However, circumstances intervened and she managed to find a foothold in the town’s social hierarchy, rising from pariah to everyday citizen and gaining a social support system that made her realize that living in a place like BlueBell isn’t half bad. After a trip to New York this summer to clear her head and reenergize following a draining previous few months, this should be the time for Zoe to dive head first into her practice and continue setting down the roots for a long stay in Alabama. But coming up on Hart of Dixie, it seems as if her summer trip might have cost her more than she imagined.

Listed below are the dates, titles, and descriptions of the first three episodes of Hart of Dixie‘s third season.

Monday, October 7th – “Who Says You Can’t Go Home”
After spending the summer in New York City, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) is ready to make her move more permanent, but first she must return to BlueBell for one last thing. Upon her return Zoe, discovers that no one in town is very happy to see her, except for Lavon (Cress Williams). Desperate for Brick (Tim Matheson) to give her a good reference, she agrees to help him track down George (Scott Porter) and get him to resurrect the Founders Day parade that has been canceled. Needing to find George quickly, Zoe enlists Lemon’s (Jaime King) help but accidentally discovers Lemon is hiding a dirty little secret. Meanwhile, Lemon also devises a plan to help Wade (Wilson Bethel) save face in front of Zoe.

Monday, October 14th – “Friends in Low Places”
Trying to be hospitable to Joel (guest star Josh Cooke), who is visiting BlueBell, Lavon and AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) invite him and Zoe over for a quiet dinner, but when Lemon meets Alabama’s most eligible bachelor, Carter Covington (guest star Ryan McPartlin), she invites herself along with Carter to the soiree. However, when some unexpected guests show up to the party, Lemon’s ruse with Wade risks being exposed. Meanwhile, George makes a bad decision involving Lynly (guest star Antoinette Robertson), which could ultimately ruin his friendship with Lavon.

Monday, October 21st – “Take This Job and Shove It”
Trying to avoid a confrontation with Brick, Zoe begins discreetly seeing patients in BlueBell again. But her plan goes awry when George informs her she has a non-compete clause in her contract that prevents her from practicing for a year in the town. Lavon is thrilled at the chance to bring a minor league baseball team to BlueBell, but needs Brick’s help to woo the team’s owner. Elsewhere, Lemon finds herself in hot water with the Belles after she tries to overthrow the current leader. Meanwhile, George finds himself needing medical attention during a tutoring session with Lynly, forcing him to call Zoe for help.

The third season of Hart of Dixie is set to premiere Monday, October 7th at 8:00 on The CW.

Are you ready for Hart of Dixie to return? Do you think that the town is in the right for being upset at Dr. Hart’s actions last season? Will Zoe be able to practice in BlueBell again?

Zoe, Zoe, Zoe, sometimes I just want to slap this girl but this time I wanted to hug her. While I didn’t agree with her decision to get with Wade again, I did agree with her decision to stay in New York over the summer. Although, this means we’re probably in for yet another Hart of Dixie season of, which guy will Zoe Hart chose?

First of all George, who just walks into somebody’s house and bedroom without knocking? Second of all, Zoe! Why did you sleep with Wade? Did you forget he cheated on you? I know you were vulnerable, but come on! At first, I didn’t like the pairing of Zoe and Wade. I’ll admit, I wanted Zoe to get with George, but once Zoe and Wade got together, I totally warmed up to them. Wade brought out that playful side to Zoe, and Zoe changed Wade into a somewhat serious guy. Then something changed. I hope I’m not the only one who thought this, but Wade got a little boring when he was with Zoe. I missed season 1 Wade. He had an edge to him. I’d like Zoe and Wade to stay friends, for now anyways.

Poor George is all heartbroken that Tansy left town. I can’t say I’m all that sad about it. Tansy was really starting to get on my nerves. I’ll admit, George and Tansy were pretty cute together but she only had herself to blame for the end of her relationship with George. Of course it was wrong of Zoe to tell George she still had feelings for him but if Tansy was secure in her relationship, she wouldn’t have given George that ultimatum. As a fan of George and Zoe since the beginning, the scene (“When I’m Gone” by Caitlin Rose was playing perfectly in the background) with George and Zoe kind of broke my heart. George was right though, Zoe did have a chance to be with him and she didn’t take it. They’ve never even been on a date.

