Bonilla, Marco Romero – former lover and CFO of Nolan and NolCorp – I see the little twerp I couldn’t stand on Guiding Light. Add Ashley Davenport and my screen is full of twerps when I’m watching Revenge. I still find it difficult to believe Daniel is in love with a former hooker. With all of his resources, Daniel never thought to do a background check on her? He dug up Marco from the depths of hell, but nothing on Ashley. Thank God Emily is there to shove bad news in his face.

The pluses are that Marco thinks he can threaten Nolan with all that talk of the money Amanda Clarke never got since she’s living above a bar. First of all, what a creep to think that just because you have money you wouldn’t want to live with the man you love above a bar that his family owned. Granted, Amanda wouldn’t want to do that, but that’s beside the point. Second, Emily and Amanda have been pretty honest about everything so Marco spouting off to Amanda about half a billion dollars wouldn’t come as much of a surprise to her. Without Emily, she would be nowhere, wouldn’t have Jack nor Carl. She wouldn’t be happy, and I believe she is.

Daniel finally saw Ashley having a field day with Daddy, but that just turned the plan Emily and Aiden had to access The Initiative on its ear. Does anyone else hope The Initiative shoots Daniel in the head? A one time poetry wimp playing against the big boys? He is in so far over his head. If his only hope are his parents, well, we’ve seen how well they’ve managed against The Initiative. Daniel should be dead meat, but something tells me Emily would save his sorry ass.

I’m also guessing there are Daniel fans out there who remember him as the guy Emily loved. If you think long and hard enough, you’ll remember he really had nothing to offer her, and spent most of their time together running back to mommy and daddy. Don’t let the fact he deleted Ashley’s photos while he held onto Emily’s sway you. It’s time for him to take care of himself, and if that means he gets stuck in the mire that is the unknown evil of The Initiative, then so be it.

I’ve also somehow completely missed that Aiden was involved in the NoelCorp takeover. I knew it was all being done with the planning of Emily and Nolan, but I obviously would not make a good spy. I was so focused on getting to know the relationship between he and Emily that I lost track of what was happening with him elsewhere on canvas. That, and he’s hot. It can be difficult to focus when he’s on screen. I’m only being honest. Emily is finally with someone whom I approve. They suit each other perfectly.

Sadly, Carl Porter’s friend, Matt, the one who really killed Kenny & Nate Ryan’s father, decided to pay a visit to Jack for the baptism of his son and father’s namesake. He spotted the Ryans and Jack wisely had Nolan take a look into their history. No sooner did he deliver the goods on the brothers Ryan to Jack than Matt was shot down on the pier. A funny thing happened after that incident. Now when I see the Ryans, they seem like Siamese thugs. Whereas at one point Kenny was able to stand on his own and behave like a human, he’s now following Nate’s lead and acting like a first class bully. It’s so unappealing at their age.

What are your guesses for what’s to come in January? I hate to think about it, but the phone call from Victoria and the previews suggest Emily is going to go undercover as Daniel’s lover again. Just when she and Aiden admitted they were as happy as they expected they would ever be, and when we’ve come to enjoy them, they’re going to rip them apart. That will be difficult to watch.

How deep will the pile of doodoo be that the Porters find themselves in with the Ryans? What about Noel and the twerp? And can we please find out who or what The Initiative is? Here’s hoping for a lot of promo spots and news from now until the January return. Be sure to return here for all the latest news!

No doubting needed, they’re still genuinely miffed at one another.

The last thing Dean needed to hear from Sam was that Same had been having Benny followed for the last week, by a recently released mental patient. Sure, the patient was someone they knew through work with their father, John, and met themselves in episode 5.11,” Sam, Interrupted” while he was still in the loony bin, but that’s not the best reference for some dude following your friend around now, is it?

I have to give kudos to Dean. In the scene we’ll watch below, he’s on board with checking up on Benny if he really is the cause of a vampire killing. If he was just in love with Benny without using good judgment, as well, then I’d be worried. As Dean puts it, “If Benny’s in Louisiana draining folks, we should look into it.”

The bigger issue with this scene is the Winchester Brothers are still not communicating. If someone like Martin Creaser calls asking to get back into the hunting game, then that information should be shared don’t you think? Especially if the case he put him on involved Dean’s new best friend. Tsk tsk tsk, Sam. Keeping secrets is not a brotherly thing to do.

I’m hoping for big things with “Citizen Fang” because it’s the mid-season finale. That’s right, we’ll need to enjoy it because our sexy Winchester bros won’t be back until 2013. With the addition of Benny to the episode, I’m hoping for a great send off into the new year.

It turns out that just didn’t happen.

My expectations for the reuniting of Abu Nazir and Brody were higher than the return. Nazir was placing his entire terror operation on Brody. A bit full of himself, wasn’t he? I didn’t like that Brody prayed with Nazir, and I hope he’s losing some of his faith. Turning to a new faith in desperation just doesn’t ring true for me.

No matter how friendly Peter and Carrie may have seemed when he was hospitalized, he’s back to disgust with her possible motivations in the case. I can’t say I blame him, as it would be difficult to understand the attraction of a fellow CIA agent sworn to protect the country seemingly infatuated with an asset who may be the key to the biggest terror event since 9/11. Yeah, I think that would piss me off, as a coworker. As a viewer, I can’t get enough of Carrie and Brody. In some ways, that juxtaposition bothers me a bit. It makes me question my values. I don’t like it.

