe find happiness together if that’s what they both wanted, Remy sees Raymond and Dillon in a car and it was pretty obvious Collins was not happy with Dillion. Oh boy! Both of them saw Remy and they drove off. Evil Collins is back on the table for me.

Speaking of Dillon, that guy is no good! Dillon finally showed up to Olivia’s house. Apparently Dillon’s parents shipped him off to Ministry camp. Dillon’s mom freaked out because she found condoms in his drawer. Olivia spilled to Dillon that Springer told her that Dillon made him put the knife that killed her father in Olivia’s backyard. Olivia was so confident in that scene, I was actually really proud of her. Then Dillon worked his charms over her. I literally yelled at my tv screen, “Don’t believe him Olivia!” That boy is cute, but proved to be bad news.

Luke confronted Dillon in the locker room at school. Freaky moment, Dillon yelled out loud and I believe the shower heads exploded off.

Dillon yelled, “You can’t hurt me, I’m not in this alone. I got backup. It means I found a way out, you can too.” That boy found a way out of the pact! He made a deal when he could. What is going on? How did he find a way out of the pact? Well, apparently lover boy sacrificed Olivia in order to save himself. Luke told Olivia this, and I just hope she has finally taken her blinders off where Dillon’s concerned.

So, Caleb started school. Yay! Some girls noticed Caleb talking to himself, because they obviously can’t see that he was talking to Miranda. I actually really liked that scene. It injected some much needed humour. Mr. Price or as I call him Mr. Hottie teacher, Caleb’s history teacher told him to be careful while working for Mr. Collins. Hmmm, ok.

Caleb later went to Collins office and begun rummaging through his things to find the keys to the small chapel on the property. When Caleb came back out, the body that was on the table wasn’t there anymore and he saw a ghost face in a jar and things started to shake and jars started to explode and he wasn’t able to exit the embalming room. Sometimes I have no idea what’s going on in this show.

Later on, Caleb and Miranda went inside the chapel. While in there a light from the window shined down on the ground and names appeared. Scudder, Dalton, Sanders, Watterman, Rivers, and Baker. The same names from Remy’s dream. Those were the names of the Elders that signed the pact. It just so happened that Dillon’s last name is Sanders.

The part that really gave me the chills was when Caleb went back in the chapel we saw the woman we had seen at the beginning of the episode with the spider coming out of her face. She disappeared and Caleb saw spiders all over the ground. What is happening?

Other tidbits in this episode. Remy got into some big trouble with her father. Remy had visited Springer in the hospital and she wanted him to come forward and tell the truth about the knife to the police. Remy ended up writing an article in the Gazette about Springer’s dad in exchange for him to tell the police. Well! Remy’s dad wasn’t too happy and he fired her from the paper.

There was a little bit of awkwardness when Luke figured out that Olivia and Dillon had sex. More weirdness was when Luke told Remy about Olivia and Dillon doing the deed. That conversation did open up the door to Luke and Remy having the sex conversation. Remy told Luke she wasn’t ready and wanted to wait till after high school. End of discussion, moving on…

I thought it was a really sweet moment when Miranda convinced Olivia to let Raymond help out Rochelle. Miranda told her Raymond was somewhat human and that he seemed to really care for Rochelle. I was inclined to believe that, until the end of the episode. I’m not sure about anything anymore.

With the winter finale airing next week, I really hope we get more answers because all of these questions are driving me mad!

What did you guys think of the episode? Bummed that there was no Grunwald this episode? I was! Sound off below!

I’d like to thank the writer of Tuesday’s episode, Sean Reycraft. You totally creeped the heck out of me, and I loved it! It was one heck of an episode.

Let’s get things started, shall we? To recap, there was a secret pact to help protect the soldiers from Ravenswood and keep them alive. The catch – 5 teens had to die per war, for every war and now Caleb, Olivia, Luke, Remy are the marked ones. The curse already got Miranda.

“Home is Where the Heart is” started off with Raymond at Olivia and Luke’s house in the middle of the night. Why is this guy always there? What is going on with Raymond and Rochelle? Then we had Remy drawing everything she saw from when the pact was being signed. You thought that was creepy? Remy woke up to find her room filled with those drawings and the words, “We Will Die” and “You will wish you were dead” written on them. Ok, I’m officially freaked out. Actually, scratch that. I was more freaked out when Remy went downstairs to discover the drawings were all over the kitchen too. Remy remembered drawing some of them, but she must have continued drawing in her sleep. Sleep drawing? Is that a thing?

Over at the Matheson household, the police had a warrant to search the house. Apparently Mr. Kessel was digging up the hedges and found a knife with a 3 sided blade. The same kind of knife that killed Luke and Olivia’s father and the same kind of knife that Remy was drawing. Freaky.