“Us is a fantasy that we have just clung to, but it’s not reality. Because in reality, the person that you truly had feelings for is Wade.”- George

So, is this the end of Zoe and George? I personally don’t think so because who else will fill the love triangle you know Zoe will find herself in next season. It’s still really early on and the writer’s definitely need to get more mileage out of this, who will Zoe choose? I personally hate it. That plot device is really getting old. You just know Jonah will probably be added to the mix next year. One has to wonder how much Zoe will see of Jonah during the summer. Hopefully she will get that much needed perspective while she’s in New York, because she was turning into a hot mess.

So my shinning star this season has been Lemon. Lemon really wasn’t a favourite of mine last season, but this season something totally changed. She really changed this past season and became such a strong character. I have to say, I really loved the whole Lemon and Wade dynamic. That car scene was hilarious. I really loved these two working together and they have tons of chemistry. I really wouldn’t be that surprised if they somehow got together romantically. Who would have thought Lemon would be the one to give Wade great perspective on things. Lemon was right, Wade had changed and it was because of Zoe. I’ll give Zoe that, but I also think Wade was growing up. Wade had to realize he was never going to get anywhere in life the way he was acting.

Some filler plot had an issue with Burt Reynolds and Mayor Gainey. Nothing really earth shattering there, but it was a nice way of getting much of the cast working together. I hope my fellow Chuck fans recognized Bonita Friedericy on the plane with Zoe. I totally yelled out, “GENERAL BECKMAN!”

What did everyone think of George going off on tour with Lily Anne? I kind of liked this development. I just love seeing that fun, singing side to George. Next season I want George to sing more. I found myself laughing that George was with another one of Wade’s exes. This time it’s platonic, but anything can happen on the road.

So folks, there you have it. Zoe chose herself and is staying in New York over the summer. Something I truly think she needs. I also liked that she told Wade he really hurt her. She still has feelings for him but she needed time. Nobody can fault her for that. If Wade truly does love Zoe, he’ll wait for her.

So what are your predictions for next season? Will Zoe come back to Bluebell with Jonah or someone else on her arm? Will we get a Zoe/Wade/George love triangle next season? Or will someone else be added to the mix?

Will Lemon find love next season? I sure hope so, because she deserves some happiness. Till next season!

Small town life has a way of bringing down even the brightest of minds and leaving them complacent, so the ambitious New York doctor didn’t want to fall victim to the easy living and comfortable surrounds of a town like BlueBell. However, once she got accustomed to life at Lavon’s, she ended up settling into a groove of small stakes patients and tangled romance, something she never thought would happen. But given how things have been going for her recently on Hart of Dixie, she’s looking for a way out, a chance to take a little time for herself away from George, Wade, and Brick, away from how complicated her once simple life has become. But will she even make it out of town before turning back?

Listed below are the dates, titles, and descriptions of the next three episodes of Hart of Dixie, including the season finale.

Tuesday, April 23rd – “If Tomorrow Never Comes”
After Zoe (Rachel Bilson) tricks Jonah (guest star Travis Van Winkle) into spilling a secret about Brick (Tim Matheson), she unintentionally makes things worse for Brick in his love life. Following Brick’s advice, Zoe decides she must finally express her feelings, but timing never seems to be her strong suit. Wade (Wilson Bethel) and Lemon (Jaime King) must learn to work together, but things go awry when they each try to prove that they know what is best for the new Rammer Jammer. Knowing what Wade and Lemon are up to, Lavon (Cress Williams) and AnnaBeth (guest star Kaitlyn Black) agree to not get involved, but that might be easier said than done. Meanwhile, Tansy’s (guest star Mircea Monroe) brothers surprise her with an unexpected visit, leaving George (Scott Porter) to look after them and put up with their wild antics.

Tuesday, April 30th – “I’m Moving On”
Zoe’s attempts at online dating hit a few snags until Rose (guest star McKaley Miller) and Max (guest star Nicholas Podany) take matters into their own hands and play matchmaker. Faced with yet another set back with the Rammer Jammer, Lemon and Wade are close to throwing in the towel. George tries everything he can think of to prove to Tansy (guest star Mircea Monroe) that they belong together, but she still has her doubts. Brick and Shelby (guest star Laura Bell Bundy) decide that they might have acted too rashly, which forces them to make a difficult decision about their future together. Meanwhile, Lavon refuses AnnaBeth’s help in stopping the feud with the competing town’s Mayor, leaving her to take a different tact.