Brody shared pretty much everything with the CIA except the prayer session, and Roya and all of her pals were caught. The one person not caught, and the one that I still cannot believe made it into the States – Abu Nazir.

Before I expand upon that thought, a quick word about Brody’s family. It’s admirable that he cares about their well being, but they are pretty much done with him. Carrie cleverly set up Mike to be their guardians at a safe house, which led to Jessica reigniting her passion. I’m torn about that. I wish they would all just quit playing games and end the marriage. Dana, once smitten with the secrecy of her dad’s life as a Muslim and angry with her mom for giving up on him, now wishes he had never come back alive. Teenagers.

Back to the BIG STORY. At the end of the raid, when the CIA first thought Nazir was dead, Estes immediately set Peter out as a bodyguard for Brody. Yeah, I found that a little odd and had no idea what was going on. Until Quinn pulled a gun out of his coat. What the HELL? The CIA is now of two factions on the same case. Carrie and Saul thinking they are using Brody as an asset and protecting him, and Estes wanting to kill Brody the moment Nazir is dead. I get that they’re using Brody to attract Nazir, and with all of Nazir’s stateside gang in prison they will need him more than ever. But what will killing him so quickly accomplish? Perhaps the hope is to set up Nazir as killing Brody to squash the entire story and put all of their involvement with the entire thing to rest with one bullet.

In any event, it was surprising, and the last three episodes of the season featuring a fugitive Nazir and a divided CIA mission should be interesting, to say the least. How can a show carry on at this frenetic pace? Every week is a “game changer.” It’s tiring and thrilling to watch. Quite a feat.

After all, they did spend a good portion of “Kashmir” walking through sewage, if we’re to believe the Revolution Revealed clip below. I thought it was an old subway line. In the last 15 years, they must have rerouted some sewage there. Whatever. There were a lot of things about Revolution that had me pounding my head against the pillow last night, so I wanted to share. This is the sharing of a video clip wrapped in a bit of a rant, not only about the episode but about the upcoming hiatus and the possible death of la Revolución!

My first thought when Miles saw the dude running into the doorway ahead of them in the tunnel was that there was a trapdoor we just didn’t see. It wasn’t as if they spent a lot of time looking. When the second person hallucinated, I figured – that dastardly (yet extremely handsome) Sebastian Monroe is pumping drugs into that tunnel! After all, wouldn’t he know that’s the only way to get to his place from whence they came? What else have they had to do for 15 years other than direct sewage down there? They might as well pump in some chemicals to drive possibly incumbents batty.

But, no. Despite the flowing water, dripping water and many other indications of openings leading to fresh air, they were suffocating. Not only was the space GIANT, thereby arguing the point that it would have taken much longer to lose the oxygen that had built up over the time the tunnel hadn’t been used, but there was all that water. Still, they were suffocating. Sure. They needed to make it even more threatening than the newly planted bombs that Miles hadn’t mapped out.

Speaking of those bombs. With her handy, what was it, spray paint I think, Nora found and marked all the new bombs. Except when she ‘freed” Charlie, she told everyone to run like hell. Which they did. With absolutely no regard for the ground under their feet. They ran with arms akimbo, eyes to the sky, and then dropped to the ground. Amazingly, hitting none of the freshly painted bombs. Really. Because that happens. All the time. Some people have all the luck.

Just a short distance away was a door, poked with holes. Holes that would have, over the time noted above, allowed plenty of oxygen into the space and made suffocation it the amount of time they were in there impossible. Using silly plot devices to “show their fears” just doesn’t sit well with me. If at all. That’s why I bang my head into a pillow and not a hard wooden object. I’d have a lot of bruises.

When Charlie got shot and, if we’re to believe the scenes of her visiting the afterlife and her father, it took only the voice of Uncle Miles yelling at her in despair to bring her back. Damn. We have been going about this medical care thing all wrong. So much of what we are doing today is wrong. We can wake the dead with an emotional plea, keep our teeth gleaming white without the need of dental care, never get a speck of dirt on our clothing without ever washing them and have lovely, flowing locks of hair sans grease without the need for a shower. Through wishful thinking, perhaps?

The best part of Revolution, featuring the extraordinarily expensive and wasted talent of Led Zeppelin, was Rachel killing Brad when Bas said he didn’t have a need for her any more. “You need me now.” How frakkin awesome is that woman?

In the fall finale, Charlie and Miles finally find Danny, and Charlie will probably have to face the fact her mom has been alive all these years. Miles and Bas have a good old fashion sword fight, leading to the obligatory promise that if Miles returns to the militia his family will be unharmed and Monroe will have the super secret decoder device allowing him to fly helicopters. I still don’t know what that’s going to get him or how he’ll rule the world with a device that allows him to fly a bit here and there, but I’ll tune in to find out.

No matter what happens next week, we’re in some trouble here. Remember series like The Event, Jericho, and Flash Forward? They started out like gangbusters and when they took several months off, the people didn’t come back. While NBC is betting that their lead in The Voice will be the trump card for Revolution, the two are hardly a match made in heaven. I’ve never watched one episode of The Voice and never will. If something else comes along to take my mind off of Revolution, I’m not personally invested enough (save for what they do next week) to feel down if I stop watching four months from now.

What about you? Are you 100% on board? Will absence make the heart grow fonder or will it be out of sight, out of mind for Revolution?