Caleb’s dad showed up to his place. Caleb’s dad had business in Ravenswood. You remember Henry Rivers, the man that passed away last episode? It turned out Caleb and his dad were his next of kin. Interesting.

After a little family reunion, Caleb went running over to Luke and Olivia’s house after Luke texted him about the cops being at their house. Caleb recognized Springer, the guy who used to work for Collins in the crowd of people that were watching the police take Rochelle to the police station for questioning. The police ended up taking Luke as well as he flew off the handle because his mother got hit in the head while she was being put in the squad car. While Luke was cooling down in a jail cell, a bizarre thing happened. (I do realize I said bizarre, since pretty much everything on this show is bizarre) The man in the cell beside him all of a sudden got up and told Luke, “You should not have seen. If thine eye offend thee pluck it out. You’re going to wish you were dead before this is over. And then, you’ll get your wish.” No joke, I got goosebumps.

Raymond Collins showed up to the Matheson’s house after Rochelle had called him to ask him to check up on Olivia. Olivia told Raymond the police found a knife and that she believed someone planted it. As much as I think Raymond is creepy, I don’t believe he’s up to no good. Side note: how many times now has Raymond just showed up to Olivia’s house?

Another day, another attack by a spirit. Miranda came face to face with Beatrice Meredith Stevens. Miranda went to Remy for help finding out what happened to Beatrice. Beatrice was Grunwald’s sister. Could she have been marked like them and wants this curse broken as much as the group does? Is Collins keeping Beatrice there?

Miranda tried to reach out to Beatrice and it worked. Well, sort of worked. Beatrice showed herself and said to Miranda “Don’t look at that.” Was she talking about that photo of Beatrice and the baby? Wait a minute. Beatrice wasn’t Grunwald’s sister. Miranda figured out that Grunwald was in fact Beatrice’s daughter! Beatrice was a teenager and got pregnant. Beatrice died at 17 with 4 others. Miranda tried talking to her about the pact but Beatrice told her to stop asking. Miranda pleaded with her but Beatrice wasn’t having any of it. I don’t think B wants the curse to be broken because she wants to be with her daughter. Unfortunately, Carla will die and leave Beatrice all alone. Is that what she really wants?

Back to Caleb and his dad. He told Jamie that he broke up with Hanna. Jamie was trying to convince Caleb to go back to Rosewood to try and get back with Hanna but Caleb wasn’t having any of it. Caleb told his dad he wasn’t going to leave Ravenswood. Jamie wasn’t leaving either as he inherited a house from Henry, seeing as Jamie and Caleb were Henry’s only living relatives. I didn’t like that Caleb was acting like a spoiled jerk, but he felt like he had to do it to protect his father. I was really happy Caleb went by to see his dad later on and extended an olive branch. Creepy thing #45 (not really counting, but I totally should be) happened. A bird came in the house and Jamie said the bird was too late. Caleb was confused and Jamie said, “A bird in the house means a death in the family.” I really hope it meant Henry.

Interesting thing happened. Springer went to Tess asking her what was going on? So, are Springer, Dillion, and Tess working together? I have no idea what’s going on.

Later, Luke went over to see Remy and saw all of her drawings. Later on that evening Remy recited “If thine eye offend thee, pluck it out” and tried to stab Luke as he slept on the couch. Girl gone crazy! She had been sleepwalking and ended up slashing her father by accident. That incident was the last straw and Remy was headed to the sleep clinic. Remy needs some help, but I don’t think that the sleep clinic is going to be very helpful.

Carla and Raymond’s conversation at the end was really insightful. Raymond told Grunwald he saw Springer and the poor guy was drowning and had no idea what he got himself into. Raymond believes Springer is going to do something stupid. Something someone will have to clean up. What is happening? So is Raymond a baddy? I can’t make up my mind about him. One person who has made up her mind about him was Olivia. She told her mother she had to stay away from Raymond. I have a feeling Rochelle is not going to listen to her daughter.

Looked like Springer was going off the deep end. Springer followed Olivia and was telling her all about Dillon. He was telling Olivia that he knows all sorts of stuff about Dillon and that all of this was her dad’s fault and if he would have done right by Springer’s dad everything would have been okay. I was happy Olivia kneed him, but I kind of wish she didn’t because I really wanted to know what he was going to say. Things didn’t work out too well for Springer because he ended up getting hit by a car. A car being driven by Tess! Was this all part of the plan? I need to know!

By the looks of that last scene, has Miranda figured out something about the curse? I can’t wait another week!

What did you guys think of the episode? Are your heads spinning as much as mine is? Sound off below!

Locks of hair in jars, check! A book bursting into flames, check! An extremely creepy little girl, check check!

