In reply to Lynn. While I understood Alexis being angry at Castle for not telling her about the engagement I am certainly angry at her for questioning if Kate is the right one. Who is Alexis to even question that? I knew the second the episode was over the Alexis badgers would come out in full force. She's a teenager living in her own world. While she may not be my favorite character these days I'm not going to bash her. She's going through this rebellious phase and I hope the writers won't go so far to really muddy the character. Thanks for leaving a comment! I love hearing what people thought of the episode. We all take different things away from the episodes.

I find it amazing that you would think Alexis had any right to question or compare her father’s love for Beckett and her whatever with Pi.She has turned into a willful, spoiled, inconsiderate brat! She has humiliated the one man who has coddled her all her life. Making him stand outside..Really!!. I don’t know how the writers are going to bring this home because from what I have read and heard after this episode, most of the fans of this show except for a few followers of Alexis who are no doubt about the same age and outlook, are not pleased at all with the way this is going. Perhaps it’s time for Castle to be a parent here and really tie the cord. And tell her not to let the door hit her on the way out. if they get him to grovel or apologize to this little snip it will completely destroy any respect one can have for Castle’s character.