Tuesday, May 7th – “On the Road Again”
After having a rough time in BlueBell, Zoe decides a little time in New York City might be the perfect opportunity to give her some much needed perspective. But a medical emergency on the plane forces her to complete the trip with an unexpected companion. George struggles with his constant relationship misfortunes, until he runs in to Lily Anne (guest star Amy Ferguson), who helps him with his heartache. When Lemon promises that the Rammer Jammer will be having a special concert with the band Gloriana, she must scramble to make it happen, with the less-than-enthusiastic help of Wade. Meanwhile, Lavon discovers that the opposing town’s Mayor has stolen something dear to him and enlists the help of the townspeople to get it back.

Hart of Dixie airs Tuesdays at 8:00 on The CW.

What have you thought about the second season of Hart of Dixie? Will George convince Tansy that they belong together, even with her having doubts? Are Lemon and Wade going to get the hang of running the Rammer Jammer?

Lemon and AnnaBeth picked the perfect business to start, but I’d sure like to know which lucky bugger is the town’s costumer. That’s right, it’s another week so it’s another festival in Bluebell on Hart of Dixie.

This week it was Pioneer Day and Mayor Lavon saw fit to bestow upon the newly outed couple of Zoe and Wade the honor of portraying Bluebell’s founding couple. It turned out that the founding couple had as many issues in their relationship as Wade and Zoe dream they have in theirs. What is with them, anyway? They literally dream things up to fight about. From everything being lovely to pushing each other’s buttons in just a matter of minutes, they seem determined to destroy themselves.

Thankfully it lead to a fantastic conversation in bed at the end of “Old Alabama” when Zoe admitted she’s afraid. She’s afraid to end up like her parents, afraid that she doesn’t know how to have a real relationship because she never had one before. The great thing is she and Wade are really taking the time to talk about these things, even after they blow up in front of the entire town. They aren’t keeping secrets any longer than necessary for a little dramatic tension. That just reeks of a couple with staying power.

It was about time Brick and George made up. I don’t know why the series decided to tone Brick down so much this season, but it’s very welcome to this viewer. His antics last year, always being angry and ready to pop, especially where Zoe was concerned, made him seem like too much of a hard-ass. His lighter tone lends well to the entire tone of Hart of Dixie.

As strange as it was that Brick and George were sharing bedside advice and exchanging notes on their shared dating of Shelby, it made perfect sense. Brick had himself assured he was totally wrong to be dating a younger woman, but by the end George told him to just go for it. What was the point in holding back if it was something what would make him happy? Sound advice.

Even Lemon has become a sweetheart, making Lavon look like the ass. I wouldn’t have thought that possible last year. He needs to stop punishing Lemon for what happened with Ruby, because they were never going to make it as a couple. Lemon needs to stop holding back her heart and let Lavon know she is still in love with him. I know she’s skittish of her own heartbreak, and worried that she might unwittingly hurt Lavon again, but why should they both be miserable when love is clearly in their future?

While there seems to be less to digest each week on Hart of Dixie, there is more to simply enjoy while watching it. There isn’t anything wrong with that and I hope we don’t slide down the dramatic pipeline any time soon. What about you? Are you enjoying season two and the lighter side of things in Bluebell, or would you prefer more tension and focus on the dramatic love triangles? Don’t be afraid to drop a note in the comments!

It took almost the entire episode, but even Zoe Hart herself found a bit. If that’s not a Hart of Dixie Christmas miracle of the tallest order, I don’t know what is.

Lavon Hayes is a very sad man. There is a reason he and Zoe have become the very best of friends, and it’s because they chase after ideals. Real life doesn’t mean that much to them. They have seen the movies and the television shows and think they know how love and romance are supposed to work. Instead of going with what is making them happy, they talk themselves out of it and drift off into dreamland looking for the false advertising the world pounds into our brains every day. This is what perfection is, now go get it!

Lavon was trying to make Ruby into his ideal. He was willing to go so far as to propose marriage so that in a year, instead of her following her dreams and him moving to Dallas to live with the woman he supposedly loved, he could somehow talk her into returning to small town life. That’s just pathetic. I couldn’t be happier that Lemon’s friends sabotaged his plans. I feel sorry for Lemon for taking the brunt of his anger and disappointment, but in the long rum he’ll realize Lemon may not be ideal, but she’s perfect for him. In a very odd way, the complement each other.