“Revival” started off with a really sweet love scene between Original Caleb and Miranda, and then things turned very weird, like they usually do. Back in 1919, (I could be wrong) there was a meeting with the town elders who were making the pact where this famous curse we’re always hearing about first originated. Original Caleb’s dad, Thomas signed the pact but Original Miranda’s mother did not. She didn’t want to sacrifice the lives of the town’s children for the soldiers but nobody seemed to care and she left.

We learned that Dillion, Olivia’s boyfriend is working with the terrifying little child named Max. I really have no idea what’s going on with that. The creepy factor went up several notches when Dillion said to Max, “It’s the grinder for both of us.” I don’t know what that’s supposed to mean, but I don’t think it’s something good. The last scene had to be the creepiest though. We had Olivia basking in the afterglow, (more on that in a bit) and Dillion smiling to Max sitting in the back seat of his car while she was eating ice cream. Toto, we are not in Kansas anymore.

Other than being terrified, I felt so bad for Remy. Her dreams were definitely not sweet kind. First she falls asleep at the cafe and ends up screaming her lungs out while everyone in joint stared at her like she was some kind of crazy person. Later on, Remy’s mother told her all about lucid dreaming. Terry told Remy she had to sleep with her mind opened. Her mother told her she had to decide what happened in her dreams. Remy took her mother’s advice. She came up with the brilliant idea to have the group watch her while she slept and to not let her wake up. Olivia ended up going off with Dillion and had a little fun of her own. Remy started to sleepwalk and it took her right to the cabin where the pact was made. I definitely got the chills when Remy started to sing to words from the prayer book. As if things weren’t scary enough, a scarecrow started to attack Luke and Caleb wacked its head right off and stabbed it. After the reverend handed the pact to someone in a Hinchley, Trumbull and Collins vehicle, he turned into a Raven and Remy woke up. Not creepy at all…

We also learned the man and woman that the group found locked up in that secret room were Original Caleb’s father and Miranda’s mother. How did they get there?

As much as Raymond creeps me out, I don’t think he’s evil… I could be totally wrong but that’s how I feel right now. The same goes for Grunwald. I did love Miranda going all poltergeist on Grunwald. Grunwald stopping those spirits or whatever they were from attacking Miranda again was freaky. Later on Grunwald told a spirit that she loved it too. I definitely want to see where they’re going with that storyline.

Caleb ended up breaking up with Hanna to protect her. Yes, because that’s always the best solution. At least Lemy are back on track in the relationship department. Olivia slept with Dillion who’s clearly working against the group, but she doesn’t know that yet. Miranda clearly has feelings for Caleb and we learned she almost told him to stay with her. I think Caleb is very conflicted about his feelings.

I have so many questions about what the heck is going on with this show. I’m just going to watch and enjoy the creepy ride.

What did everyone think of the episode? Sound off below! What do you think about Raymond Collins and Luke and Olivia’s mom Rochelle? Was there a romance there before Rochelle married Luke and Olivia’s dad? I think Rochelle mentioned that her husband didn’t like Raymond. I’d really like to see more of that. Until next week!

Marlene King was right. I was definitely not prepared for the second episode of Ravenswood. Tuesday night’s episode, “Death and the Maiden” confused me, scared me, and you know what? I totally loved it.

It’s going to take me a while to comprehend what I just watched, but all I know is that this show is not playing around. I can’t get over the fact that Miranda is dead! Some weird Final Destination stuff is definitely going on and why is it always 5? So many questions.

How creepy is Miranda’s uncle Raymond? He could just be standing there and I get the chills. It was really nice of Raymond though to invite Caleb back to the house since Caleb didn’t have anywhere else to go. I think Raymond inviting him to stay had ulterior motives, but it was nice none the less. Raymond creeps me out, but Mrs. Grunwald creeps me out even more. Why did Mrs. Grunwald ask Caleb if he called Hanna? Why would she care? There has to be something going on there and why did Mrs. Grunwald ask Raymond, “When you went to the hospital, how many bodies did you expect to find?” Raymond and Mrs. Grunwald are so shady. I think they know something about the curse. They have to, right?

I don’t know what’s going on, but I do know that something is going after the rest of the group and will not stop at nothing until they are all dead. If the curse was supposed to get all 5, why did it just get Miranda? All I know is that the curse must be stopped. But how? Luke was almost choked to death while lifting weights and the dog at the junk yard almost attacked Remy after being mysteriously let out of the van. Which by the way, Caleb, that was very cruel to lock a dog in a car. I know, I know, it was trying to attack you. You’re forgiven this time. The curse was going after them, one by one. Who will be next?

Just like their kids, the parents were having their own problems. Remy’s father was incredibly determined to keep Remy away from Luke and Luke’s mother felt the exact same way. I’m going to need some answers there, because it seems like there’s something else going on there. Mrs. Matheson was having her own issues. Luke found out that his parents were having marital problems before his death and his mother might have been having an affair. Oh, did I mention that Luke’s father was the Mayor of Ravenswood? Something fishy is going on there.

