-Beginning Tuesday, April 30, NBC will release new installments of its axed dating series Ready for Love on a weekly basis via NBC.com, VOD, iTunes, Amazon, Hulu and more. The series finale is set for June 3rd.

-Also getting a chance to play out the rest of their episodes are ABC’s Zero Hour, returning to the schedule on June 15th at 8:00 with a two-hour premiere and signing off on August 3rd with a two-hour finale, and NBC’s Do No Harm, which will return Saturdays at 10:00 from June 29th through August 24th.

–Saturday Night Live has announced its final three hosts of the season, with comedian Zach Galifianakis returning on May 4th with musical guest Of Monsters and Men, while former cast member Kristen Wiig will host for the first time since her departure on May 11th with musical guest Vampire Weekend and Oscar winner Ben Affleck closes out the season with Kanye West on May 18th.

-Comedy Central has renewed The Jeselnik Offensive and Nathan for You for second seasons. The former is set to return in July, while the latter is on hold until 2014.

-NBC has announced plans for a one-hour retrospective special for The Office, set to feature exclusive and original interviews with writers, producers and actors from the award-winning series. The special will air Thursday, May 16th at 8:00 and lead into the one-hour series finale at 9:00.

-FX has put animated comedy Bigfoot, executive produced by Seth Rogen, into development. Based on Graham Roumieu’s Bigfoot “autobiography” graphic novels, the project revolves around the bipolar sasquatch trying to fit in in both the human and animal worlds.

-The ninth season of Nicklodeon’s The Fairy Oddparents is slated to begin Saturday, May 4th at 9:30 a.m. In the season nine premiere, “Turner & Pooch,” Mr. Crocker realizes that Timmy’s dog, Sparky, has magical powers. Eager to use the fairy dog’s powers to fulfill his own wishes, Mr. Crocker hypnotizes Sparky in an attempt to turn him against Timmy.

-Upcoming episodes of Oprah’s Lifeclass will feature the talk show giant teaming up with Dr. Phil and Iyanla Vanzant. On April 29th, Phil and Oprah work together for the first time since the series finale of The Oprah Winfrey Show to uncover how to spot and stop the bad guys in your life. Meanwhile, on May 5th, Oprah and life coach Vanzant will speak with single mothers raising fatherless sons and help them to overcome the challenges of being an only parent. Phil returns on May 19th when he and Oprah talk about how to play big and “become the star in your own life” by defining success, spotting obstacles and harnessing the right tools to get what you want in life.

-Max Beesley (Hotel Babylon) has joined USA’s Suits in the recurring role of Stephen Huntley, Edward Darby’s charismatic right-hand man and Harvey’s British counterpart, who arrives in the New York office following the merger. Meanwhile, Sam Page (Mad Men), Sinqua Walls (Teen Wolf), and Kate Miner (Persons Unknown) will all be joining Necessary Roughness this summer. Page will play Sam Conte, a V3 agent who represents one of Dani’s clients, in two episodes, while Walls is set to portray Lana’s basketball star son Devon in an episode and Miner has been tapped for a four-episode stint as irresistible up-and-coming model Sheera, who catches TK’s eye.

First. the network has canceled Ready for Love after two low-rated outings, giving the Tuesdays at 10:00 slot to sophomore drama Grimm. The supernatural procedural, which has performed solidly on Fridays, will thus have its final moved from May 17th to May 21st as it plays out the final five episodes of its season. Dateline will replace Grimm in its slot beginning April 26th, while the fate of the remaining episodes of Ready for Love has yet to be revealed.

On May 1st, NBC will be airing a special one-hour episode of The Voice on Wednesday at 8:00, something that could damage American Idol and boost Law & Order: SVU and Chicago Fire. The show has aired sporadic Wednesday episodes during its last two seasons, notably stunting The X Factor when the two matched up this past fall. The May 2nd episode of The Office has also been expanded to an hour, airing from 8:30 to 9:30; in the episode, titled “Livin’ the Dream”, Andy quits his job, Dwight receives his black belt, and Jim returns to Scranton to spend more time with Pam.

Lastly, Smash has returned to its Saturdays at 9:00 slot after shifting to 8:00 on April 13th. The show is set to air at 8:00 tonight before sliding back to the 9:00 slot on April 27th. No reason was given for the decision. The next episode of the musical drama, currently in burn-off mode after premiering this season to disastrous ratings, takes place during Bombshell‘s opening night.

The moves follow the announcement that the fourth episode of Hannibal, originally scheduled to air this coming Thursday, would not be seen by U.S. audiences due to the tragedy in Boston. The show will be airing its fifth episode instead, while a clips package featuring the scenes of character development from episode four hits the internet next week.