Then we have Zoe and Wade. Wade had been doing everything right. Hell, he’s half of America’s dream boyfriend right now, and that’s no small feat on the part of the writing team on Hart of Dixie. It was also well done that Zoe’s expectations of her mother were so completely off the mark. Zoe’s hardest critic is Zoe herself. Again, she wants to live this ideal, but nobody around her has the same wish. While her mom found it hard, due to their actions, that Zoe and Wade were a couple, she was the first to admit she always kind of liked him. I don’t think Zoe even heard her.

Wade has always been very well written when in scenes with his father. Learning the last time Earl played Santa was the year his wife and Wade’s mother died of cancer spoke volumes. He felt he had let himself, his son and the entire town of Bluebell down. He apparently never quite picked himself up from that one disaster. With Wade’s help, he was able to successfully complete a run as Bluebell’s official Santa and and I hope that sets him on a road of redemption, at the very least with Wade. I’d like to see their relationship explored in more detail because of how much we learn while they are together.

As Zoe said, “I didn’t know that about your family, because we weren’t like that.” Wade just replied that she never asked. They were so busy trying to be what the other thought they were supposed to be, they never truly saw what was happening to them. Something beautiful.

How wonderful was it that what could have been a massive and never ending tale of errors about an engagement ring between George and Tansy was so easily handled? They communicate so well that I think they may really find something in each other. There is an ease with which they treat each other. Sure, they want to make a good impression, but that is just sweet, and not overanxious. I like them together. I like that George laughs when he’s with Tansy. Much like Zoe laughs when she’s with Wade.

Which leaves me with my final thought. Zoe made her move. She could have let things go, but she – no really – listened to her mom and let him know how she felt. She admitted she was afraid of the feelings she was having and we can only imagine how much rockin was going around his Christmas tree that night.

Why are they pushing the relationship so hard? Ruby remains unpleasant, at best. Lavon was hurt by Lemon, but that is hardly a good reason to jump into another doomed experience by forcing the hand of someone who obviously doesn’t want to commit. She is far larger than Bluebell, and the simple life Lavon offers won’t make her happy. If it does for a month, it won’t for years.

If this is all being done to show us that Lemon can finally put someone’s feelings above her own, she proved it and we can move on. Let’s let Ruby go, Lemon swoop in and save the day. Ta da! I should be a screenwriter. They’ve also succeeded in showing Zoe and Lemon can get along. They’re good for comic relief and I look forward to the day the two of them and Annabeth have a girls night out. Might Tancy even end up at the party?

That’s my segue to what I really want to discuss. The quadrangle of Zoe, Wade, George and Tancy.

It was very cool of George to talk to Wade before asking out Tancy. I’m not sure if his motives of doing so were pure, or merely to get under Wade’s skin but, either way, there was a genuine connection between George and Tancy and it deserves a chance to bloom. At first I was getting perturbed that Wade was making such a big deal out of it, after all, he has Zoe. He knows George wants Zoe, so to deny him the opportunity to date Tancy is like rubbing salt in the wound.

Then Wade made his case against George. His concern was George would use Tancy as a hurdle to get to what he really wants. Things get really confusing here, because even thinking along these lines requires Wade to admit to himself he wants more from Zoe than a casual fling. He doesn’t want George using Tancy on his way to Zoe any more than he wants George getting to Zoe without jumping over Tancy to get there.

George tried to appeal to Team Wade by letting Wade know that not only did he not consider Tancy more than a ‘placeholder,’ he also thought if that’s how Wade thought Zoe felt about him, then he should talk to her about it. He said he had known about the two of them for a while, surprising Wade. The information later surprised Zoe even more. Of course, George doesn’t know about their arrangement. I don’t think Zoe and Wade are even straight on what their arrangement is any longer, but it was very obvious when Wade told Zoe that Zoe still doesn’t know her true feelings for Wade.

For that, Zoe is getting on my nerves. She told George to go out and sow his wild oats. She’s the one keeping them apart if they are truly meant to be together, and now Wade is getting hurt in the process. First she hurt George, and now she’s hurting Wade. We learned through Wade’s tale of four hours as an Eagle Ranger that he felt less than as a boy. Most likely, less than George Tucker. Despite his current bravado adult attitude, Zoe is feeding his childhood insecurities by not being honest with him or herself.

It’s time for both George and Wade to have a come to Jesus moment with Zoe Hart. No more games. Too many people are going to get caught in the cross fire. Both couple could have great potential, but we need to play to that instead of seeing pain on the faces of the men in love with Zoe.

There are many things I could say in defense of both couples, but I’m going to switch course for the week. George and Wade seem to know what they want. I’m tossing my hat into the ring and going all out for Team Gade. Who’s with me?