Of course to freak me out even more, Miranda shows up at the end! I freaked out all episode long about her dying and she shows up after Caleb read the letter from her mom. How is it possible that Miranda is still around? Miranda is dead! I know it’s a creepy town, but still. I barely knew Miranda, but I was still felt sad for her. She was stuck and really scared. I did get a little teary eyed when Caleb apologized to Miranda for not being able to save her. That dream that Caleb had, had to be Miranda trying to get through to him. They barely knew each other, but the bond they share is interesting.

So, what did you guys think of the episode? Are you hooked yet? Or do you need a little more convincing? Who do you think the curse will get next? If the curse is getting everyone one by one, who will be left at the end of the season? Sound off below.

Tuesday night was the much anticipated series premiere of Ravenswood, the spin-off from Pretty Little Liars. I would say the hype surrounding the show was totally valid. “The One That Got Away” has infiltrated my mind just like this show has. I’ve never been so creeped out and intrigued by a television show before. One episode in and I’m already hooked.

While Pretty Little Liars has that mystery element to the show, I loved that Ravenswood has that supernatural flare to it. I didn’t think I could enjoy a show like that but I did. I’m just so intrigued and cannot wait to learn more about this curse and what everyone in this creepy town is hiding.

We were first introduced to Miranda in the Pretty Little Liars Halloween special before the airing of the Ravenswood pilot. Miranda met Caleb on a bus going to Ravenswood, where she was going to surprise her uncle Raymond. Maybe not such a bright idea considering it didn’t look like Raymond was the type of guy who enjoys a surprise of that magnitude. Raymond runs a funeral home, so the creep factor is set in right there. Miranda wanted answers from her uncle Raymond. Why did he leave her with strangers after her parents death? Raymond seemed to be hiding something also. Carla Grunwald, who works at the funeral home gives off such a freaky vibe but kind of sweet at the same time. I don’t really watch Pretty Little Liars anymore, but I’m sure if you’ve watched PLL before, you’ve seen her character. She knew a lot more than she was letting on about Miranda’s family. I’m looking forward to the development of that storyline.

I’m not sure about any of you guys, but if I saw my face on a tombstone with my exact name, I’m pretty sure I’d be a total nutcase. The freakiest was when the tombstones disappeared. Could it have been Raymond, Miranda’s uncle that got rid of them? I really don’t know what to think. I really do enjoy the friendship between Caleb and Miranda throughout all this craziness. They have good chemistry. I don’t get a love interest vibe, but more of a brother and sister thing going on. That’s good, because Caleb is still with Hanna and I don’t want anything ruining that.

Next we met Remy. I’m really liking Remy, but her father, not so much. Simon is the editor and chief of the town newspaper and is obviously hiding something. Creepy and keeping secrets are quite a theme in this town of Ravenswood.

The last 2 main characters are Olivia and Luke. Their father was killed and their mother is the main suspect. Luke believed his mother actually killed his father, and Olivia disagrees. You thought your family had issues? Remy and Luke are a couple but there seemed to be a strain there. It was quite obvious that Remy’s father, Simon didn’t want Remy interacting with Luke. Remy’s mother was back from Afghanistan after her unit was attacked and she was the only survivor. Remy’s mother was obviously dealing with survivors guilt but she didn’t seem to have an issue with Luke. I really like Remy and Luke. I totally ship them. Lemy FTW!

I didn’t know it was possible to have such a creepy yet hot scene, but Ravenswood accomplished just that. That bathtub scene with Caleb was intense. The shower curtain tried to kill him! Seriously? Caleb told Miranda that her uncle tried to kill him, but we didn’t see anyone smothering Caleb with the shower curtain. What is going on with this house? This town? That being said, if the writers feel like giving Benjamin Price, the high school teacher played by the gorgeous Justin Bruening a bathtub scene, I would not be opposed to it.

“Maybe it was the wind.” – Caleb

“This wind had hands.” – Miranda

Thanks to Remy, we learned how Caleb and Miranda’s relatives died. They died on the same day in a boating accident. 5 people died in total that day. They died a week after a Ravenswood soldier had come home from the war after miraculously surviving an ambush. Sound familiar?

“Once just happens to you. Twice is a coincidence. Three times is enemy action.”

Now I really need to discuss what’s been eating away at me. Can you believe they ended the premiere that way?! On a cliffhanger?! Those writers are insane and bold, and I totally admire it.

I have so many questions. Are they all dead? Who the hell was that girl dressed in black standing in the middle of the street?

Ravenswood definitely has that scary factor and I love it. It’s only one episode in and already loving these characters. The show is shrouded in mystery, and there’s a ton of questions to be answered. I cannot wait to continue watching this show to get some much needed answers.

What did you guys think of the episode? Are you guys hooked yet? Sound off below.
