Although Callie’s only been in the Foster home for a short while, she’s already felt more acceptance than she had at every other temporary home she’s been in – combined. Things may not be great with Mariana and her relationship with Jesus currently only consists of him thinking she’s hot, but between her friendship with Brandon and the support Lena and Stef have provided her, she feels cared for (and loved) for the first time in a long time. As a result of her becoming more ingratiated into the Foster family life, she’s now been asked to join in one of the most important moments of Mariana’s life – the Quinceanera.
On the next episode of The Fosters, it’s time to celebrate the 15th birthday of Mariana and Jesus, which brings together two of the romantic storylines of the series in Callie/Brandon and Jesus/Lexi. While Callie accepts the invitation into Mariana’s Quince court, meaning that Brandon will have to walk her in and deal with the wrath of Talya, Jesus and Lexi are bound and determined to stay away from one another during Mariana’s party. He would never do anything to purposefully hurt his sister and since he knows that she doesn’t necessarily approve of him being with Lexi, he’s decided that they should cool it and keep their distance. However, the venue that the party is being held is only so big and they’re bound to run into one another sometime, so the chemistry that they share might result in a private moment away from Mariana’s prying eyes. But can they find the time to be together without being caught?
Elsewhere on The Fosters, Lena’s mother Dana arrives in town and the tension between mother and daughter is palpable, while Mariana finds out news that could ruin what’s supposed to be her special day.