You want to know how I know? When high school football player Max fell for Zoe on Hart of Dixie, although the entire town wanted her to lead him on until the big football game, she didn’t succumb to the pressure. I know, right? She had the chance to date a student and didn’t take hit? How very odd!

What could have been a very awkward situation was really very sweet in the end, and I’m happy that at least some programs still understand there is a difference between teenagers and adults. As much as I love Pretty Little Liars, I still can’t get over the relationship between Aria and Ezra, no matter how close they are in age, or how they originally met. We’ve all been “in love” with an adult at some stage of our teenage lives, but we hope the adults have enough intelligence to keep themselves in the clear.

Hart of Dixie used their adult/teen love affair as a way to teach Wade a lesson he needed to learn. Being romantic isn’t about looking like an idiot, it’s about putting yourself out there and taking a chance. Sure, Max was going after the wrong girl, but it still made Zoe feel special and Max look very brave in the process. Max realized he didn’t need a lucky charm to kick a football and Wade made an ass out himself by baking some awful cookies for Zoe. In the end, they both got a girl.

Elsewhere in Bluebell, former high school lovers Lavon and Ruby were still getting reacquainted, but her grandpa got in the way. Since I still don’t like Ruby, and believe she will ultimately break his heart, watching Lavon attempt to make a friend of grandpa after years of ill wishes just turned my stomach. I’d prefer he spark things up with Lemon again.

Lemon decided it was her life’s journey to start a catering business with Annabeth, completely unaware that Annabeth had already started the very same business on her own. It took the entire episode and some cajoling from George, but they decided that Annabeth is the cook and Lemon the organizer so they should be in business together. My question is this: must every friendship Lemon has come with so much mental strife? I have no idea how she became Miss Popularity (or whatever her official title in Bluebell is) because she continually comes off as a raging bitch.

Considering Hart of Dixie was lucky enough to run on Thanksgiving week, I wish they had been able celebrate Planksgiving again. It was the kind of weird tradition that if we don’t see it more than once we’ll completely forget about should it come down again next season. It was a meh episode, except for Wade’s romantic gesture. Feel free to argue with me!

Ruby has no redeeming qualities. Why does Lavon like her? I have to assume it’s leftover feelings from their past, because anything she has done since arriving in Bluebell has hardly made her endearing. Then again, Lemon has very few of those qualities and he was in love with her, too.

Lavon has horrible taste in women. He’s one of those men who would walk to the ends of the earth for his friends, which is why he makes such a wonderful mayor. He works all angles of a situation without bias to come to an amiable conclusion for all involved parties. Yet he chooses self-involved bitches to fall in love with. Women who wouldn’t give him the same consideration he would undoubtedly give them. Maybe Ruby will surprise me. Given that she was written into the series as a best friend for Zoe and hasn’t had a scene with her that has come close to that since her first episode, I’m not holding out hope.

I’m impressed with how far Zoe and Brick have come in their partnership. She can come straight out and call him a horse’s ass and he shakes his head, thinks it over and agrees. That’s progress! His long distance relationship also made Zoe realize that the obstacles to any partnership can be overcome, and it took a chicken pecking at the photos of the mayoral candidates to realize it. The choices people make are a crap shoot, distance between them is the least of their worries.

When George first met Presley, I was certain we were in for a wild ride given their clashing personalities. The whole “opposites attract” scenario. So, I was wrong. She was a bit too far out there, even for Bluebell. Did we see the beginning of something new between Tancy and George? I’m guessing that will make things even more awkward between the foursome. Could seeing George with Tancy bring up old feelings Wade has left drifting around for her? I sure hope not, because he and Zoe are doing so good together. They are fun and still talk about challenging subjects like lasting relationships. I think they are the real thing, whether they’re ready to recognize it or not.

Hart of Dixie continues to surprise me. I didn’t even enjoy “I Walk the Line” all that much, and yet it still affected me. That last chat with Zoe and Wade rang true. The look on George’s face when he agreed to have Tancy fix his hair gave me hope for his happiness. Brick confiding in Zoe about his personal life is so much more interesting than their constant antagonism. Everybody is growing in Bluebell. For Lavon’s sake, I hope Ruby takes up the trait.

As an aside, did you catch the commercial for Samsung with behind the scenes video? “Let’s get Wade.” THAT’S a great campaign slogan.

When Zoe Hart’s dreams of becoming a thoracic surgeon are squashed because her professor believes her to be lacking heart, she moves to the small town of Bluebell, Alabama at the bequest of an unknown benefactor.

When she arrives, the benefactor has passed away, and Zoe learns she was his daughter and a native of the town. Immediately rejected by her new partner, Doctor Breeland and his daughter, Lemon, Zoe finds herself falling for Lemon’s fiance George Hart. Town playboy and her next door neighbor Wade Kellison is always one step away taunting her with his bad boy ways and she spends a great deal of time with her new landlord and best friend, ex football star and mayor Lavon Hayes.

Welcome to Bluebell, home of the original mean girls.

When the show was created, do you think a team of writers was hunkered down around a table pondering the merits of Team George versus Team Wade? Could they have had any idea that the “Hartbeat” of Hart of Dixie would boil down not to Zoe Hart’s fish out of water story, but her attraction between the boy-next-door town lawyer, George Tucker, who also happened to be engaged and beguiling bad boy and town playboy, Wade Kinsella (who knew he had a last name?), who also happened to be hiding a heart of gold?

Given the number of supporting characters and their complicated entanglements, I don’t think anyone was prepared for the power of the Wade/Zoe/George trio.

During most of Hart of Dixie Season One, Wade waffled between being an idiot, an ass and pining for Zoe Hart. His friendship with Mayor and landlord Lavon Hayes not only brought him physically closer to Zoe, but gave him a sounding board so viewers knew he was more than the one dimensional boy toy he liked to pretend to be. by mid season, every time Zoe called him for help, he melted; and, every time she then waxed on poetically about the unrequited love of a man engaged to be married, the audience melted for him.

It was more difficult to fall for the perfect Mr. George Tucker because he was so damn perfect, yet his heart wasn’t true his fiancee. Just how much can you cheer on the demise of a lifelong relationship, even if his girl, Lemon Breeland, had been having her own dalliances with Lavon Hayes? Something was clearly not right, but bumbling around in the dark and handling the situation without integrity wasn’t what we wanted in the man chosen for Zoe Hart.

It was an on again off again affair between the three characters. Zoe never saw the potential we did in Wade because she was so busy with her dreams of George, but by the time George made his decision to call off his wedding to Lemon, Wade was given the opportunity to show off a thing or two to Zoe when they were trapped inside of a barn during a horrific storm. He was dashing and heroic. He not only saved the day, but opened the door to Zoe’s heart just enough to climb inside for a look around. Thinking the man of her dreams had just walked down the aisle, that was a door Zoe willingly dashed into.

Cue Season Two. Shake it up!

So far the triangle has continued on the rugged path and never is there a moment when I’m sure Zoe’s heart will take one fork or the other. In the season opener, George made such a case for himself I was Tweeting #TeamGeorge and disparaging all the progress made by Wade in Season One. He was in full on protection mode, not willing to accept even the tiniest of cuts because it may be too deep for him to recover. He hid it so well, I thought maybe what I had earlier witness was the ruse, and bad was all that could be found in Wade. Meanwhile, Zoe was addicted to a “good time” Wade, and struggling to understand why, once she chose him over George, he went off the deep end. What a mess!

Zoe still believes her heart belongs with George and together she and Wade are pushing his dating buttons. The poor man was just out of a relationship and ditched before even taking a stab at the good doctor he ended his engagement to follow, and he was painting the town red with some very rusty dating skills.

It was interesting to watch Wade slowly realize that by pretending not to care he was hurting the person he cared most about. Zoe, while pretending not to care about Wade, realized being in an open relationship was not for her. All of a sudden their sexcapade became monogamous. They were only going to romp with each other. Until the Halloween episode, I would have bet that Zoe and George would eventually end up together. I’m back to 50/50 odds on that now.

While Zoe thinks George needs time to get over Lemon in a true relationship while she has a “just for fun” one with Wade, what she is doing is discovering who she is and what she wants. Her whole life was set out before her by her parents, and her idea of a man and marriage was a part of that package. The man they would have chosen for Zoe would have looked a hell of a lot more like George Tucker than Wade Kinsella. At the end of Season Two, I expect another nail biting decision to be presented. This time both men will be on equal footing, and George might even be in a loving relationship if he chooses his “just for fun” gal wisely. Zoe can’t spend every season choosing between two men, and she will figure out who the real Zoe Hart is before long.

Will Zoe realize she chose Wade for reasons other than she let herself believe or will she find that George is truly the man she has been waiting for all her life? Either way, I expect they will shake it up again.
